I want to begin by saying that if you have not been to Symmetry, put it in your list of places to go. It's located in Casady Square where Naifeh Jewelry used to be located. It is beautiful inside and there is plenty of space to be intimate with your dining partner. The staff is very committed to making your evening memorable. They really seem pleased to have you join them for dinner. The menu is fantastic and has something to offer for everyone. The Braised Short Rib Croquettes are deliciously unique. And if you really want to try something that will melt in your mouth, get the Lobster Cargot. Symmetry has great date night specials that offer unique pairings. I went to the Horse Soldier Bourbon four course dinner. It was reasonably priced for a one-of-a-kind experience. My wife had a filet and it was cooked great and she said it was her favorite filet she has had at a steakhouse. We had a decent but underwhelming experience here for our anniversary. Since our reservation was labeled as anniversary, they had a table set up for us with a cute little "Happy Anniversary" paper and two settings on the same side. This was a nice touch, but the restaurant was nearly empty and they still sat us so we were like 3 feet behind one of two other tables. Since we were both on the same side of the booth, we were both staring directly at the back of some lady's head, which I'm sure made both tables uncomfortable. Overall a nice gesture though. The appetizers were kinda whack. French Onion Soup - Exactly what you would expect (in a good way). Burrata Caprese - Very uninspired. Big chunks of blandness. I usually get blown away by Burrata dishes. The Hamilton has one that tastes like crack. Symmetry's Burrata tastes and feels like something I made trying to use stuff in the fridge. Nothing wrong with it, just totally boring. $49 Steak Tartare - Because I am a moron I was intrigued by this absurdly expensive appetizer. When I playfully inquired about the price, the server acted like my question was preposterous because it's locally sourced filet or something blah blah, like I was supposed to know that (she was overall pleasant though). The "table service" is just a guy cracking an egg on it and mixing it together for 10 seconds (he was pleasant too). It also gave us both serious indigestion (avoiding TMI), which is rare for me because I have an iron gut. Maybe it wasn't the tartare, but if it was some other item, that's even more sus. I ordered the pork chop and my gf ordered the sea bass. Both were pretty good and impressive both compositionally and flavor-wise. I especially liked the red & green chimichurri; it kept things interesting throughout the meal. We ordered a variety of sides which were all decent. For dessert we got a cheesecake, which was yummy and it also had "Happy Anniversary" on it, which was sweet. I actually proposed at this restaurant so I will remember it forever, the good and the bad. The ambiance and vibe are great, but some things need some tuning. I don't feel like it quite delivers at this price point, but it's close. I get that sourcing is important blah blah, but that's background noise if the fundamentals are off. I would suggest scrapping the $49 Steak Tartare entirely as it is a lie, and potentially a biohazard, in favor of a normal Steak Tartare. The Burrata also needs to wow or at least be above average. Appetizers calibrate expectations and ultimately skew the rest of the meal, both positively or negatively. I like what they're attempting to do but it's not quite there in a city with so many good options at that price point. read more

An excellent meal! I am glad we found this gem in the Village area. The restaurant is elegant and beautifully designed. It is a definite option for a special occasion. The waitress was welcoming and helpful throughout our meal. We started with the shrimp cocktail was very good, and I appreciate the portion size of 8 shrimp. Perfect for sharing. The ciabatta bread was warm and delicious, and the Caesar salad was very good as well. For our entrees, I had salmon, good flavor but a little unevenly cooked, and my husband had a filet that was flavorful and melt in your mouth delicious. We ended with the carrot cake, which we both really enjoyed. We had a hard time choosing between that and the lava cake, so we will try it next time! Another visit and another fantastic meal. If you've not been I really recommend this restaurant. The service is outstanding and it's a great date night atmosphere. There's a good wine and alcohol selection to suit any taste. This is a more special occasion place for us as it is on the expensive end of the spectrum. I had the bison tips and French onion soup which were both delicious. I'd never tried bison prepared this way and I liked it very much. The meat was tender and juicy. We walked in for dinner with another couple in August 2025 and I was instantly struck by the aesthetically pleasing interior - it certainly lives up to its name which is what distinguishes it from other upscale steakhouses. From a food perspective, everything was on par with what you would expect from a high grade steakhouse. The ribeye was perfectly cooked with requisite taste and texture and the sides were rich, decadent and perfect to share family-style. Came to Symmetry with three friends on Valentine's Day at 7 pm - peak dinner time. My friend reserved a table for the four of us and requested a booth, which was perfect because it blocked out a lot of the noise from the rest of the restaurant. We were able to converse with each other throughout the night without having to yell. Ambiance: Symmetry has elegant decor - table cloths, booth and table seatings, a full bar, and cozy seatings perfect for an intimate dinner or date night. Service: The servers were very friendly! We received our drinks and food kind of late, but I expected that since the place was packed due to it being a holiday Food: *Oyster Trio* 6 oysters - the perfect appetizer for 2 people to share. Each one was beautifully seasoned allowing us to savor the taste afterwards *Shrimp Scampi* scrumptious pasta dish with plenty of large-sized shrimp to get in every bite. The portion size is generous, linguine was cooked perfectly al dente, and the garlic butter sauce was so tasty. Applebees experience at 4 times the price. We came once before on our anniversary and enjoyed it. This time, not so much. The $17 Old Fashioned was made wrong, the salmon was full of bones, and they rushed us in and out in under an hour. My wife asked about the two fish entrees and the waiter said basically, "I don't know, I've never tried either." After the meal came, I let him know the salmon had quite a few bones and he said, "yeah, that happens - anything else I can get for you?" Funny enough, I had been here before with some friend couples, where I tried the 40-day aged ribeye and really enjoyed it--but I never wrote a review. So, I'm making sure to write one this time! For my meal, I ordered the 12 oz ribeye with garlic mashed potatoes and added truffle garlic butter on top of my steak. I also got a Caprese salad to start and finished with a chocolate cake with blackberries for dessert. Food: * Steak: Cooked to perfection--juicy, buttery, and full of flavor. I loved the truffle garlic butter on top; it really enhanced the richness of the ribeye. * Mashed Potatoes: Very good! My fiancé and I both enjoyed them, but in hindsight, I think I would have preferred Brussels sprouts or something lighter to balance the steak. * Caprese Salad: This was the most disappointing part of the meal. The tomatoes had no flavor, and the balsamic lacked the punch I was expecting. It just didn't impress me. * Chocolate Cake: A nice dessert, but a bit too sweet for my personal taste. Everything had incredible flavor and was cooked perfectly. The only downside is the shear level of oil and butter on everything. It was a little too rich for my liking. These sides alone would make me want to come back. The ambiance was good for dinner. The live music was a surprising treat. I saw some reviews say the music was too loud but we thought it was great for the weekend. Drinks were great with a large selection. Great hospitality from the staff and they are very knowledgeable too. It's a steak-driven restaurant. We learned that they get their meat from a farm in Pyror. The cows are corn-fed so the meat is more sweeter and tender. Their bone marrow is superb. The bones are bigger and you get two pieces, what a deal. Cocktails were also outstanding. I had the filet mignon and it was tender, very flavorful, and well-seasoned. However, some pieces were overcooked though. And for some reason the texture was a bit off for this cut of meat. The mac n cheese had a wonderful, velvety, and smooth texture. While the Brussels sprouts were cooked perfectly, charred but not burnt-tasting. Adjusting to our Oklahoma life, being California transplants, we found a gem in this restaurant. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality. Our servers, Tevin and Amy, were exceptional--attentive, friendly, and genuinely invested in making our dining experience memorable. We started our evening with appetizers and cocktails. The Ciabatta bread and spread, along with the Korean Duck wings, set the tone for what would be an amazing meal. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the presentation was beautiful. For our main course, we had a variety of dishes: the Caesar Salad, Pork Chop, and the special of the night--a Wagyu Steak cut topped with Lobster Oscar. Each dish was cooked to perfection. The Pork Chop was tender and juicy, the Caesar Salad crisp and fresh, and the Wagyu Steak was an indulgence we won't soon forget. The Lobster Oscar topping added a luxurious touch. The sides were just as impressive. The Garlic Mashed Potatoes, topped with Marrow Butter, were creamy and decadent. Every bite was a delight. Our meal was so exceptional that we just had to express our gratitude to the chef. Chef Glenn came out to our table, accompanied by Dave and Austin, and we had the pleasure of thanking him in person. It was clear that the passion and dedication of the entire team at Symmetry contributed to our wonderful dining experience. The service was also exceptional - Devin (sp?) described the specials in extreme detail and another server was very attentive regarding the drinks. Excellent wine and iced tea. Service for the evening was led by Amy, a seasoned veteran from the Hal Smith group. Amy was enthusiastic, engaging, and knowledgeable about both the menu and the restaurant. Our water glasses were consistently refilled, new silverware was provided between courses, and each dish was introduced in detail. Food: "Trio of Oysters" featuring Chimi Argentine, Apple Mignonette, Calabrian Romesco Each oyster offered a distinctly unique flavor profile. "Wedge Salad" with Romaine, Tomato, Pancetta, Gorgonzola, Egg, Blue Cheese, Balsamic Glaze This salad is a beautiful take on a steakhouse classic. The house-made blue cheese is generously portioned, and the warm, crisp pancetta adds a pleasing temperature contrast. Each bite begins with the freshness of lettuce, then moves into the rich, creamy blue cheese, with middle notes of tangy balsamic and finishing notes of egg, all of which balance the blue cheese's richness perfectly. The balsamic brings a lovely sweet tang to each bite. A simply fantastic salad. "Prime Cowboy 18oz" The beef at Symmetry is sourced from Lynn's of Oklahoma and is a fusion of grass- and corn-fed beef. Cooked to a perfect medium rare plus, this choice allows for optimal fat rendering. Symmetry's unique seasoning enhances the beef's flavor profile, while a brush of butter adds a lovely, nutty layer. The accompanying au poivre sauce, featuring pink peppercorns, provides a sweet, floral note that is delightful when used sparingly. "Off the Cob Cream Corn" This is one of the best sides I've ever had at a steakhouse. Each bite bursts with fresh, sweet corn flavors, leading into creamy, buttery middle notes and finishing with the nutty depth of Parmesan and a hint of fresh herbs. The flavors work in perfect harmony, making this side simply stunning and an ideal complement to the beef. "Bone Marrow Mashed Potatoes" featuring butter and bone marrow. The final side of the evening was bone marrow mashed potatoes--an opulent and decadent delight that brought a taste of ethereal richness. Bone marrow is folded into butter-infused mashed potatoes, creating a truly indulgent side. Symmetry knocked it out of the park. Our server was phenomenal, and I don't say that lightly. He did an absolutely amazing job. It was quiet for a Monday night, but there were definitely people trickling in as we were wrapping up around 7:30. The cocktails were fantastic. The banana cocktail with the brûlée'd foam on top was out of this world. You'll need to get in there with a spoon, but don't be shy. The second cocktail was smoked and came to the table in a capped decanter so I could pour it myself. I was inpatient and poured it almost immediately. I'd recommend letting it sit for a little bit to taste the smoke. Mine wasn't very smoky (my own fault). On to the food: the lobster cargot was good, but needed a little salt and garlic. But for $25 I'd eat it ten times over. The Caesar salads were your average Caesar. Nice, light dressing with freshly shaved parm on top. Our entrees were the filet with Gorgonzola butter and shrimp scampi. The filet melted in your mouth and the scampi was packed with flavor. I think I would do just the Gorgonzola next time and not as a butter. It was a little rich for me personally. Don't get me started on the sides! The asparagus was thick, grilled, and trimmed correctly so it wasn't stringy. That is attention to detail you don't see everywhere. The mashed potatoes were full of herbs and flavor, and their feature was "bone marrow mash", so we tried it. Our server scooped the bone marrow into our mash and mixed it up for us table-side. It added great flavor. We ended up getting our carrot cake to go as we had a movie to catch, but even the carrot cake was fantastic. Candied carrots on top, moist cake, and perfectly baked. We were celebrating a birthday and there was a cute card on the table signed by the staff, and at the end they offered a Polaroid picture to go inside the card. What a brilliant and unique idea. nice restaurant/ didn't realize it was up there with mahogany. ( we actually spent with tip like 350 dollars for 2 people..... we normally spend like 250 at mahogany ?) Will admit that the filet at symmetry was way better than the one at mahogany. ( might just be bc I got a 12oz at symmetry and like an 8oz at mahogany? Also symmetry uses local beef so that could be it as well?) I feel like they should copy mahogany with the complimentary truffles or something bc to spend such a large amount of money and not get some sort of token besides a card for the event you're coming out for is very lame. It was very quiet and only a few couples in the restaurant while we were there however when we arrived at 5 we were the only ones for a little while which was nice I guess. I will say / complain that when we did arrive for our reservation and were standing at the front host stand my husband had to flag someone down to seat us. So if you know you have people coming there's no reason you shouldn't be waiting for them... Our waitress was nice. Husband loved the lobster cargot & it was half off during happy hour. Got Brussel sprouts and mashed potatoes for the table. ( mashed potatoes were decent nothing amazing though & Brussel sprouts were fine) ***Will say we bought a bottle of wine to drink with dinner and it was " half off " lmao I looked up the wine we paid 45 dollars for and it sells for anywhere from 30-45 online. So telling us we were getting it " half off " was insane lol!! *** Also I didn't know but apparently my husband did and went for it ...... they charge for the glass bottled water. 7 bucks a bottle at that. And unfortunately the glasses smelled like a dog so I would never pay for the water again. Also without ice? I didn't know we had a choice in that bc I was in the bathroom at the time. Very pleased with the ambiance and the elegance that this establishment has. The service is excellent and the workers are very welcoming. The food is cooked to perfection, however I would have liked to see bigger portions as I was disappointed with my chicken once it came out. The Bone Marrow Mashed potatoes was the special side of the day and it did not disappoint, the Brussels sprouts were yummy and the drinks were strong. If you have some money to spend this is definitely the place to check out, 10/10. read more

We met some friends for dinner and really enjoyed Symmetry. I really loved the atmosphere. Cozy, dim and upscale. Service was fine. I started with a glass of cab that was nice. The house salad was pretty but wasn't tasty. I would not order it again. For my main course, I ordered a steak with asparagus and mashed potatoes as sides. The steak was well flavored but not super tender. The asparagus was not good but the mashed potatoes were delicious. Our table ordered the flourless chocolate cake and carrot cake for dessert. I tasted both and loved the carrot cake. Portion sizes were generous. I will return but will try some other items and steer away from the house salad and asparagus next time. read more
