The service was decent but the food was very underwhelming. I ordered the lemon pepper wings (which was best item imo) but the chicken tenders were super dry and the Parmesan fries did not have any seasoning or flavor whatsoever. I almost stood and yelled "EEEYUCK" at the top of my voice. My girlfriend had the grilled shrimp tacos. They were very underwhelming as well, lacked flavor/seasoning and the sauce was watered down on them as well. The corn salsa tasted like it came out of a can. What a great meal from start to finish. Great service refills without asking but not a hovering server. I am on a personal quest for the best fried pickles these were close but still not the best I had. I ordered the Buffalo Cobb salad, this was excellent and plentiful my husband had buffalo chicken tacos, you got 3 tacos and choice of a side he chose sweet potato fries. Both had excellent flavor and portion size was great. The third meal was fajita tacos with side of steamed broccoli. These tacos were also tasty and filling and the broccoli was excellent (fun fact broccoli served in fried tortilla bowl) Definitely recommended by everyone in my party! read more

Stopped on our way through Macon for lunch-seated immediately on a Wednesday about 12pm. I got the bone in wings with the sweet BBQ sauce. If I could have drank that BBQ sauce I would have! Seriously it was SO good! The homemade ranch was also super delicious!! Overall best lunch we had over a week long cross country trip! When we come to Macon to visit we love stopping here for the wings. Very good hot wings, but also loved the garlic parm wings as well!

Wings were fat, juicy and wet!!! Sides were great! I had a to go order and it was perfect. Ready right in time and piping hot!

I have been here a few times and ordered takeout. I recommend the wings and southwest wraps. Everything is always hot and delicious. A huge tell sign if I'm going to like wings at a restaurant is if the ranch is home made. This restaurant has homemade ranch that is delicious! They also have a spicy barbecue sauce that's good. If you enjoy bar and sport bar settings you'll enjoy dining in. They also have outdoor seating. read more

I hadn't dined here in a very long time. I ultimately had my mouth set on some ribs and since I was in the area I decided to stop to Buffalo's. I was saddened to hear they no longer had ribs however I chose the wing and tender basket. The wings were cooked well and were very good. The tenders were edible however they lacked seasoning. The fries were the least desirable. They were cold and stale. And this was upon checking my plate once I made it to my car outside the establishment. I did not feel like going back inside to get more as I had another appointment so I just ate the wings and tenders. Just came from a pathetic meal. I ordered the kickin chicken wrap. Hardly any chicken to be found but lots of rice and way too much sauce action for my taste....they may want to rename it the kickin rice wrap. Advised management but they didn't seem too interested in my opinion and didn't even offer an apology of any sort, the manager said "it's a wrap" like I didn't understand what a wrap is. Table wobbled during our meal which drives me nuts. Upon leaving, the employees were gathered in the hostess area just gabbing away....not a thank you, have a good night or anything. Tonight I placed an order for pick - up. It said it would be ready at 6:27. I told my husband to give it an extra 15 minutes as it was Friday night. It's 7:30 and he is still waiting for our order. I chose Buffalo's Cafe today for lunch, and I have mixed feelings. I quit coming here when the other wing joints in Macon opened up, but I felt I should give them another chance. The restaurant itself is dark, and is covered in wood paneling, and dated tin decor...which I assume is supposed to be the theme. Upon entering the restaurant, the employees were hanging around the hostess stand, and all they looked forlorn. I requested a booth in the bar area, as the dining room is just too dark for my taste. This Buffalo's location actually gives off a "dive bar" vibe. Anyway, I was served by the bartender, (I didn't get her name because she didn't offer it) and she was very nice. I ordered the Garlic Parmesan, and Lemon Pepper wings, and cheese sticks. The Garlic Parmesan wings were tasteless and unremarkable, and I don't think you can ruin Lemon Pepper wings. The cheese sticks were warm, with no cheese pull. My bartender/server was nice and attentive, but Buffalo's ranks out of my Top 10 places to get junk/comfort food. read more

Usually love Buffalo's, but today we placed an on-line order. Arrived at pickup time to be told that my order was not received. I was then told it would be another 20 minutes for my food. Apologies from the manager on duty, but 40 minutes to get wings from the time of order is a little ridiculous. Staff at the front look like they couldn't care less about service. On a side note, the food was excellent, I was extremely frustrated with the lack of communication from the 2 girls at the counter. The manager was very apologetic. It is very frustrating to know how good a place is, go out of your way by 30 minutes to be told that it would be an additional 20 minutes when you're driving through to Florida. read more

Wow, Buffalo's just isn't as great as it once was. I use to love the Buffalo Wrap they had here; it was so wonderful and tasty. But on a recent trip to Macon we stopped by Buffalo's and I ordered the Buffalo wrap and when it came out it was a soggy mess that was bland and the rice in it tasted undercooked. Service was ok at the bar, but the bartender was more about looking at this phone the whole time than paying attention to our empty beer mugs. We could have probably had 2 or 3 more beers, but lack of attention left us having 2 beers each and leaving. read more

I will start by giving Buffalo's a shout out for being on the of the last remaining open restaurants in this area on a major holiday! While our original plan was't Buffalo's we ended up here on Christmas Eve evening around 6:00 PM. At the time, there were a few tables and large parties dining, but it was decently slow. Due to this, we were sat immediately and our waitress come to see us fairly quickly. We got our drinks, including a beer then ordered our food in quick succession. It was all delivered to us within minutes of ordering. Food wise, we had a variety at the table with a few wraps, a burger and a pasta dish. I personally had the Kick'n Chicken Wrap, unaltered - I decided to get the house made tumbleweed chips as my side. The wrap was delish! It had a great chicken to veggie/rice ratio, it came with ranch on it, but I ended up asking for an additional side as it was a very small amount actually added to the wrap. So, just a heads up that you may want to do the same if you go this route! While the wrap was tasty, the chips were beyond disappointing. They were severely under-seasoned and bland. Some had a good crisp, but majority seemed under cooked. Overall, they were under whelming and frankly put, not good. My table mates did state that their meals, including the Hangover burger were cooked well and quite good. I did get the opportunity to sample the garlic-parm fries, as one of my peers made the wise decision to upgrade from the chips. The fries were great! Service wise, as mentioned we had a great experience! They were well staffed with not only servers, but runners and bussers. Additionally, the Manager walked around to check on all the active tables, which was a nice touch. Overall, the service was solid and the food was decent. Service is Very good!! Everyone is so pleasant. Out of a few items, but during COVID it's understandable. Lots of tvs in the bar. The buffalo chicken dip was delicious! Wings were good, but needed more sauce which we were charged for. The Texas style toast had good flavor but not toasted on the back, more like raw bread. The problem is that they sell their wings by the number and on more than one occasion they have come up a wing short on the order. No big deal right, except they charge about $1.00 per wing. One wing shirt is like getting shorted a cheeseburger at McD's. It's just not right. If the amounts were right than it would be a 4 star.
