Finally got around to trying the newer North Olmsted Texas Roadhouse location and I must say that I was really impressed by this location. Even though we went on a VERY busy Saturday evening, we were seated after only a 5-10 min wait time and our server Devin had stellar service. The ambiance was that of the typical TR. I could be wrong but I feel like there was much more seating available than at the other location on ridge which may have attributed to us being seated so quickly. (Also want to mention that there was ample parking at this location as well). Our food was amazing and everything was made to our liking. Glad we tried the twisted mozz sticks. The breading was so flavorful. We will definitely be back to this location read more

I absolutely love Texas Roadhouse. This was my first time at this location and this is definitely the location I will coming to everytime. Upon entering we were greeted and chose to sit at the bar. customer experience starts at the front door and I'm sorry to say whoever hired Jalaya should be let go! This is the absolute worst hostess I have ever encountered. My family owns several restaurants in the Cleveland area so you never know who's walking in. The rudest sour puss lady ever! This was my first time ever visiting a Texas Roadhouse. As a vegetarian, this wouldn't be the type of restaurant I picked but I was surprised to see that they did have some things I could eat. I did the country veg plate which lets you choose 4 sides. My salad was good, but the fries, mixed vegetables and corn were just okay and lacked a lot of flavor. Service was relatively fast and we had an excellent server who took good care of us. read more

My husband and I had dinner at the fairly new Texas Roadhouse in N Olmsted the other day. We were early so we both ordered the Sirloin steaks dinners for 12.98. The steaks were perfectly cooked mine medium and his med rare. The waitress Autumn was nice and very attentive and checked on us to make sure we liked our food. Whoever delivered our dinner had us cut into the steak to make sure it was what we wanted! The baked potatoes and dinner rolls were good also. The manager even asked if we were doing ok and let her know if we needed anything. We will be back., I'm sure. read more

Texas Roadhouse in North Olmsted is my favorite steakhouse. Use call ahead seating and the wait won't be long. If you're looking for a budget friendly steak house this is the place to eat. I had the prime rib with steak fries and a salad. They keep there salad bowls nice and cold like they should be. Anthony was our server and he's the best! We didn't have to ask for anything. He checked in on us without ever having to wonder where he was lol. Yes it's a chain steakhouse but you can pick out the steak you want. That's a plus for sure. Used to be my favorite go to restaurant since they opened last fall. Used to go weekly. The past month to 6 weeks, the service has really gotten bad. I usually go by myself and sit at the bar. The past 3 times I have went, it took more than ten minutes to get the previous diner's used plate and cups cleared and even for a waitress to ask me what I would like to drink. Today after waiting more than ten minutes to be asked what I want to drink, I just left. The food remains very good, as is the atmosphere. I understand it is busy. But it should not feel like pulling teeth to get my seat at the bar cleared of garbage or to be asked for a drink. Will try again in a few months. read more

Well as expected a Saturday night this place was busy like most restaurants right! Brea the manager failed her bar staff of only two bar agents. When asked if one of the servers could split the bar tab and food tab and she asked why? I explained being on business alcohol has to be separate. Poor attention give to the bar sordina as the two ladies working the bar were more involved in making drinks for rest of restaurant. Finally after dinner she didn't split bill, so I had to wait again for her to make more drinks. I started off with a 20% tip as I always do and go from there...after making more drinks we went to 10% and finally a disgruntled server she handed me the bill and said sorry I'm over worked and mgr wouldn't help....unbelievable service and lack of care I assume from Brae. read more

We visited the North Olmsted Texas Roadhouse to celebrate our son's 13th birthday, and the experience was extremely disappointing from start to finish. Our server, Payton, provided poor service and seemed disengaged throughout the meal. My husband's drink was taken for a refill and never brought back. His smothered chicken arrived without gravy or cheese, and the server never asked for his preference--just omitted both. My meal came out missing the vegetables entirely, and my sweet potato had marshmallows burnt to a crisp on top. One steak ordered with cheese arrived covered in mushrooms, onions, and cheese, while another sirloin requested medium rare came out dry and overcooked. When we addressed these issues, Payton's only response was, "I don't know why it came like that." There was no apology, no effort to correct anything, and no manager involvement. We also mentioned it was our son's birthday at the start of the meal, but only as we were getting ready to leave did the server send over a small bowl of ice cream and a few staff members to sing. It felt like an afterthought and did little to make up for the rest of the experience. Horrible service and mediocre food. We left disappointed and do not plan to return. read more

Honestly one of the worst steak experiences I've had in a long time. I ordered a Pittsburgh blackened filet and it came out rare. Had them cook it more and somehow it came back both overworked AND tough. My husband ordered a porterhouse medium rare and it arrived well done the first time, then came back the second time looking grey and exhausted like it had lost the will to live somewhere between the grill and the table. We didn't even eat it. To be clear -- this was NOT our server's fault at all. She was actually great and did everything she could to fix it. The issue was 100% the kitchen and management. The best part was the manager telling us, with a straight face, that "it's hard to cook a porterhouse." Sir... respectfully... your restaurant literally sells them. That's like a pilot saying landing is the hard part. Then after telling us he was going to take it off the bill, we were still charged for it anyway. Amazing. A clean restaurant, hot food, good portions, and stellar service! Our server, Kristen, was absolutely wonderful and went out of her way to ensure we had a perfect meal. However, the kitchen was far too heavy-handed with the salt. The seasoning was overwhelming, to the point where I couldn't eat my steak fries. It would be much better if the chefs left the salt levels up to the guests at the table. Service was great! Very attentive, friendly server. We got there around 3:30pm. It was starting to get busy. I ordered the 8oz filet. It was very good, cooked perfectly to order. The fresh rolls with cinnamon butter are great. Skip the "smothered mushrooms." They're $2.29 extra and were terribly burned, thin and really just nasty. The taste of mayo was overwhelming in their blah tasting Caesar salad. The rice has a weird spice in it that I just couldn't eat. If you know me, I can pretty much eat anything. It was awful. We don't expect much from Texas Roadhouse. We eaten there a few times. Nothing fancy, mediocre food and a bit loud, but when you want a moderately price steak, it this, Outback or Longhorn. Today, we called ahead, which made no difference since we still had to wait for quite sometime. Thankfully, my wife walked to the hostess and asked why so long since even with the call ahead. Turns out, they forgot to page us and took others before us. Once seared, they brought rolls but no silverware. Let the server know but still had to wait 20 mins to get silverware. In fact, my salad came before I had anything to eat it with. Ordered the fillet(medium), when it came it was well done. The manager making her rounds stopped by. I explained the steak was overdone and she agreed. To her credit she offered to redo it, but I explained we didn't have time for that. I explained it took 20 mins just to get silverware and that regardless of calling ahead her hostess never paged and sat others before us. She promised to check on this mix up but we never saw her again. No apology, discount on the meal, nothing. Just gone. Choked down my overcooked steak, paid and left. Service was mediocre at best my wife's margarita came out after the food, we had ordered our daughters food as an appetizer because she was fussy it came out 30 mins later with the entrees and it was raw! Went for dinner and enjoyed most of what we ordered. The rolls are good, but what makes them good is the butter spread used on them. Husband ordered a steak cooked medium and part of it was chewy and the rest was good. I ordered a Chicken Fried Sirloin and it was good, but fried a little too long. This place is so overhyped! Our experience was good, but not great as one would think by reading the many 'starry eyed' reviews on Google. Our burgers were OK, but nothing special. I've had better burgers at The Rail, Gunselmans, or The Brown Derby. The steak was too 'fatty' in sections as well, and the seafood selection, dismal. Our salads were average as well. I've had better at many local 'mom and pop' old school diners! I may return, if a friend or family member really wants to come here, but hopefully not for a while. read more

As a cook in a nearby restaurant, I know that a person should not cut open a steak as soon as it is off the grill. The person serving our steak makes us cut it open as soon as it hits the table. Last night I had the worst Texas Roadhouse experience ever. For context I worked at a Texas Roadhouse for 4 years and visit Texas Roadhouse locations every month. When we arrived at the location I thought it was nice that there was an outdoor waiting area and there was a 30 minutes wait which was totally fine. Once seated our service was terrible. We were sat at 645 and didn't put in our order for almost an hour 735 to be exact. Our server disappeared for almost 30 minutes and when we finally saw him again he told us our food would be out soon which we had never even put in our order. We finally got our food after an hour and a half. One of the steaks a nicer cut was super well done. I then asked for them to just take it off the check since I didn't want to stay another hour. The server kept skipping our table to check on and talked to all the other tables and when we did finally ask for something we got the wrong drinks. At the end of the night I thought they would give a discount due to almost being there 3 hours but that did not happen even though we were told we would get something. Very disappointed since I understand stuff happens but you always take care of the customer. The server told us it was the kitchen but the service was still awful. read more

This location just opened a couple weeks ago. I watched them build it from the ground up. I usually go to the one in Ridge Park Square and they are always packed and they're always LOUD and they don't even serve lunch. This one serves lunch BUT only on Friday, Saturday and Sunday though it's just as crowded and just as loud as the other one, it was well worth the wait. I ordered the herb chicken which came with two sides so I got a side salad and fresh vegetables. The wait is a little longer for this lunch than I anticipated because the salad arrived and I'm already done with it. They seem to have plenty of servers rushing about so we shall see. Chicken ultimately came out just a little bit overcharred but not burned so it was good and you know how you order mixed vegetables or fresh vegetables and they always give you broccoli and carrots where the broccoli is overcooked and the carrots are hard as rocks? It didn't happen here the broccoli was cooked to perfection and every single carrot was cooked and soft as it should be. had a great experience had great service and great servers and they have a lot of fun while you're dining they dance and they sing AS A GROUP. VERY AESTHETICALLY PLEASING. Was very glad to stop here for lunch. Everything was as perfect as perfect could be and since I dine out 4 to 6 times every single week I look for places that not only have great food, but have servers that give 100% to you as diners and about how they're treating you. We had to wait for 25 minutes for a table when we arrived at 3:30 pm. They were definitely understaffed because half of the dining room was empty. Our server/ bartender Jazz was awesome. She had guest seated at every bar stool and then she had tables to serve as well. I noticed the manager standing around talking the entire time not even thinking to be a team player and help her staff out. My steak was overcooked and my sweet potato was undercooked. Jazz handled the situation very well. The manager never came over to our table to check and see if everything was okay. So unprofessional.The music was WAY TOO LOUD. They just opened this week so it's hard to tell what this place will be like in the future. The food was good but the service was a little over the top. We had at least 12 visits to our table between the waitress, people who appeared to be managers and a bus boy. Then as we were leaving at least 5 people had to speak to us as we were exiting. Went there for dinner. Ordered the 12 ounce ribeye. The waitress brought out the 20 ounce bone in ribeye. When I told her I didn't order that before she even placed it on the table she realized her mistake said they would order me a new one, but it was gonna take almost 15 minutes for the new one to come out. I think it was poor customer service for them to make a mistake not just give me the steak that they brought out. Make me wait a whole 15 minutes after my friends already got their meal to eat mine as it was we would've been done before my steak even came out? Had I made the mistake? Waitress comes back 10 minutes later to say wifi went down but food should be coming soon. 3:45 blooming onion comes out, no marg.4:00 two salads come out, one with wrong dressing. No marg. Finally marg came out and 5 minutes later 2 other salads came. 4:30 and no entrees. People that came in after us have left and their tables have been reseated. We waited to come here a couple weeks after opening to avoid snafus. Tex Roadhouse are you listening? 4:44 entrees arrive, well done steak is pink through the middle and 4 piece catfish dinner has 3 pieces. Asked if we wanted corrections we replied we didn't have another hour to wait. Mac and cheese tastes like Krafts and marg is all ice. Manager comped a total bill for $18 and change, our disappearing waitress came back with separate checks for $28&$6. Now at 5:02 the whole meal has been comped.
