I've been to many Fogo de Chāo locations, and this is one of the prettiest to look at. Nice location and nice space. But the food at this location is a little lacking. I had one piece of meat with edges to tough they were like wood. Most of the food was okay, but it wasn't up to the quality of most Fogo de Chāo locations. With this stunningly beautiful building, this location needs to step up its food game.

The ambience was great. You definitely felt like you were in a higher end restaurant. The market side bar would be sufficient for a meal all by itself. There is a great variety of vegetables, fruits, and salads. I had a caramilized pineapple old fashioned and it was delightful. The meats that came around to the table were flavorful and well cooked. The service by team approach is great as you are never wanting for anything. Rachel went above and beyond. The only reason for the missing star was the host that seated us. I explained that we had a reservation for their $49 special but I couldn't remember what it was called. He said that is only offered at lunch. He finally said it was available and said it is this and pointed to the $69 full market. Much later, someone else came in and sat behind us and said they had reserved the $49 taste of Brazil and the waiter said "okay perfect". Other than this, the experience was exactly what we wanted it to be.

We celebrated NYE here and had the full churrasco experience. The food was scrumptious as always, the atmosphere was vibrant and exciting. Our service was exceptional as the gauchos were circulating frequently with plenty of meats to choose from, steak, chicken, lamb chops, sausage, bacon wrapped everything. Our server Mataeo did an excellent job and recommended a fantastic bottle of wine to enjoy with our meal. While the venue is typically packed for the holidays, our 4:45 PM reservation ensured we were seated promptly. However, the lobby became increasingly crowded as the evening progressed."

If you're a meat lover, Fogo de Chão is basically heaven on a skewer From the moment we sat down, the experience was seamless. Servers in traditional attire glided through the dining room offering perfectly grilled cuts of beef, lamb, chicken, and more--all carved tableside. The picanha was easily my favorite: juicy, tender, and seasoned just right. Pro tip: flip that card to green and come hungry! The Market Table is a dream. Fresh greens, smoked salmon, imported cheeses, cured meats, and seasonal fruits--it's honestly worth visiting even if you're not a meat-eater. Everything was fresh and beautifully arranged (you'll want to take pictures!). Don't even get me started on the sides. The pão de queijo (cheese bread) was warm and chewy, the creamy mashed potatoes were decadent, and the caramelized bananas added a sweet surprise that cut through all the richness. To top it off, we ended the meal with their signature papaya cream and tres leches cake--both light, smooth, and not overly sweet. Just enough to round off the meat feast. Yes, it's a bit of a splurge, but the quality of the food, the service, and the whole theatrical dining experience make it worth every penny. Great for celebrations, date nights, or treating your inner carnivore. Would definitely come back--and I already have a favorite table. .

Salad bar selections there's a little bit of everything on this plate.

It is an amazing spot especially if you love hot off the fire pit food. The different delectable meats that come to the table when you are ready for it is so tasty and hot. The salad bar that has all sorts of delicious options to choose from is amazing and always fresh. The atmosphere is relaxed fine dining at a reasonable price and you get your money worth. The Brazilian limeade is soooo delicious. All the lamb and steak and chicken and sausage and bacon wrapped meats I mean you get nice and full. The wait staff is fantastic! With the price of beef going up I think it's well worth it. Great for office lunches after church dining, wedding anniversaries, date night or just casual eating out with the girls it it suited for every event and well worth it. The dessert is fantastic as well.

What a fantastic upper end experience. Situated in the beautiful Country Club district, amongst the gorgeous Spanish Moroccan architecture and bountiful shopping. In spite of not having reservations, we were seated immediately. The staff all take care of you - so if your original server is busy, someone else will come over and make sure you have what you need; that was cool as we had the opportunity to meet four or five different people, not to mention the staff going around with the meats on the skewers, who were universally polite. A plethora of meat selections as well as a salad bar that you could easily choose as your entire meal. I had the cauliflower steak (I know, I went to a Brazilian bbq spot and had the vegetarian entree) - it was VERY GOOD. My friend had the traditional meats on the sticks extravaganza. Was a little disappointed that a fancy Old Fashioned that was on the menu was not available (out of pineapple?) and that the bartender didn't come up with something equally interesting to sub - just gave me a standard Old Fashioned - boo. Other than that, totally fun and would go again in a heartbeat.

    Very nicely lit

I happened to visit during the World Cup, so the flags made the atmosphere feel especially fitting. It was relatively quiet when I stopped in, making it a nice spot to relax with a coffee and pastry as well. The menu isn't huge, but it offers a nice selection of Brazilian favorites, including pão de queijo (Brazilian cheese bread), coxinha (Brazilian chicken croquettes), and Escondidinho de Carne, a Brazilian-style shepherd's pie made with yuca instead of potatoes (available with either beef or chicken). Many of these items are also sold frozen to take home, along with brigadeiros, cakes, and other desserts. They also serve coffee, smoothies, and a creative lineup of açaí bowls named after Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu belt colors. I've never had an açaí bowl before, but the belt-themed names definitely made me want to try one next time. My Order: Beef Yuca Shepherd's Pie The crust was flaky and buttery with a savory beef and yuca filling. I ordered it to go, and it was still warm by the time I got home. Honestly, I'm not sure I could tell much of a difference between yuca and potatoes, but if you're already a fan of shepherd's pie like me, this is definitely worth trying. The woman at the counter was friendly and welcoming, and the café itself was clean, bright, and comfortable. Atmosphere & Service: 5 Beef Yuca Shepherd's Pie: 5 The only reason I'm giving 4 stars overall instead of 5 is because the menu is fairly limited. I just wish they had a few more sandwiches or lunch options because I'd definitely come back to try them. I'll definitely be back to try one of the açaí bowls as well as the Beef Yuca Shepherd's Pie.

There is plenty else on the menu, but if you're vegan or vegan-ish, then good luck or maybe have a cheat day. The BBQ is fantastic and Ice House has added their own bar & grille twists, so you have options beyond smoked meats. Seating is pretty good, and with both a wraparound bar and table service, there are plenty of options. As is the norm these days, there are screens in all directions, so you just don't miss a single moment of sportsball if that's your jam. P&L is a jammed up place when events are happening, so if you can find yourself a spot to sit and enjoy, then that's a win. County Road offers that and more, and it's only real knock is the service levels, which can be slow at busy times. But hey, if you have a seat and maybe a drink, then wait just a few extra minutes for servers to plow their way through the bar crowd. Definitely worth it for the BBQ alone.

Nestled inside the ultra-luxurious Raphael Hotel, this upscale Restaurant/jazz club had our group feeling like we were heading to a high-society adult prom. The ambiance practically demands a raised eyebrow and a sophisticated toast. Naturally, the libations were flowing. On one end of the table sat a chocolate martini so decadent it looked borderline sinful. On the polar opposite end of the spectrum, I ordered an extra-dirty Chopin martini, complete with blue-cheese-stuffed olives. Look, it didn't reinvent the wheel, but it was executed exactly the way I'd make it at home--assuming I could ever actually find a bottle of Chopin in any of our local liquor establishments. (Seriously, who is hoarding it?) We kicked things off with the gourmet bread basket. Do yourself a favor and cough up the extra $5 for the super soft bread and whipped butter; your tastebuds will thank you for not being cheap. For my starter, I opted for the she-crab soup, which presented itself as a spectacularly rich crab bisque. Word on the street is that she-crab Is vastly superior to he-crab. This is a PG-rated review, so I shall leave the mechanics to your imagination. Then came the piece de résistance: the 12-ounce ribeye, flanked by asparagus spears and Delmonico potatoes. This sucker was thick. When I asked our waitress for a proper steak knife, she politely pointed to my standard-issue butter knife and confidently declared, "That's it!" I thought she was joking. She wasn't. Melt-in-your-mouth is an understatement; this medium-rare masterpiece yielded to a butter knife like it was soft brie. The sides were equally stellar. The Delmonico potatoes were a beautifully elevated, elite version of scalloped potatoes, and the asparagus was snappy, tender, and perfectly seasoned. The evening's only tragic misstep was the cheesecake. It, too, was incredibly thick--but in all the wrong ways. While fortunately not overbaked, the texture resembled a very well-flavored, highly gourmet paste. To add insult to injury, the graham cracker crust had completely surrendered its structural integrity, offering none of the classic crunch I crave. Minor dessert tragedy aside, it was a phenomenal evening. The service was impeccable, the vibe was unmatched, and that steak alone warrants a return visit. Next time, I'll just be exploring a different corner of the dessert menu.

They were so meaty and delicious. I could honestly make a meal out of them. This is not a hole in the wall place that makes you feel like you went back in time. The establishment obviously takes pride in everything they do. It shows in so many ways. The place was clean and the employees were well dressed. The cooking staff management team looked like they were proud to wear their beautiful black uniform, very professional and impressive. Putting that all aside the atmosphere is very impressive. Price wise it was comparable to the other outdated dirty places. Definitely a place to bring your guests especially if they are visiting Kansas City. If I needed a catering service, hands-down, they are my first choice. I'm flying out tomorrow afternoon but work here all the time and I will certainly stop back in today to get an another taste of heavenly food.
