This is the place to see and be seen in the Boro. Recently opened, I made one unsuccessful visit before getting in today. The key: Call ahead and get your name on the waiting list. They will give you a code to check-in and you are already moved up the list. Be aware, the parking lot is not big enough for the crowds that are showing up and you may have to park on the dirt lot next to the paved lot (like we did). The service was very attentive. We were checked on several times while waiting for our orders. The warm buns and cinnamon-honey infused spread was a good starter. Our steaks were cooked just right, medium-rare as ordered and the sides were in good proportion to the meat. This is definitely not a place for a quiet, secluded romantic meal for two. 6/27/24. Went for steaks and salads. The food was really good. My wife had the sirloin steak and a salad with a baked potato, I had prime rib and salad with a baked potato. We both eat or steaks Med-Rare and they were delicious, cooked just right. We had a good server. She did a nice job, made the meal pleasant, very attentive. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was the rolls wouldn't even melt butter. They were cold, and we got there at 3:10. Just opened, no excuse for that I ordered water but they don't have filters. The water is terrible, I had to switch to Diet Coke. I don't know how this affects the coffee and tea. I have filters on the faucet at our apartment sink and ice maker. read more

So I believe in second chances. This is our second time at this location with a large party. All large parties are split among tables in a section and with different servers. Our party had to go to the bar to get drinks not once but 3 times. Was told that they were out of multiple items 30 minutes after we ordered. The food arrives and 4 out of 7 meals was incorrect and the bills was not correct either. I felt bad for the servers as you can tell that the ones that are there are trying but lack of support left them hanging. Not what I consider a good meal or pleasant experience. read more

I am always impressed when I come here. Food is extremely good, service is pretty fast. The only thing is that even when you check in online you will still have to wait a long time. We checked in online and got told a hour. We ended up waiting almost 2 hours. It seems really excessive and seems there is really no system in place. read more

Roadhouse is always consistent in my opinion! When it comes to chain restaurants, consistency is key for me, and they never fail to deliver. Met family at Texas Roadhouse for dinner. The service was not reasonable from the minute we entered the door. The hostess refused to seat us because one person out of 5 had to park a work truck and trailer. The hostess was a very unhappy employee. Parking is not friendly to construction industry. Server was friendly and gave good service. He apologized for the black flies flying around. We spent our entire mealtime waving the flies off our table. The steaks were not cooked as was ordered. We are of the belief that it is never healthy to send food back to a kitchen for a redo. The salad was setting in water and the sweet potatoes were of the seed potato variety. Someone does not understand how to choose sweet potatoes to be served. The potatoes were full of fibers due to being seed potatoes. We spent $200 and very unhappy. Probably will not return or recommend this restaurant to anyone. Management has gotten way too comfortable just slinging hash with tasty bread. Restaurant needs to step up their service, food and atmosphere. I did not see any employees enjoying working here. I rate this restaurant a 2 out of 5. read more

The horrible location and parking is enough to not come back but the kids working the hostess stand, very unprofessional. It's very loud in there, not a place for conversation. The blasting of the music and the servers dancing while bumping into you while you're trying to eat is annoying but of course the rolls and drinks are good. Probably won't be back though. read more

Texas Roadhouse served it up tonight! I had the filet and my husband had the 16 oz Ribeye. Cooked perfectly! Salad and sides were fresh and hot. Our server did an awesome job and we did not want for anything. It was a Wednesday night and we went early so we did not have to wait. The staff wore masks and gloves. The parking lot was so full of cars , cars were lined up for parking spaces. We were on two waiting list and waited two hours to be seated. It was worth the wait. The food here is Great! But our waiter was trying to talk to us and another table of folks at the same time which didn't make a very good impression. For two people we spent $45.00 and it was well worth it. read more

Had an awful experience here last Thur. 2/1 which ruined a family birthday dinner. The parking lot is a disaster- no where to park... 1 problem that could be eased by not have 10+ To-go spots! (most places just have 3 or 4) We tried to do call ahead for our party of 7 as the website says to do for more than 5 people. Great idea, BUT NO ONE WOULD ANSWER THE PHONE!! We went thru the options sev. times on the call menu, & it would just keep rolling over. So, 1 car with 3 of us got there 30 min. earlier than the rest & got our name on the list. It was a 45 min. wait, but that would have been doable with us 3 early birds. They called our name after about 40 min.... but, all they did was have us line up in an aisle!! Then, we were blocking the main way to dif. sections of the restaurant, including making it hard for customers in wheel chairs to get around us. Then after 15- 20 min. of that, they got us to a table. One person at our table actually had to get his food to-go as he works the early shift the next day. With all this one would wonder why it was so busy on a THURSDAY NIGHT!! If it was a weekend I could understand. Then, as soon as we got our food we ordered a to- go for someone that couldn't make it. Guess what- 1 meal, rolls, & an appetizer... discovered when we got home they left the appetizer out. We've tried for a week calling to get a credit... & again NO ONE WILL ANSWER THE PHONE!! &, we don't live in Murfreesboro... so, don't really want to make a special trip. So... do NOT go here if you want to eat in the Restaurant. If you want to keep your sanity, just do the food to- go/ order online, etc. And Texas Roadhouse- maybe open another location in Smyrna, another part of Murfreesboro, etc.? But I've visited this locations many times and it's always " rolls aren't coming in today very fast " or the potato's are hard like that zapped them in a microwave. This is a really good place to eat. Food is consistent and service is usually good. We have had a few servers that have not been as attentive. I really only have one issue. Why in the world is T.R. not open for lunch during the week. They are missing out on a ton of business. If they are not going to open for lunch during the week how about opening at 3 instead of 4! Texas Roadhouse at Murfreesboro, TN, is an interesting experience. Unlimited amount of hazelnuts to start with while awaiting for the food works out well. The steaks are exposed at the entrance -- they look pretty good although we are not talking about weeks of dry-aged variants in this venue. Instead, this meat seems to offer a good compromise as for the price and quality. I was hesitating between the steak and ribs so I went for the combo as suggested by our waiter. Good choise it was, indeed. The babyback ribs fell apart of the bones, and the ribeye was pretty juicy and tasty. Taken that the plate includes two sides (e.g., decent-sized salad and filled owen-baked potatoe), warm bread, and those unlimited nuts, the 24 dls plus tip does not sound bad at all. Quality-price ratio yields four stars, at least, while the ultimate prime steak experience in some more peaceful and decorative environment requires somewhat more specialized (read: more expensive) steakhouse. read more

Yes, when it opened up two years ago, they were serious about customer service. Now, it's obvious that the new has worn off. The food is terrific, but our recent visits were marred by the steak coming out before the salads, by our drinks never being refreshed or refilled, by anything extra we asked for ( ranch dressing and horseradish sauce) showing up long after our entire meal was finished. The worst aspect of all was that the manager wasn't that concerned about our uncomfortable experience. She just agreed that all their waitstaff don't deliver things in the right order and that they have some things to work on. We were very uncomfortable and sad, because the Roadhouse used to be our favorite place. Hopefully they will step up their game if we ever come back. read more

Having enjoyed a number of meals here since their opening I must say this restaurant has their stuff together. From the exceptional service from the staff and management to the foods they prepare provides you the comfort you are going to enjoy your meal. The salads are always fresh and crisp and their homemade dressings are great. I've enjoyed their steaks, ribs (fall off the bone tender), country fried chicken, grilled BBQ chicken, roasted half chicken, and grilled shrimp. Every dish was well prepared and I love that they do not complain if you want modifications to the dish. I must say...my ABSOLUTE favorite dish is the three tender filets topped with their Portabella Mushroom sauce...this is soooooo delicious and filling. The medallions are perfectly cooked, tender and juicy...I normally switch the rice to mashed potatoes. To top it off...their prices are great and they also honor their Veterans with a discount off their meal. read more

I was so looking forward to hitting the hot new spot in town, but the only thing hot about it is that it's a hot mess. I'm hoping that things will be better on a return visit and I can update my review. We knew the crowds had been thick and the wait times long since the opening so we came right at opening time and were seated immediately. There were five of us, and oddly enough, there are no large tables in this place. To seat five, they put us in a booth, slapped a four top next to it and I was in a folding chair. This may cut the mustard when you have all the family over at Thanksgiving and there's not enough chairs to go around, but in a brand new restaurant? Really? Once we were seated, we had our drink orders taken and got a couple baskets of leathery rolls. Not too long after that, our orders were taken and our appetizer arrived. We had a coupon for a free one and opted for the fried pickles. They were pretty darn good, if a bit salty. They were nice and crunchy and had just the right amount of batter. About the time we had made it through the app, salads made their way to the table. These were good as well, and those croutons! As if right on cue, when we finished out salads the entrees came out. This is where things start to go a bit south. I had ordered a Fort Worth Ribeye, rare with loaded fries. The steak came out medium, which I normally would have sent back, but the cut of meat was so good that even though they overcooked it, the thing was still pretty good. The fries on the other hand, were palatable only because they were covered in cheese and bacon. If you got one that the toppings slid off of (which happened quite a bit due to the grease), it was just a bland mouthful of potato. After the fries had sat for a few minutes and everything cooled, it just lost everything that made it good, so I didn't touch any more of it. Food-wise, it was ok, but could have been better. Hopefully this will improve with time. Environment-wise - where do I start? As other reviewers have pointed out, it's loud. VERY LOUD. Don't come here if you plan on having a conversation over dinner. In fact, don't come here unless you're cool with your ears ringing after you leave. One of the staff actually stopped by our table to apologize because it was so loud, and we hadn't even mentioned it. There is also line dancing. The servers will periodically break out into a line dance, which is entertaining until you realize that some of them have no sense of personal space and you turn your head to realize that some guy's rear end if practically inches from your head. With the way they had me seated in the folding chair extending out into the aisle, it was no wonder. Probably explains why every couple of minutes a server would run past and bump into me. Will we be back? Probably. Hopefully they will get some of the kinks worked out, but as of right now it's on my wait and see list. read more

Every place on a Friday night pack and the wait was long. Called ahead service to put us on the list. Gave them my confirmation number as soon I arrived. We probably waited another 15mins to be seated. I had a good attentive service. She always came to refill our drinks and check on us. We were please with the service we got.
