Visited Shoreline Seafood on Jan. 20 with 2 other friends. Lawren was our server which happened to be her 1st night and we were her 1st table. Lawren did an amazing job, 5 stars for sure!!Any questions that we had she was sure to get the answer. She was extremely personable and professional and will do a great job there. The food did not meet 5 stars. The table ordered crab cakes, crab hushpuppies and Rockefeller oysters. All were good but nothing more than 4 stars. Not quite hot enough and lacked flavor. I also ordered a chambong which was good but was not the same as I had at Shoreline in early December. In early December, the caviar included a spoon of crème freshe; however, last night was a wilted spoon of greens at best. Will I return? Yes, absolutely. I will write off last night as a slow night given it was a Tuesday evening. I wish Lawren all the best as she was a very personable server and was well prepared to get any questions answered. read more

This was recommended to us by our hotel. Definitely happy that we tried this place. When you first walk in the aroma is amazing inside. It has the seafood broil smell that makes your mouth water. My husband got the fish and chips but substituted the fries for the Mac and cheese. The fish was great, it is haddock and not overly breaded and the Mac and cheese was very good. It is not the box mac and cheese that many places try to give you as a side. I got the crab cakes that are on the small plate menu. They were not large and over breaded. They had a lot of crab meat and the sauce that came with the fennel salad on top was very good. The server Kila and the owner Krista are awesome and the experience was great. read more

My family came here spontaneously to have some casual fresh fish for dinner the day after Christmas. Within the three of us we had the Salmon Rockefeller, Snapper Rachel, and the fresh swordfish. Each and everyone of the dishes were exquisite, as we all shared in our excitement of deliciousness. Keela treated us so well and all of the chef's did an amazing job on taste, expediency, and presentation. I brought my family in while they were here for Christmas and I have every intention on coming back. So very happy. read more

The change in the restaurant is unbelievable. We have lived across the street for five years and just recently it changed hands. The ambiance is now quiet, calm and serene. I have a very small appetite and the server offered me the kids menu which has never happened to me before. Her name is Queila and she was amazing. It was good, not great. The scallops are too salty. The crab didn't pull out easily. It's not often 4 people leave a table still hungry. Only one server handling the entire restaurant on a Friday night. She was trying hard but that's not enough. $9 beers, live music that's too loud for a small restaurant, and hard metal tables. Friendly and fast service the handful of times we have been. My family loves the crispy, well seasoned Calamari. I love the crab cakes made with lots of actual crab, no mushy filler, nice crust on the outside. Scallops are excellent, well prepared, a crowd favorite I would not skip. Corn and lobster salad is divine! Watermelon feta salad- refreshing and nice choice. The Grouper entree is my family's favorite. Also love the boil, it's honestly a bargain for a lot of food. Couldn't make that at home for that price! The crab legs are my fav and they were delicious, tender and perfectly seasoned. You have to see their tinned fish from their specially curated collection. They also serve it with their seacuterie in the restaurant, so you can try it there if you're intimidated by it. 10/10! read more

Good Food, Hoping for a Better Second Visit. We accidentally stumbled upon Shoreline Seafood on a recent Friday night with zero expectations other than the reviews we had read on Yelp. Pulling into their unassuming parking lot, we expected a little more polish than what we found, but quickly reminded ourselves not to judge a book by its cover. We were warmly greeted by a couple of very nice hostesses and seated promptly. Our server was friendly, took our drink order, and came back with a great attitude to tell us more about the menu. I ordered the lobster roll special with chowder. Unfortunately, the food took a long time to arrive, which was surprising given that the restaurant was more than half empty on a Friday night. When my meal arrived, the lobster roll was underwhelming in terms of size. The chowder was decent, but I suspect it came from a can. My family opted for non-seafood dishes, and while no one complained, no one was particularly raving either. The experience left me hoping it was just an off night. The service and friendliness were there, but the timing and food execution fell a little short. We plan to give Shoreline another try on our next visit. Hopefully, the food will shine the way so many other reviewers have described. read more

This was, without question, the worst service I have ever experienced at any restaurant. We had a reservation and were told they were waiting for a table to open up. No problem--we were happy to wait. After quite some time, it became clear the table hadn't turned because the guests were still waiting for their final bill. That delay set the tone for the rest of the evening. Once seated, we were given menus and then waited a long time before anyone took a drink order. After receiving our drinks, we again waited a significant amount of time for someone to take our food order. Several servers walked past our table without stopping. Eventually, I had to flag someone down and ask if we could order. When a server finally came over, there was no apology and no friendliness--it felt as though we were inconveniencing them. I ordered one of the seafood boils with snow crab. When it arrived, it was served in a shallow dish lined with paper, similar to what you'd place under fries. Instead of receiving butter on the side, butter had been poured directly over the food. I was never asked if I wanted it "wet," nor did I order it that way. As the butter soaked through, the paper began to shred and mix into my food. Because crab and shrimp require hands-on eating, this made an already messy dish even worse. I also was not given a crab cracker or the small fork typically provided with crab. After trying unsuccessfully to get a server's attention, I had to get up and go to the counter to ask for a cracker. I later had to flag someone down for the fork. When we needed extra napkins, we again had to go to the counter, where we were handed a small stack of cocktail napkins--clearly insufficient for a messy seafood meal. No container or plate was provided for shells, so we were forced to pile them directly on the table, which felt unsanitary. No server ever stopped by to ask how our meal was or if we needed anything. At the end of the meal, a server brought the check and attempted to clear the shells using one of our used napkins, dropping several onto the floor in the process. It was, frankly, unpleasant to watch. They did comp our wine, which we appreciated, and the food itself was fairly good. However, service is a major part of the dining experience, and this was so lacking that we never felt welcome or cared for. Unfortunately, this is not an establishment we will be returning to. read more

Amazing! My husband and I ate here last week AND last night, everything was absolutely delicious! The snapper Rachel, salmon entrée and Far Diavolo are my absolute favorite, oh and the dessert is mouthwatering! Service was phenomenal, everyone was friendly and made us feel comfortable, even the owner and chef came out to check on us. We waited two hours for our meal. Food was good and waitress was apologetic, but still nothing takes this long. To rub salt into the wound the owner was more worried about meeting and greeting the new people that just moved onto the beach. Never acknowledged or apologized for the delay. I expect a two hour meal from a top end fine dining restaurant, not a converted cafe. Must do better and will not be back. read more

4 of us wanted to try the new menu. Two of us had the Basic Boil and the shrimp and potatoes were absolutely delicious. Corn was okay. My husband ordered fish and chips and raved about it. Friendly but serverchad no idea who ordered what. Took foever to get food which was Cold. Purchased Lobster Roll which was a Bite SIZE slider for $40. Lobster Mac N Cheese, one nice size piece but VERY CHEWY. Calamari Apetizer sent back. The Seafood Fra Diavolo was okay. Ordered wine but needed to be requested 3 times! To appeze the wait we had a Amous Busch of a chip with a little caviar drop to maybe be Fancy! We also received a Creme Brule Donut for the Haphazard Service, Wait and Food.....The Donut was the highlight all at the price of $100+ per couple. My husband and I are pescatarian and so I ordered the farro bowl and he got the salmon dish. We were told by our server that we could get that without the bacon bits. Unfortunately when it was brought out it still had bacon and all they did to fix it was scrape of the bacon. For a 32 dollar entrée you would assume that you would get what you want. In the end they still made us pay full price for the meal and the manager never came to apologize despite us being only 1 out of 3 tables . Even though the bacon touched the salmon. Also the prices are insane for a place where you seat yourself and they have local news playing along with children's Halloween music. Very disappointing.
