Had one of the best service experiences here tonight, Kiona was our waitress. She was very efficient and met all our needs. She is very friendly and cares about her customers. Our food was on point too, I personally got the 8 oz sirloin with a Caesar salad and vegetables. Kiona personally went into the kitchen and made our salads because the kitchen had a little back up. Don't bother ordering online. You will show up on time, be ignored for 10 minutes, and then still have to wait for your food. Im a big fan of my only interaction at a place for the first 10 minutes to be "next counter." But hey at least the 4 people at the greeters stand got to get their gossip in. So far I'm 20 minutes in to a wait because of the salads. Not quite sure how salads cause a 20 minute wait. You think they would come up with a better lie. read more

Texas Roadhouse is an amazing restaurant! I don't go there often, but I think that's what makes it so good. Everytime I eat there, I am welcomed in by their awesome and kind staff. When I walk in, the smell of fresh barbeque chicken and burgers surrounds me. I usually order a barbeque chicken sandwich and fried pickles with ranch dressing. The rolls might be the best part. They are soft and fluffy. The butter that is used is very sweet and I love it very much! I recommend Texas Roadhouse to everybody! If you go there to eat, you will not regret it. read more

This place is absolutely the worst the manger I meet the manger Tyler was the worst person in history I have ever meet me and my family went in there for dinner tonight to eat. I ordered the fried pickles my mom ordered the salmon salad and my dad ordered the cat fish dinner my dad only goes to this place to get cat fish because he likes it but after tonight I don't think we will ever be back my dad had to wait 10 minutes for his salad to come out and when his cat fish came out the sever tells him we are out of tartar sauce at this point my dad is so mad because as a server and as a kitchen staff you are to tell the servers you're out of things this is the second time it's happened and at this point he's furious because the rest of his family is eating so when the manger Tyler come out my dad is trying to talk to him and my dad is being Vary calm with him telling him that they should have told him they were out so he could have ordered something else but now the manger gets more aggressive with my dad brings him something else that's not tartar sauce but ranch and my dad tells him just to take the food that he does not want it and hands it to him and the manger Tyler walks off but when my dad ask for the manger again my dad try's to talk to him again and that's when Tyler that pice of accuse my dad of cussing and says he has people around him to prove that he did but that is a load of bull crap my dad has never cussed in his life ever and for him to accuse him of it is down out wrong and when the manger Tyler accuses dad of cussing my dad stands up on his feet because he doesn't want to sit down and more because my dad suffers from kidney failure so it hurts him sometimes to sit down a lot so when the manager Tyler ask my dad to leave because he is yelling to much to much I can tell u this the manger Tyler is a wimp I can tell you this we will be talking to corporate read more

Literally just left here with my boyfriend and it was our first time attending and we were both highly dissatisfied. As soon as we walked to the door an employee held the door open for 3 employees and then didn't for us despite seeing us. When we walked in we stood by the hostess desk and she ignored us after clearly seeing us. The person who directed us to our table seemed as if we were a bother. Our table was dirty and the floors were covered in wrappings and food. The plates for bread were wet and dirty. our fried pickles weren't hot and our ceased salads were SOAKED in dressing. Neither of our foods were hot. my sweet potato was practically cold and my steak was not hot. My boyfriends fries weren't done all the way. This place isn't good and i do not recommend. read more

The atmosphere is set up to create a down-home kind of restaurant. However, the food was more than simply down-home. The sirloin steaks that we had were reasonably priced. Mine was quite good but my wife's steak was slightly tough. I'm sure if we had objected they would have taken it back. Our waiter, Nick, was excellent and paid close attention to our needs and do you specifics in our order. All in all, it was a pleasant experience and we will go back the next time we want steak. read more

We took a chance and dined here a week ago after a very long day of shopping. We were too hungry to wait until we got home to Grand Blanc and I was too tired to cook, so maybe I wasn't that picky and my standards were lower, but I thought it was nice. It was a little loud, but not jarring. Service was great, very fast and our food was perfect, except for one glaring exception. That onion app was not good. I would never order it again. Greasy and gross. They ought to take that off the menu. Steak and baked potatoes were perfect, vegetables were good, drinks were refilled quickly. This is a newer steakhouse and I could tell, it was nice and updated. We will be back. read more

Stopped into The Roadhouse for lunch today. The wait was short and the staff was friendly and helpful. The food didn't take too long (it was a Saturday afternoon) and everything was exactly as ordered and delicious. Plentiful portions and the rolls and butter were soo yummy! I'm too disappointed! Why can't a place that specializes in steaks, cook a steak, medium well-no pink? This is common in places that just offer steaks on the menu, but come on, you SPECIALIZE in steaks. ‍ The waitress and I had a full discussion about no pink, but I was apprehensive about saying "well done" because "I didn't want it to come back tough." I communicated this apprehension to the waitress. It came back dripping in pink. I sent it back and again, pink. Rather than risk further discomfort for my dinner companions and the waitress, not to mention my own anguish, I just told the waitress that I would take my steak home and cook it myself. It took 2-4 minutes for me to cook the pink off and my steak it's not tough. Let me add, 2 other of my table guests sent their steaks back as well, because their steaks were dripping in pink, but when they returned pink, they kept their steaks to keep the peace. I ate here for the first time today with my parents. Yes, it IS a loud restaurant, as mentioned by other Yelpers, BUT the quality of the food makes up for that (if that is bothersome). I had the 6 oz. sirloin with sweet potato and corn. I ordered my steak well done and it was perfect. The potato came with some cinnamon butter melting on it and the corn, I believe, was seasoned with pepper. The rolls they give you are delicious, especially with the cinnamon butter. I also like the fact they have a little bucket of peanuts on the table to munch on while you wait. Would LOVE to come back!! read more

Ok so the steaks are really of a very high standard, comparable to many restaurants that claim to be way better and that charge so much more. The let down really is that the staff are, in many cases not up to par, no where near the standard to be expected in a premium steakhouse. If you make a passing comment or a complaint you get attitude and a stare like you have two heads. Tonight I went out with friends for dinner and for the first time was disappointed- the ribs are usually the best ribs around but tonight they were burnt around the edges and dry. Three of us ordered the ribs and ALL of our ribs were dry and had burned areas. It was busy, we waited for bread, waited a long time for our food. Overall not a great experience. read more

It's a week before Christmas, Sunday night, we got there around 6:00. No wait, seated right away. It took our server a LONG TIME to come to our table (that's never a good sign). Service was slow, kitchen and bar backed up. 2 of our four entrees were VERY undercooked, and one in our party had to wait 15 more minutes to get her side of mashed potatoes. The server seemed lost and confused. The manager knocked some money and our app off our bill. We may or may not give it another chance. Tonight's experience was not good. read more

Everything from the service to the food was amazing- I got the half slab of their famous ribs and the meat seriously feel off the bone, it wasn't tough or dry. Seriously perfect. My husband got the steak and shrimp and his plate was clean when we were done also- I seriously can not stop saying how good this place is !!! We almost went to casa real but saw there wasn't a lot of people there yet at 3:50 (they open at 4pm) so we decided to wait and oh my goodness. Well worth it. Good food fair prices. Definitely recommend. The dining area is super dark the lighting is almost nonexistent but I expected my bill to be higher than it was. The person I was dining with ordered a Caesar salad. The rolls and cinnamon butter appetizer are edible and freshly baked. The eating environment was dark but tidy. The staff was friendly. My husband and I ate there on March 13th. We both ordered sirloin steaks. I was very happy with my meal and my steak was perfect. My husbands on the other hand wasn't so great. Every bite had fat in it, which is strange since sirloin shouldn't have fat. We informed our waitress, who gave wonderful service, and she asked if we wanted to speak to the manager. My husband ate almost the whole steak so we weren't expecting any discounts on the meal. After speaking with the manager she took the price of my husbands meal off of our bill. We've eaten there several times and never had an issue, so we know this isn't normal. We will eat there in the future. I am very impressed with how polite our waitress was and how accommodating the manager was. read more

I visited the Flint Texas Roadhouse location recently, and felt the need to share how much I love this restaurant! I go there consistently about once a month to get a nice meal. I always get the same meal; A cactus blossom, 6oz butterfly fillet steak, medium well, and 2 baked potatoes as my 2 sides, with extra sour cream. (So I can eat one with my leftovers). The food here is amazing and service is impeccable, they are always so kind, no matter if the mistake is on you or them, if you let them know, they are more than happy to take care of it. The atmosphere is pleasant and well decorated, there are plants at almost every table, walls are filled with pictures and neon signs. There are large TVs with many different sports per your choice, and it is cozy. The only problem is the time you have to wait to get into the restaurant. The past few times I have arrived at this location, the wait has been at least an hour. This is with or without a reservation. I called in a reservation, and waited 2 hours to be seated. Of course we waited for the time because it is the only semi-nice meal you can get, and one of my favorite local steakhouses. When we finally are seated, we wait about another half hour for food, in which they distract you with their yummy bread. They have unlimited rolls that are always hot, and honey butter that melts the second it touches the fluffy goodness. Once the food arrives, the sides are usually warm, sometimes cold, and for the money you pay, it should be guaranteed that your meal is hot. If your food comes out warm or cold, do not hesitate to ask your server to heat it, they are always so kind and will heat the food with no issue. That being said, if your steak is not cooked to your liking, also communicate that to your server, they will gladly go and fix it, then send a manager to check on the rest of their meal, and possibly even discount the meal. That is where the amazing customer service comes in. As someone who previously worked in the restaurant business, If you share input respectfully, most servers will gladly assist you. Their goal is to satisfy you as their customer. The wait to get into the restaurant really depends on which location of the branch you choose, sometimes at other Texas Roadhouses you can get straight in with a maximum of 20 minute wait. Besides the wait and the food temperature, this restaurant is guaranteed to satisfy your taste buds! Their slogan "Legendary Food, Legendary Service" really says it all! The place was really crowded. After a 20 minute wait we were finally seated. That's when everything went down. We were attacked by fruit flies./gnats. I mean when they delivered the bread the gnats came with it. As drinks were served more gnats came. By the time our meal arrived there were too many gnats to count. Where did they come from? This was in February on one of the coldest days In Michigan. We could not eat our food. All we could do was swat flies. We tried covering our food as we ate but that didn't stop them. If the gnats were that bad in a very crowded restaurant dining room then I can't imagine what the kitchen must be like. My grandson refused to eat his meal so the waitress said she would replace it. She returned with cold food which made us think that she gave us back the same food that she took away. The manager arrived and I told her the problem. She agreed. I also shared some advice about how to get rid of the gnats. The manager brought out a new boxed kids meal and assured us that it was freshly cooked. She took the kids meal off the bill but did not take anything off the adult meals. I ended up taking the food but threw it out because how can you enjoy a meal when you know that gnats have been all over it. read more

Came here last week and honestly the service was so bad. Our servers name was Sydney. She did not try to up-sell by recommending any specific drinks or appetizers. My boyfriend didn't get a lemon with his iced tea and when he asked for one she said ''okay but you know there's a lemon shortage going on right now?''. Ordered our dinner and a food runner brought it out. We needed re-fills, a spoon, more bread and extra napkins. She was at another table and just walked passed us without saying anything or taking care of it. After close to an hour went by, she finally stopped over and dropped the bill off without saying a word. I had to stop her and ask if she could bring us some boxes. It was so awful. I'm a waitress too and had just worked a 7 hour shift myself and just wanted to get some food and relax. I'm so thankful I was paying instead of my boyfriend because he will always tip over 25% regardless of how terrible the server is. I still gave her $5 but she didn't even deserve that. read more

Tonight, I came in with my in-laws for a Sunday dinner. Everybody wanted prime rib, so we asked the server "Do you have rare to medium rare prime rib?" She said absoutely. When the order came out, the beef was med well to well done. Everybody but me sent it back, as I was hungry. The manager appeared and told us it was rare and she had none less cooked. She also asked if we had ever had prime rib before. She then offered us ribeyes and asked if we had ever eaten a ribeye. She kept interrupting my in-laws and was very rude and condescending. The server apologized for the managers behavior. Bizarre. The manager offered no apology and didn't offer anything. read more
