Our favorite time I'd mid afternoon when things are not as crowded Out of dozens of visits, I had one issue with a Magarita that did not taste of Tequila at all. Do not go to Texas Roadhouse as I did recently in a party of five. All of my food was subpar. Spend your money at Outback. It is much better quality. To begin, the Cactus Blossom's petals are smaller than Outback's. The breading has no flavor. The petals are grossly greasy. The Cajun sauce is good. My salad was room temperature and the vegetables were limp. The secret to Outback's tossed salad is that they are perfectly chilled and fresh. The baked potato was forgettable. And finally, the presentation of the ribeye steak was nasty. It was a piece of thin meat, topped with an oily mess of very thinly sliced onion and tiny mushroom pieces. It was so unappetizing I was a bit shocked as I looked at the plate. The steak was barely chewable. Even the large steak knife could not cut through the sinew. I ate less than 1/3 of my dinner and threw the rest away. The server did not remove any of the dirty appetizer plates or empty glasses until requested. No one commented on their meals. Oh! It was a Monday and the $5 margaritas were good. What a waste of my $145.00. Never again. read more

Went with my family on 8/7/2022 for early dinner. The place was crowded and busy, but we got sat right away next to the bar. The waitress came and took our drink orders. Few minutes later she returned and took our appetizer,dinner and any other drink orders. The salads came first for my wife and myself. My son did not get a salad, but the appetizer followed while we were finishing our salads. While we were eating our appetizer then our dinner showed up. After that I had to track down my waitress for failure to bring drink refills as well my onion/mushroom side order that I did not get with my steak. That took about 30-40 minutes to get my waitress. The food was excellent, but the lack of customer service was not there! We left a 10% tip, paid the bill and we're gone. read more

We sat down at our table placed our order. Shortly after placing our order a roach crawled across the wall of the booth we were sitting in. Notified the manager who told us that they spray for roaches every week and they come out of the wood work after spraying for them. These people did nothing but scream the entire time I was there,l. Could not order my meal without having to yell at the server for how loud these people are , unfortunately the staff encouraged this . Placed a waitlist online on our website way there and had a minimal wait. Got seated in Teri's section. Greeted with a smile. She got our drink order, meal order, quickly delivered drinks, salad with extra dressing, steaks with correct sides. Steaks were a little too raw so she returned them to the kitchen. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. She had a bunch of tables and some large parties but she kept a smile, drinks full and was on top of every tables needs. She is truly amazing. We enjoyed our food but Teri made it WONDERFUL!! So if you get Teri- give her a little extra tip- she works hard! read more

I arrived at the restaurant around 4:30 PM ET on a Saturday by myself. There was a waitlist, but I was seated in about 5 minutes. The wait staff acknowledged me within 2 minutes. The waiter was friendly, took my drink order, answered questions about differences in their steaks and took my order. She checked back a number of times during the meal. The Sprite I originally received had insufficient syrup and was close to club soda. When notified the waiter immediately offered me another, I got Coke this time. The mix was correct. The New York Strip Steak was cooked medium, slightly tough, but flavorful. The waiter recommended the sautéed mushrooms and onions with the steak. I usually avoid this, but, as done, it was a nice addition that complemented the flavor of the steak without contributing a heavy one of its own. The salad greens were fresh with nice variety. The Thousand Island dressing was standard, but was definitely better than the grocery store variety. The sweet potato was perfectly cooked with no burnt spots and well dressed with sugar, cinnamon, and butter. The yeast rolls and honey butter was good; as always. Been to TRH a couple times. they do a good job getting people in and out. They are always busy. Food is great. The cook is 90% accurate on my steaks every time (I like med Rare). The wait staff has an upbeat attitude and cheerful. There is the occasional slacker. Overall, a great place. read more

My husband and I both got food poisoning after eating here. We both had water, bread, green beans and sweet potato alike. After about 6 or 7 hours we both became very ill with vomiting and upset stomach. I do believe it was something from this restaurant and when I called to ask if anyone else had reported any symptoms, they continued to hang up on me. Poor service all around and no accountability. I am pregnant and ended up going to the ER due to the aggressive vomiting and diarrhea. read more

Took our dog to PetSmart and decided to try this location while we waited. The manager was upbeat and provided great customer service, samples, & a bag of peanuts. The waitress was nice, but despite the fact that her name tag said she had 5 years of experience, she still seemed a bit confused and in a rush. The food was delicious and freshly prepared. My second drink seemed watered down compared to the 1st one, and the bartender had to go get another bottle of Tito's to make my drink. I'm not sure he even put anything in it, because it only tasted like cranberry juice. I would probably keep it to a one drink minimum here. Personally I probably wouldn't come back to this location. As if the crowd noise wasn't sufficient to make our meal conversation practically impossible, we were taken aback by a lot of whooping and hollering when we entered. It appears the staff are trained to be full spirited with their birthday greetings. It's loud, but apparently fun for many of the guests. Our meal started off with a Cactus Blossom. It was pretty, and I give them kudos for cutting it properly where the onion pieces are easily gripped, but this is no where close to the Blooming Onion made famous by Outbacks Restaurant. The seasoning is bland, as is the sauce. We left over half on the table, and I wouldn't recommend it. Entrée: Grilled shrimp was good, but like the onion, it lacked any seasoning. It was just grilled shrimp, nothing more, nothing less. They did a good job of deveining the shrimp, I'll give them that. The steak was cooked just as I ordered, but they brought me a sirloin when I had ordered a ribeye. I ate it anyway, but like everything I'd had leading up to it, it had no flavor. I had to pour on the steak sauce to salvage it. They did get extra points for it being tender with little to no gristle. Side dishes: Chili - good, sautéed mushrooms - not so good, no flavor, sweet potato - good. Eating at Texas Roadhouse will not break the bank, so I can't complain loudly about the lack of seasoning. I was bragging about the food to our friends. however, when they brought the food out, the filet i ordered was a sirloin and not medium, it was as dry as could be. therefore I asked for another one. It was still a sirloin. Our suspicions were confirm when we were leaving. In the meat case, the steaks I was served look exactly like the sirloins, shape and everything. You should not be trying to pass filet off when you have none. other issues, the cactus had a good bit of onion skin, which made it awful. The catfish had way too much batter. At the end the waitress was less than congenial. We travelled a good distance and we won't be returning. very unfortunate!! read more

First time eating out since the shelter in place! When you arrive you do have to check in as they have limited seating due to social distancing. We got sat within 10 mins they put us at a table which my party wasn't too happy about because we had a child who doesn't do well in chairs or high chairs but it was ok! Our server was Kat, super sweet and very attentive! I ordered the beef tips with mash potatoes and house salad! It wasssss sooooo gooood! Visit Texas Roadhouse yesterday. It was extremely busy as usual but no waiting. It was a great experience from beginning to end. The hostesses were all friendly, cheerful and upbeat Our server, Sarah came over quickly. She was also friendly and professional. Sarah checked on us often. The food was served in a timely manner. The food was delicious. The portions were adequate. I was also very impressed with Alex, a server, who paused with a friendly/upbeat attitude and checked on us (twice). The service was what you'd receive in a fine dining restaurant . On further observation the restaurant appeared to be fully staffed. The busy servers (all) appeared to be upbeat. Even the table cleaners appeared pleasant/upbeat. I suppose the slogan on the back of their uniform shirt is true . . . "I My Job (Texas Roadhouse)". The food is fine, the service is awful. Our server in particular looked like every and I mean EVERY request from butter to napkins was a huge inconvenience. Have a question? Don't ask it. Have a request? You'll wait for that request to be filled. Meal came out wrong? Suck it up, it's not going to be fixed. I literally mean to the extent that when we asked for a side of dressing, that dressing was plunked down on the table without even a word while our server stormed off elsewhere. Once our meal was dropped, we didn't see her until she tossed the check on the table. The front of house staff also was abundant with the eye rolls. I'm giving it 4 stars because it's my first visit and I got great service despite them being slammed. Maybe the last star will be added on subsequent visits if I get what I got today. I came this afternoon and the place was crawling with huge parties. People with 20 in a group showing up at a time. However, I was seated immediately and taken care of very well by my server Nicole. She didn't miss a beat. I got the ribeye and ribs combo with a baked potato and salad. I couldn't finish the entire meal and took it home. Maybe I'll have it for dinner later. The food was pretty good. However, the waiters and waitresses don't know how to wear a mask at all. The noses aren't covered and since that along with secretions by mouth are the main way to spread covid -19, it would be awesome for them to protect themselves and their loads of customers by wearing face covering appropriately including covering the nose and mouth especially when in direct contact with guests. You never know what people have and you never want to take it back to your family! read more
