Came here with my dad and kidlet while in town. Dad was nice enough to drive to this one vs the one by his house since this was closer to our hotel. Got seated quickly (was running late cause traffic) and got the delicious rolls and cinnamon butter. Snacked on some rolls while deciding what to order. I got an 11 oz sirloin with mashed potatoes and side salad, kidlet got pulled pork with steak fries and applesauce (of which they ate neither) and dad got a steak, shrimp, corn and mashed potatoes with gravy. Food came out quick, was hot, steak was seared to perfection and the perfect temp (med rare for me). Enjoyed my steak and sides. Kidlet enjoyed the pulled pork and had some of my steak. Was too full for dessert and kidlet took home rolls, leftovers and the bag of peanuts (we asked and server said we could). I usually don't write very long or not so nice reviews but I had to from this experience. I have been to Texas Roadhouse several times and have always had a either decent or good experience, so I was happy when I was told my nephew wanted to have his birthday dinner here. His mom called at 2pm on a Tuesday to see if they could have a table available for 16-18 people by 6:30pm, she was told it would be no problem and the table would most likely be ready 20 mins before we needed it. Fast forward to Tuesday evening, we were told we couldn't wait by the hostage stand so all 16 of us (and 2 babies waited in the area between the doors. By 7:20 we were still not seated even though several people from our party had went to inquire with the hostess stand when we would be seated and they were each told that either our tables were being cleaned or that they were were for a table to leave so it could be cleaned. At this time we took our entire party to the hostess stand to let them know it was almost an hour from when we were supposed to be seated and to let them know a few people from our party had left. The hostess coordinator was named Morgan and she was very very very rude. While we were trying to explain that our party was now smaller, she yelled at us and pointed her fingers and her faces and said "LET ME FINISH!!!". I was shocked. She then told us that there was no way all our our party could be sat together but they were cleaning out a section (it is right across from the hostess stand and I believe they store the high chairs there) and that they would seat us there. This section had been unoccupied the entire time we sat starving and taking up space in the entrance doors. Didn't make any sense to us that this was offered to begin with but we were just happy to finally be sat. Our drink orders were taken right away and rolls were brought out very quickly as well. The rolls were nice and warm but I had a nice long hair in either my roll or my butter. Drinks were brought out too in a fast manner. My salad came and was decent. But then when I got my meal, the 4 piece fried catfish, there was hair in the batter and some sort of animal hair in my baked potato. A manager eventually came over and was told how long we waited and how incredibly rude Morgan was. The manager (I forget her name) apologized for the wait, the hair and Morgan, she removed my food off of the bill and gave us two free appetizers for our next visit. I am not so sure how much she really cared about our concerns but she tried to correct them on some level. I would have given this experience a 1 because of the wait, the fact that I only ate half a roll, 3 bites of my fish and my salad and the rudeness of the hostess but the one shining bright spot in this whole ordeal was our waiter Scout!! He was so incredibly nice and professional and very efficient. With our large party he was spot on with all of the orders and who had what, he apologized for anything that anyone complained about and he did it with a smile on his face and not a smirk. If my review was based off of Scout alone, it would definitely be a 5! Others should hope to be as awesome as Scout was. Big shout out to Scout and one reason most of us will give this location another chance. read more

We had a reservation for four (2 adults, 1 teen, and 1 baby). We specifically noted that we would need a high chair. Our server, Caeley, was fantastic from the moment we sat down. She brought the high chair, cleaned it off, got everything set. She was warm, respectful, and clearly cared. Meanwhile, her manager Brenda was standing right there watching the whole thing. The moment my wife picked up our 7-month-old to set him in the high chair, Brenda marched over and said, "Umm absolutely not, we cannot have a high-chair in the aisle, don't want your baby to get hurt." The tone was rude, condescending, and completely unnecessary. She had been watching the entire setup and waited until the last possible second to swoop in and make a scene. She then grabbed the high chair and acted like she was doing us a favor by offering to move us to a different table, even after we clearly told her we were fine and just needed the high chair we had already requested. She kept pushing the move anyway. At that point, she had already ruined the experience. As she walked away, my wife heard her mutter, "Okay, fuck you too then." Let me be clear: this manager was nasty, disrespectful, and completely out of line. She offered zero actual solution to an issue she created. We didn't need to move tables. We didn't need attitude. We needed a high chair for our baby -- something we noted in the reservation and something their own staff had already provided. Meanwhile, Caeley continued to be amazing. She saw how horribly her manager behaved and still treated us with patience, kindness, and professionalism that her boss clearly lacks. She single-handedly salvaged the visit. I am a manager myself, and I would never stand around watching an employee do something I supposedly didn't approve of, wait until the employee walked away, and then confront the customer with hostility. Brenda should not be in any leadership role. Her behavior was unprofessional, disrespectful, and frankly mean-spirited. She made what should have been a simple family dinner needlessly stressful and uncomfortable. Caeley deserves recognition. Brenda needs to be removed. read more

We came at around 8 on a Saturday evening to eat dinner. I suggest checking in online, the restaurant is consistently busy. I checked in online..on my way to the restaurant and I was glad that I did because it was a 20 minute wait but by the time I got there and got inside we didn't have to wait at. When we were sat there wasn't any bread up, so we didn't receive any. I sort of wish that the host would have just waited another minute for the bread to come up before seating us but not having bread wasn't the end of the . My grandma really enjoyed this place for her birthday last year, and my dad and brother have always loved it. I think it's become more overwhelming since the pandemic, as it always feels overcrowded - kudos to the chef for that, though, truly! - and hot because of the open kitchen concept. I love TR! I think it is a fantastic restaurant if you want quality food at a great price. For example, I ordered a 12oz prime rib for only $18! On top of that, it was the best prime rib I can remember eating in a very long time. Everything about it was extraordinary. It was at least an inch thick, perfectly cooked to my liking, and extremely tasty. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. Of course I can't forget about the rolls... they are the main attraction for many of my friends and family. They are soft, sweet, and come with a cinnamon butter that is divine. You should probably stay away from Texas Roadhouse if you have a peanut allergy (free peanuts are everywhere), a family history of diabetes, or if you are currently on a low fat diet. Amanda was an exceptional waitress and continually refilled our beverages even though the restaurant was hopping (think 45 min wait for a table). The bottomless rolls with cinnamon butter are one of my favorite features of this restaurant. This visit I had the chicken critters with fries and a ceaser salad.
