Let's look at the service - one of my best experiences ever - and I have been to a mega-ton of places. The server, Bryson, was by far the best ever. His timing, demeanor, and positive disposition was spot on. His level of pride and professionalism is an example for others to strive to achieve. Great job Bryson. Party of 2 on a weekday afternoon -- we were quoted a 25-minute wait, which was no problem, so we decided to sit at the bar instead. Mae was our bartender during this visit. Unfortunately, the experience started off rough. We sat for about 10 minutes before being acknowledged. The bar was steady, but there were multiple opportunities for at least a quick greeting or "I'll be right with you," which never happened. We also had to ask for refills twice, despite there being clear chances to check in. We drove about an hour to visit one of our favorite chains, so this was especially disappointing. Food: The filet was overcooked -- surprising, especially since the staff typically explains the expected doneness. No one checked back on the meal, and for the price, it was unacceptable. It ended up burnt and inedible. The country fried steak was also a letdown: soggy, lacking any crunch, and served cold. The cheese fries appetizer came out very cold as well. To wrap up the experience -- when we left, our table told the whole story. Nearly everything we ordered was still sitting on the plates, barely touched. In many restaurants, that alone would prompt a manager to stop by and check in, but there was no acknowledgment or follow-up at all. No one asked how the food was, despite it being clear something wasn't right. The photo below shows exactly how our seats looked when we left. My dining experience at the Texas Roadhouse located at;1508 Boone Street Kingsland Ga. Was disappointing. The food was good however; the sound system was so loud that every child in room was screaming and jumping around. The staff was even loud so that they could be herd over the noise. I spoke with the assistant manager about sound level it never changed. I realize that this is not the Trump Tower but I didn't expect a sports bar atmosphere. We visited the newly opened Texas Roadhouse at 4:30 on New Year's Eve and had a great experience. Parking was a breeze, especially for those with handicapped tags--this location has more accessible spaces than anywhere else in town. We were seated in under five minutes. Aside from the bar area, all seating is in booths, which we really appreciated. There's plenty of room, making it comfortable without feeling cramped. The service was a bit unusual in that our waiter welcomed us and took our drink and food orders, but multiple staff brought the food. Our sides even arrived before our appetizer, but it wasn't a problem. For food, we started with the blooming onion. I had catfish with a Caesar salad and roasted mushrooms, and my husband had a six-ounce filet with chili fries. Everything was excellent. My husband is very particular about his steak. He's often had to send it back multiple times at other restaurants. Here, his rare filet was cooked perfectly on the first try. One thing to note: one of the other reviewers mentioned that the background music was loud, and I have to agree. It forces you to talk over it, giving the place more of a school cafeteria vibe than a quiet, romantic dinner spot. If you're looking for a relaxing, intimate evening, this isn't the place, but if you want a great steak dinner and don't mind a lively, noisy atmosphere, it's perfect. read more

Sat in the bar area for dinner at around 745. We ordered an appetizer and ate the appetizer (asked for sour cream and got ranch) before getting our actual food ordered. Food took a good amount of time for not being super busy, both mine and my wife's meal was wrong, she got smothered (wasn't) and didn't get the butter with the shrimp. My steak was the complete opposite of what I ordered. Had 2 different waitresses bring our drinks and appetizers. Took my meal about 15 min to get fixed even though it was a medium rare steak. Both our orders were not complicated by any means, if this was our first time I probably would never come back but I know there are amazing servers that work there. I saw the steaks on display on the way in and decided to order a 22oz bone in ribeye. The first one that came out was missing a chunk and full of gristles. A manager came to the table and acknowledged the terrible steak and said the next one would be on point. The next one wasn't missing a chunk but was over cooked and also full of gristles. We showed up a little early , around 4 pm, in order to beat the dinner rush. We wanted to celebrate my husband's birthday. The hostesses at the front stand were very pleasant and informed us that there would be a 10-20 minute wait. It, literally was under right under 10 minutes when we were sat. Our server Daniel was an absolute professional and we didn't want for a thing with him taking care of us. He was very knowledgeable about the menu and offered up his favorite items. We ordered the Rattlesnake Bites for an appetizer and I got a dragon fruit refresher. All I have to say to start is the ROLLS!!! No more explanation needed with those. The drink was indeed refreshing and the bites were delish. My husband ordered the steak and ribs entree and I ordered a cheeseburger with a loaded baked potato. His steak came out perfectly cooked, medium rare and my cheeseburger was on point. Daniel brought my husband a complimentary chocolate dessert. I was kinda sad that they didn't sing for him. We visited about 5 PM New Years eve. Restaurant was surprisingly busy at this hour but maybe because it was New Year's eve. We were seated at a booth quickly, waitresses was attentive, food delivered in a reasonable few minutes and all was good, as expected. Only real concerns were restaurant was quite noisy with just customers' conversations and made worse by unnecessary music and wait staff doing birthday and other celebrations. Because of all the background noise, no way to have a casual conversation at our table. We will be back. read more

The last 3 times I've been there has been an issue. They have shorted a side twice and today I order prime rib medium. It was medium well. Extremely salty. I asked for another drink from the girl who brought us our meal. I was almost finished with the one I had and wanted another one to have the my meal. It never came. i asked the server and he said she told him but that I still had quite a bit left of the first one so he didn't think I was ready for it. By that time the first drink was completely gone and I was finished with my meal. I also finished the glass of water he had brought me. He said since I was finished with my drink he would get me another one. I am 67 years old and don't need some kid to control how much I drink. Needless to say I did not enjoy my time there. A big waste of my birthday gift cards. I think next time we'll make the trip to River City or just go to Longhorns. We couldn't wait til y'all opened up, but it will be a long while before we go back. read more
