Service was extremely fast and friendly. The food was good, but it is always good! You just know when you go to a Texas Roadhouse, you're going to have a great meal at a fair price. We definitely enjoyed ourselves at this location.

We need to get someone to clean these blinds here at the Monument location, love the food, just not the view of dirty blinds

Best steaks and great dinner before 5 prices and selection. Sometimes loud but worth the food.

    Is this place Halal?

No. Definitely a lot of pork being prepared, BBQ'd, and consumed in this restaurant. They also have a full bar and serve a lot of alcohol. I'm sure they can try to accommodate customers' requests though if asked.

Maddie has become a friend and we're always happy to catch up with her. We like the small menu; everything we've had has been really well prepared and presented. Partner especially likes the Fish and Chips, and I love, love, love the best cheeseburger I've ever had - Jacki makes it just right, huge and medium rare. There are other good things on the menu and apps are especially good - but I almost always go back to that magical cheeseburger!

We brought Gizmo, my husband's trained service dog, who was clearly wearing his service dog vest. When we arrived, the employee told us we could not dine inside because we had a dog. My husband explained that Gizmo is not a pet--he is his trained service dog. The employee said she would go ask the owner or manager (I'm not sure which). A few minutes later, she came back and told us we still could not sit inside because, according to what she was told, my husband did not have a visible disability. She said that only people in wheelchairs or with visible disabilities could have their service dogs inside the restaurant, and that if we wanted to eat there, we would have to sit on the patio. My husband is a 100% disabled U.S. Army veteran, and Gizmo is his trained service dog for PTSD. His disability may not be visible, but that does not make it any less real. My husband and I travel everywhere with Gizmo and eat out often, and we have never experienced anything this frustrating before. We simply wanted to enjoy a meal and support a local business. Under Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act (42 U.S.C. § 12182) and 28 C.F.R. § 36.302(c), businesses that are open to the public must allow trained service dogs to accompany people with disabilities, whether those disabilities are visible or invisible. Service dogs are not pets, and access cannot be denied simply because a person's disability is not obvious. I hope the owner and staff take the time to learn the ADA requirements so that no one else--especially veterans or anyone living with an invisible disability--has to go through this experience.

We had a window seat looking right to the mountains. Great view! They have shades that come down as the sun starts to set. Is the decor "upscale", no. It's very nice but it's a hotel restaurant that serves breakfast too. So it can't be the decor of high end restaurants around town, but it is still nice. The killer views easily make up for that. They also have west facing outdoor seating..that will be nice in the summer! I just don't eat as much as I used to so my wife and I decided to split the Caesar salad and split the chicken pot pie. I assumed they would bring the one salad and two plates for us to do the splitting.....but no! They brought out the salads already split and ready to go. They did the same for the pot pie with each serving topped with a biscuit for the pot pie part. It was also nice that they didn't add a split plate fe The salads were good we both thought the pot pie was good and of course the half price wine was nice. The wine list is not extensive but some decent choices gruner (white) wine. I can't complain about the service, our service was friendly and attentive. I'm just a tough critic and while some folks gave 5 stars I'm at 4.

We made the reservation specifically to celebrate a special occasion, yet neither the hostess nor our waiter (Brayden) even acknowledged it. When we mentioned it ourselves, the only gesture was one measly glass of cheap champagne for a table of four. The dress code was a joke. OpenTable lists it as Business Casual, but we saw the hostess in sweatpants and Chuck Taylors, a server in what looked like physical training gear and Crocs, plus plenty of T-shirts, shorts, and open-toed shoes. Perhaps they should take their meals outside. Only the north section was seated during our visit, directly in the blinding sunset from 6-7pm. The only logical reason to keep it open seems to be avoiding cleaning it at close. Both surf & turf steaks arrived undercooked, and everything was wildly overpriced. Finally, Brayden--we could already tell your preference; the rainbow coordinating pens weren't necessary. Will never return. Damn food made all us gassy as hell.

They were friendly, courteous, had wonderful recommendations and made the entire experience helpful. Clarissa is usually at the bar bartending so keep an eye out for her there. The food was exquisite from the Beet and Stracciatella Appetizer, the Caesar Salad Prepares Tableside to the Rib Eye, Filet Mignon and New York Steaks. On top of that the sides including the Wild Mushrooms, Brussels spouts and Au Gratin Potatoes were mouth watering! I would highly recommend this restaurant for a special occasion as it definitely brings the vibes!

I called the restaurant to see if they had a bar that served the full menu. The nice hostess who answered the phone said, Yep, come on in and we'll take great care of you! So I showed up an hour later, walked to the main restaurant entrance only to see a big sign that said "Closed for Private Event." Clearly that was more than a little frustrating given the welcoming conversation I had with said hostess not an hour earlier. I asked the bartender who was in earshot just to confirm. He said yep - we're closed, but the Tack Room is open across the hall. I asked if they served the full steakhouse menu over there. He responded, I have no idea! Needless to say, my decision to come to Flying Horse is going downhill fast. I walk to the Tack Room. Clearly it was busy and likely understaffed - because I waited 5 minutes before anyone even acknowledged me to be seated. I finally got seated at the bar. They did in fact serve the steakhouse menu there - so at least that. But now I'm seated in an after-golf sports bar next to some pretty not-sober folks eating hot wings - which normally wouldn't bother me at all, except I came for a $100 dollar steak, exceptional upscale dining experience, not a sports bar. But I was already there so attempted to salvage. Bartender was relatively attentive but she was clearly slammed and the servers were running around stressed. Again, not the classic steakhouse vibe. I ordered the New York strip medium. The steak came out WAY over salted and unquestionably rare. More like black and blue honestly - definitely not medium and not even medium rare. So I ate half anyway, then paid up then left. I don't write reviews often - but in this case I felt compelled. I came to a top-rated steakhouse, paid top-dollar prices, and got a Texas Roadhouse experience. It is what it is.
