We usually eat at the N. Canton location and love it always great service and food. We were in New Philly shopping and tried this location. My wife had a good dinner of steak and mushrooms and I wanted to try something different so, I tried the country fried steak. Took one bite and gagged. Tasted like someone opened a salt shaker and dumped the whole thing on it. They offered to make me something else but, couldn't eat after that. Watched my wife eat. Visited the New Philadelphia location for work. Stopped by for dinner to celebrate my hire and raise. New Philadelphia area is set up odd especially where restaurants, Walmart and Menards are located. There are no clear signs where to pull in. A restaurant is right in front of Texas and you are supposed to drive thru it or thru the Sheetz gas station. Tractor Trailer Supply is behind them and no entry if you go that way. Texas Roadhouse was clean and prompt to seat me however after order was taken very slow. I ordered well done and it came medium well with too much red. The manager apologized and fixed it right away. Everything good as should be expected with chain restaurants. Bar service friendly and always cleaning. We had a nice conversation and she asked me to come back which probably won't happen due to it being out of the way and only for work exam. Nice place. read more

Texas Roadhouse was always such a treat, and it's still one of my favorite places. The food is always so fresh and flavorful. It doesn't matter what dish I get, the meat is ALWAYS tender and juicy. The sirloin was my go to for a while, but I also love the prime rib and country sirloin. It's really incredible quality and for a reasonable price too! On top of the great food, the servers and to go have always been so nice and efficient. I think Laura was the name of the girl we had last time. Ok, not a fan of the cinnamon butter or the sweet rolls but I could get a maker's Mark on the rocks. House salad way above average as was baked potato (salted skin). Steak/shrimp combo very good with lot's of garlic on shrimp. Partners shish kabob a little over cooked. Excellent service. read more

Most of the time the food is pretty good. We have had a few issues with overcooked steaks or just terrible food but overall we have a pretty good experience. The servers/staff are good most of the time. This is our go to place for steaks when eating out. Pricey but worth the cost IF you want a good quality steak. I was craving some bbq food and it was boiled down to Hog Heaven or Texas Roadhouse. I was recommended to try Hog Heaven, but noticed that Texas Roadhouse served complimentary dinner rolls so I decided to just check it out. I LOVE BREAD & BUTTER! As soon as you walk into the restaurant the atmosphere is very similar to having a party in a barn. It was packed and very busy and I probably had to wait about 10 minutes for a table. The hostess mentioned that was a very short wait time compared to what they're normally used to - so lucky us! They have those buzzer things to let you know your table is ready. The hostess brings you to your table, with rolls and if it's your first time they give you a bag of peanut that is also a coupon for a free appetizer (certain appetizers) if you come in next time. For our very first time, our server was very nice and attentive! He was accommodating and even offered to change the temperature cause he noticed I was cold. They have booths and tables available, along with bar seating and plenty of sectioned dining areas for groups or maybe large reservations. On the way out, the waitresses were line dancing - I thought that was pretty cool, festive and definitely added to the western theme. I tried the fried pickles and onion blossom and thought they were both okay, the fried seasoning was nothing to rave about and it didn't make me want to order them again. I also tried the bbq pulled pork - which I thought was good and such a good value! I had to take it to go and that one meal turned into three. I also came for steak night on a Wednesday (for a limited time only) - that sirloin was also good - I would come back if I'm craving steak. I had a side of baked potato - loaded with everything - both times and you really can't mess that up. I really enjoyed the complimentary dinner rolls with the side of cinnamon butter - probably why I give this place 4 stars. This place is festive, good food and value for the price and I had nice and attentive service both times that I visited. Fair warning - don't be disgusted by the peanut shells all over the floor. I forgot to mention, they also offer peanuts to snack on at your table - the saltiness of the peanut shells is goooood. read more

This restaurant is so well run. We were greeted and seated immediately. Our waitress Gabbie was great! She was helpful, friendly and attentive. While we were seated I saw 3 tables being thoroughly cleaned by 3 different workers. They were able to turn tables over so fast. Our food was really good too. We stopped here on our way to the Adirondack Mountains. It got the best Yelp reviews in this little town. Well, we loved it! It was a Saturday night and people were waiting outside, but we were eating in 10 minutes because we chose the bar. They have salted peanuts in buckets. The beer is ice cold, and my margarita was yummy. We loved the friendly bartenders. Food came FAST. I had the salmon, a Caesar salad and sweet potato. Perfect. My husband had the 16 oz ribeye, mashed potatoes and a salad. He ate every bite. I never do, but it was sooo good. The sweet potato was huge. The bartenders were on the spot. Ate here once, and at two other locations in Stark County. Just don't get it. People willing to stand in line and wait to get in this place. Mindblowing! Had steak all 3 times, and you would expect the steak to be good, since it's the main reason they exist. Some of the worst steak I've ever had. I know it's a national chain, but come on.
