Let's look at the service - one of my best experiences ever - and I have been to a mega-ton of places. The server, Bryson, was by far the best ever. His timing, demeanor, and positive disposition was spot on. His level of pride and professionalism is an example for others to strive to achieve. Great job Bryson. The food - far better than usual - spot on cook temp for the meats, and everything else was perfect. I was really surprised by the slow attendance at first, but within 30 min, it was getting pretty full. Everything was clean and appeared in place. Over all - an exceptional experience, mainly due to The service!

Country fried steak, salad, fillet 6oz, cheese fries. How we left it after our "meal"

Party of 2 on a weekday afternoon -- we were quoted a 25-minute wait, which was no problem, so we decided to sit at the bar instead. Mae was our bartender during this visit. Unfortunately, the experience started off rough. We sat for about 10 minutes before being acknowledged. The bar was steady, but there were multiple opportunities for at least a quick greeting or "I'll be right with you," which never happened. We also had to ask for refills twice, despite there being clear chances to check in. We drove about an hour to visit one of our favorite chains, so this was especially disappointing. Food: The filet was overcooked -- surprising, especially since the staff typically explains the expected doneness. No one checked back on the meal, and for the price, it was unacceptable. It ended up burnt and inedible. The country fried steak was also a letdown: soggy, lacking any crunch, and served cold. The cheese fries appetizer came out very cold as well. To wrap up the experience -- when we left, our table told the whole story. Nearly everything we ordered was still sitting on the plates, barely touched. In many restaurants, that alone would prompt a manager to stop by and check in, but there was no acknowledgment or follow-up at all. No one asked how the food was, despite it being clear something wasn't right. The photo below shows exactly how our seats looked when we left. I really want to see this location improve because it's close to home and part of a chain we usually love. One positive: compliments to the baker -- the bread was great as always.

    Birthday boy enjoying his steak.

But we were not so in love last night. The restaurant was quite empty maybe about 8-9 tables and yet I it took well over half an hour to get our food. Any other time we've been there it's been super busy and we've gotten our food in half the amount of time. We were sitting at the bar, ordered Long Island, iced tea, and two waters, I admit the waters were good smooth drinks, but the Long Island cheese were sooo much and. too strong. We said as much to the bartender and she laughed like it was kind of a joke. We literally split two drinks up to four. I do admit my salad was wonderful, but that sweet potato was pitiful! Almost 4 dollars for a .25 potato is ridiculous! Here's the lesson, you need no help on the salad. It was great. You need to really evaluate your sweet potatoes and a Long Island iced tea should be smooth.... so smooth that you order a second one not that you get a second one in the first story. And your service really needs to be service.

The host greeted us warmly, quickly found our reservation, and showed us to our table in the lounge area. It was busy with lots of people (as expected on Valentine's), but the noise level was still comfortable. The wait staff was fantastic -- super kind, attentive, and helpful throughout the evening. We started with a bottle of Albariño, caviar, and I had the soup, which was absolutely out-of-this-world delicious. For my entrée, I selected the Valentine's preset menu, which included the soup, a perfectly cooked NY strip, and a dessert that was outstanding. I actually told them that dessert needs to be added to the regular menu -- it was that good, even if it was just a one-night special. My husband ordered the scallops and was very pleased -- he said we definitely need to come back again. It's definitely a place to celebrate something special. It is on the expensive side, and reservations are recommended, but the experience makes it worth it

The hospitality and integrity of the team turned what could have been a frustrating evening into a very positive one. We'll absolutely be back.

Started, as all the diners here, with rolls and three flavored salts. The cheese rolls were the clear winner, and the siracha salt won me over on a little butter at first bite. Enjoyed an appetizer of tuna served 2 ways - seared and minced. Note the plates here are not sized for sharing, they're perfectly composed single dishes. The steak was the best plate I had throughout our stay at the Ritz. A tender filet, perfectly cooked, sitting on a little mash tater island with a few asparagus, covered with a pleasant sauce. Some nice high end cocktail choices. Extensive list of pretty badly overpriced wines, though we did enjoy our $120 bottle of $30 wine.
