    The pork chop was amazing!

Celebrated my Dads birthday here. Had a great experience. The service was great and the food was really good. It was a great evening.

Another visit and another fantastic meal. If you've not been I really recommend this restaurant. The service is outstanding and it's a great date night atmosphere. There's a good wine and alcohol selection to suit any taste. This is a more special occasion place for us as it is on the expensive end of the spectrum. I had the bison tips and French onion soup which were both delicious. I'd never tried bison prepared this way and I liked it very much. The meat was tender and juicy. The rest of the dishes were repeats of our last visit so I won't repeat the descriptions. We were there for a friend's anniversary and you can see that the restaurant really went above and beyond. Symmetry is a great place and gets a hearty recommendation.

We walked in for dinner with another couple in August 2025 and I was instantly struck by the aesthetically pleasing interior - it certainly lives up to its name which is what distinguishes it from other upscale steakhouses. From a food perspective, everything was on par with what you would expect from a high grade steakhouse. The ribeye was perfectly cooked with requisite taste and texture and the sides were rich, decadent and perfect to share family-style. Ended with the carrot cake and particularly enjoyed the candied carrots. The servers were attentive and professional. Would come back in a heartbeat for a special occasion!

Came to Symmetry with three friends on Valentine's Day at 7 pm - peak dinner time. My friend reserved a table for the four of us and requested a booth, which was perfect because it blocked out a lot of the noise from the rest of the restaurant. We were able to converse with each other throughout the night without having to yell. Ambiance: Symmetry has elegant decor - table cloths, booth and table seatings, a full bar, and cozy seatings perfect for an intimate dinner or date night. Service: The servers were very friendly! We received our drinks and food kind of late, but I expected that since the place was packed due to it being a holiday Food: *Oyster Trio* 6 oysters - the perfect appetizer for 2 people to share. Each one was beautifully seasoned allowing us to savor the taste afterwards *Shrimp Scampi* scrumptious pasta dish with plenty of large-sized shrimp to get in every bite. The portion size is generous, linguine was cooked perfectly al dente, and the garlic butter sauce was so tasty. I liked that the flavors were not too overpowering *Bone Marrow w/ Mashed Potatoes* We saw pictures of this online and had to order it just for the size of the bone! The sides come a la carte style and the server scraped the marrow from the bone into the potatoes and mixed it herself. This side dish was probably my favorite food of the night *Filet Mignon well-done* I'm not a huge steak person, but I do love the taste! I tried a bite and give this 5 stars...so juicy and tender *Carrot Cake* this dessert is your typical carrot cake with cream cheese frosting but with flair - added in are some candied shreds of carrot. Drinks: *Peace Pipe* delicious smoky drink flavored with a clove syrup in addition to a fun experience! This drink came with a huge ice cube in a glass and a separate bottle with the drink + smoke that was stoppered until I was ready to pour the drink in the glass. I ordered this twice because it was that good! *Puttin' on the Spritz* a refreshing citrusy and cranberry flavored spritzy drink *DePeche Mode* this drink has bitters in it along with four fruit flavors (pear, apricot, lemon, peach) which make it so fancy tasting and wonderful. I can't get enough of the craft cocktails at this place. I want to try them all! Overall, I highly recommend Symmetry for a fancy dinner to celebrate a special occasion. The seasonal cocktails are my favorite and the food and service are phenomenal. I may come back just for those bone marrow mashed potatoes and cocktails!

Symmetry was the perfect balance of great staff, amazing food, and perfect drinks. This was my first visit here and it was a great experience at the very start upon entering the restaurant. I have to recommend the truffle salmon and the brussels sprouts. Our reservation was at 5 o'clock and it was fairly empty at that time. It quickly started to fill up the closer 6 o'clock approached. We also had a birthday cake delivered to the table. It was a very worthwhile experience for all of us!

After learning this place is owned by the same folks as mahogany I was excited to try! We started with the oyster trio which left us wanting more. Then I had a 8oz filet with bone marrow mashed potatoes. All of the food was amazing. I heard someone mention their Caesar salad was bad. The ambiance here is very nice. We reserved a quiet booth and didn't have any problems hearing each other. I would go back.

This place is like a hidden gem. We stumbled upon it during our wedding anniversary staycation. We ordered a filet to share and the bone marrow because our goal was to try a few dishes at multiple places. The vibe is very date night dark and sultry, so great for a romantic time. The service was great for us too! It wasn't busy on the night we went. Our filet was well cooked to our liking and the bone marrow was good but tbh there wasn't much marrow in the bone for us. Still very flavorful. Definitely a spot we need to dedicate the night to in order to fully experience it, so it's on our list for our next nice date night!

I came to Symmetry for Valentine's Day dinner and had a great experience overall! Funny enough, I had been here before with some friend couples, where I tried the 40-day aged ribeye and really enjoyed it--but I never wrote a review. So, I'm making sure to write one this time! For my meal, I ordered the 12 oz ribeye with garlic mashed potatoes and added truffle garlic butter on top of my steak. I also got a Caprese salad to start and finished with a chocolate cake with blackberries for dessert. Food: * Steak: Cooked to perfection--juicy, buttery, and full of flavor. I loved the truffle garlic butter on top; it really enhanced the richness of the ribeye. * Mashed Potatoes: Very good! My fiancé and I both enjoyed them, but in hindsight, I think I would have preferred Brussels sprouts or something lighter to balance the steak. * Caprese Salad: This was the most disappointing part of the meal. The tomatoes had no flavor, and the balsamic lacked the punch I was expecting. It just didn't impress me. * Chocolate Cake: A nice dessert, but a bit too sweet for my personal taste. However, I knew what I was getting into, and since we split it, it was fine. Service & Experience: Service was a little slow, but considering it was a holiday, I completely understand. The restaurant was busy, and they were doing their best. Final Thoughts: Despite the underwhelming Caprese salad, everything else was great, and I will definitely be back. This place knows how to do steak right!

Made a reservation on OpenTable. We had a late arrival and they were still able to accommodate our party. The restaurant is beautiful on the inside. Love the metallic furnishings and the lanterns hanging from the ceiling. We started out with glasses of red wine. Excellent pinot noir & malbec. We listened to the list of specials offered and decided to try the bone marrow mashed potatoes along with the pork chop, the lamb and a side of asparagus. Everything had incredible flavor and was cooked perfectly. The only downside is the shear level of oil and butter on everything. It was a little too rich for my liking. All of the sides are made for 2 servings. Will definitely return to try something on the lighter side. Service was exceptional. At the end of the meal, our server offered to wrap everything up for us and split the sides between the meals. We had a wonderful time here. Cant wait to return.

We had a great experience tonight. My husband and I both started with a Cesar salad and it was delicious. We shared the bone in 16 oz with butter bone marrow topping and it was absolutely superb. We also shared the Mac and cheese and scalloped potatoes. Both of these were delicious. The mac and cheese had a smoky sweet flavor and the scalloped potatoes were just out of this world with flavor. These sides alone would make me want to come back. The ambiance was good for dinner. The live music was a surprising treat. I saw some reviews say the music was too loud but we thought it was great for the weekend. Drinks were great with a large selection. They informed us that happy hour started at 9am and they had a great selection on that as well. Three of us had club specials and one had an old fashioned. Both of these were on the happy hour list.

Tonight, my California Ladies and I experienced Symmetry for the first time, and it was nothing short of fantastic. Adjusting to our Oklahoma life, being California transplants, we found a gem in this restaurant. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality. Our servers, Tevin and Amy, were exceptional--attentive, friendly, and genuinely invested in making our dining experience memorable. We started our evening with appetizers and cocktails. The Ciabatta bread and spread, along with the Korean Duck wings, set the tone for what would be an amazing meal. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the presentation was beautiful. For our main course, we had a variety of dishes: the Caesar Salad, Pork Chop, and the special of the night--a Wagyu Steak cut topped with Lobster Oscar. Each dish was cooked to perfection. The Pork Chop was tender and juicy, the Caesar Salad crisp and fresh, and the Wagyu Steak was an indulgence we won't soon forget. The Lobster Oscar topping added a luxurious touch. The sides were just as impressive. The Garlic Mashed Potatoes, topped with Marrow Butter, were creamy and decadent. Every bite was a delight. Our meal was so exceptional that we just had to express our gratitude to the chef. Chef Glenn came out to our table, accompanied by Dave and Austin, and we had the pleasure of thanking him in person. It was clear that the passion and dedication of the entire team at Symmetry contributed to our wonderful dining experience. We left Symmetry feeling full, satisfied, and already looking forward to our next visit. If you find yourself in the area, do yourself a favor and check them out. The combination of outstanding food, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere makes it a must-visit. Though we were having such a good time that I didn't get many pictures, I'll post what I have. We can't wait to go back! Cali Gurls!

This place is truly amazing! First off, the ambience is stellar and hits you with amazing art and lighting when you first walk in. The service was also exceptional - Devin (sp?) described the specials in extreme detail and another server was very attentive regarding the drinks. Excellent wine and iced tea. So the best part is their food: incredible steaks, oyster appetizers, bread with cheese flavored dip, sautéed mushrooms and last but not least, their mashed potatoes with bone marrow (which was sublime). This may be the best steakhouse in PKC, certainly the newest - and I give it the highest possible recommendation!

Must try: T-Bone Steak and a Double Deuce Beer!…read more Why: I've been craving steak for a few weeks and when I arrived at OKC a few people recommended Cattlemen's. Ordered a medium rare steak and it was juicy and tender. It was also a large steak. Meal came with a house salad, baked potato, bread and a roll. I was also going to order Lamb Fries as an appetizer, but the waitress was able to let me try one piece on the house - great service! It would have been way too much food for one person. I washed it all down with their refreshing Double Deuce Beer. Everything was flavorful and satisfying - the steak hit the spot for me. Notes: It was a quick drive from downtown. Right when I walked in I was welcomed by hostesses and seated immediately. Everyone was warm and friendly. Def felt historic and legendary inside with their table booths, photos, and decor. A great hearty meal for my last night in OKC!

When I travel for work, I make a point of seeking out local institutions rather than chains. On a…read moreWednesday evening in June, after wrapping up some work in Norman, I drove up to Oklahoma City's Stockyards City to look around. While standing in a western wear store across the street, I called a friend who had visited Oklahoma a few months earlier. He told me that when he was there, he crossed the street to Cattlemen's and had a pretty good steak. That was all the convincing I needed. I knew Cattlemen's reputation before I walked in. If you're familiar with the friendly rivalry between Fort Worth and Oklahoma City, you've probably heard people argue over whose Stockyards are better. I figured if there was one place that could make Oklahoma City's case, it would be Cattlemen's. I took a seat at the counter rather than waiting for a table. Dining alone and in a bit of a hurry, I assumed it would be the quickest way to get a quality meal before heading back south. The atmosphere felt less like a modern steakhouse and more like an old-school diner crossed with a steakhouse. Honestly, I liked that part. It felt authentic. Unfortunately, the experience never quite matched the reputation. The restaurant was busy for a Wednesday night, and while my waitress was friendly and professional throughout the meal, service felt stretched thin. It took longer than expected to place my order, longer than expected to receive my food, and there was a noticeable sense that the restaurant was operating behind pace. Some employees appeared to be working nonstop while others seemed considerably less occupied. At one point, someone who appeared to be a manager was helping run food. I started with a salad and the house creamy Parmesan dressing. Good enough. What surprised me were the "croutons." Nobody explained them, so I expected actual croutons. Instead, they arrived as thick slices of toasted bread that were buttery, garlicky, crunchy, and absolutely delicious. The portion was generous and, looking back, I probably should have been dipping them into the dressing the entire time. For the main course, I ordered the 16-ounce ribeye special. The waitress first suggested upgrading the beef and then mentioned the larger special. I passed on the beef upgrade but opted for the larger cut because thicker steaks generally hold medium-rare better than thinner ones. To Cattlemen's credit, they nailed the temperature. The steak arrived exactly medium-rare. The problem was everything else. For a steakhouse with this kind of reputation, I expected a memorable steak. Instead, it arrived warm rather than hot, with very little crust, char, seasoning, butter, or flavor. It wasn't bad. It simply wasn't remarkable. Salt and pepper helped, but not enough to elevate it. The fries were equally forgettable and arrived without seasoning. What surprised me most was that the bread and croutons were more memorable than the steak. My bill was around $50 before tip, including nothing more than water to drink. At that price point, I expected to leave impressed. Instead, I left disappointed. Not angry. Not offended. Just disappointed. The strongest emotion I felt walking back to my truck was regret. Regret that I spent the time. Regret that I spent the money. Regret that I chose Cattlemen's over one of several other options I had considered. That's a tough thing to write because I wanted to like this place. I enjoy supporting local institutions. I appreciate history. I appreciate restaurants that have become part of a city's identity. But if I find myself back in Oklahoma City tomorrow and someone offers me a choice between Cattlemen's and a chain steakhouse like Texas Roadhouse, I'm choosing Texas Roadhouse without hesitation. Better value. Better service. Better consistency. Better overall experience. Maybe I caught Cattlemen's on an off night. Based on its reputation, I'd almost like to believe that's the case. But all I can review is the meal I had, and for me, the most memorable part of dinner at one of Oklahoma City's most famous steakhouses was the bread.

The fish had crispy skin and was moist, flaky, and well seasoned. The broad bean mixture served with it was equally delicious. We brought a business guest here for a meeting, and unfortunately the experience started on a disappointing note. When we ordered drinks, we were told several items listed on the menu were unavailable. While shortages happen, it immediately left the impression that things were not running smoothly. We began with the blue cheese chips, a dish the restaurant has long been known for. To our surprise, they arrived completely cold, as though they had just come out of the refrigerator. Our guest didn't even touch them. I then ordered the halibut, which had previously been one of my favorite entrées. This time, the fish was rubbery and overcooked, and the shrimp risotto was dry with virtually no broth or sauce to bring the dish together. Overall, the entire experience felt lackluster and disappointing. More than anything, I was embarrassed that we had chosen this restaurant to host an important business guest. It's unfortunate to see a place that once felt so special fall so far short of expectations.

We tried their version of a salmon sushi roll, it wasn't bad. Rice was fried. Our steaks were so flavorful and tender! We decided to try the onion rings and green chili cream corn as our sides. I wished the corn was a little sweet. Onion rings were good but not the best I've had. Old fashioned cocktail was on point though! They delivered an anniversary multi-layered red velvet cake. Pretty tasty. I would definitely return and order the same steaks just with different sides.

From Oklahoma City it's less than an hour drive, and before long you know you've left city life behind. As the old saying goes, never judge a book by its cover -- and the same applies here. From the outside the building is pretty modest, but once you step inside you immediately get that cozy, homey feeling. Another unique feature: the restaurant is only open Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 4:30-9:00 PM, and there are no menus. Your server simply tells you the options: * 8 oz or 12 oz Sirloin * Prime Rib * Rib Dinner * Chicken * Smoked Sausage * Salad Bar * Baked Potato, Sweet Potato, or Fries In my opinion, this is a classic approach -- keep the menu simple so the food and experience can shine. Based on reviews I had read on Facebook and Yelp, the advice was to arrive early or expect a line. Since this was our 20th anniversary dinner, we arrived about 30 minutes before opening and waited comfortably in the parking lot. Good move -- we were seated right when the doors opened at 4:30. The atmosphere inside is dimly lit and quaint, giving it a relaxed small-town steakhouse vibe. Our server Virginia greeted us quickly, took our drink order, and we both ordered the 12 oz sirloin with baked potatoes. The salad bar is simple but well done. One detail I loved: refrigerated salad plates -- in my opinion that's the only proper way to serve a side salad. The offerings included iceberg lettuce, tomatoes, onions, shredded carrots, cucumbers, chives, croutons, and dressings like blue cheese, French/Catalina, and ranch. They also offer fried okra and pinto beans, which adds a nice Oklahoma touch. Instead of rolls, each diner receives a barbecue rib to start the meal -- now that's a unique and delicious idea. Our steaks arrived shortly after. I ordered mine medium rare, my wife went with medium rare plus, and both were excellent. The first bite had that unmistakable mesquite flavor, and the seasoning was spot on. Honestly, we probably didn't need the 12 oz steaks -- neither of us finished them. Could I have? Sure. But why be miserable? The meal was outstanding and exactly what we were hoping for on a special night. The only small disappointment was that there are no dessert options, but that's hardly a deal breaker. Final thoughts: Ken's Steak & Ribs is absolutely worth the trip. It takes a little planning because of their limited hours, but if you're looking for a classic Oklahoma steakhouse experience, this place delivers. We'll definitely be back.

They open at 4:30 and there were just a few tables left. The venue is in an old vintage building so common across small town Oklahoma. It's definitely casual with a very relaxed atmosphere. There is no menu and the offerings are limited: prime rib, sirloin steak and ribs. There is a wonderful salad bar. The salad is cold, as are the plates. On the salad bar is fried Okra and brown beans. They also offer a complimentary rib for each diner. The rib was very good. I ordered the sirloin. It was cooked to order and was flavorful. Sirloin is not a cut I would order if given options. Wish they had filet, T-bone and ribeye on the menu. Jan ordered the prime rib. It was nice and she enjoyed it. Texas Toast is served with the meal. It was nice to do something different. We enjoyed the meal. The hospitality was exceptional. The service very good. The prices are moderate. They do not serve alcoholic beverages.
