We had a decent but underwhelming experience here for our anniversary. Since our reservation was labeled as anniversary, they had a table set up for us with a cute little "Happy Anniversary" paper and two settings on the same side. This was a nice touch, but the restaurant was nearly empty and they still sat us so we were like 3 feet behind one of two other tables. Since we were both on the same side of the booth, we were both staring directly at the back of some lady's head, which I'm sure made both tables uncomfortable. Overall a nice gesture though. The appetizers were kinda whack. French Onion Soup - Exactly what you would expect (in a good way). Burrata Caprese - Very uninspired. Big chunks of blandness. I usually get blown away by Burrata dishes. The Hamilton has one that tastes like crack. Symmetry's Burrata tastes and feels like something I made trying to use stuff in the fridge. Nothing wrong with it, just totally boring. $49 Steak Tartare - Because I am a moron I was intrigued by this absurdly expensive appetizer. When I playfully inquired about the price, the server acted like my question was preposterous because it's locally sourced filet or something blah blah, like I was supposed to know that (she was overall pleasant though). The "table service" is just a guy cracking an egg on it and mixing it together for 10 seconds (he was pleasant too). It also gave us both serious indigestion (avoiding TMI), which is rare for me because I have an iron gut. Maybe it wasn't the tartare, but if it was some other item, that's even more sus. I ordered the pork chop and my gf ordered the sea bass. Both were pretty good and impressive both compositionally and flavor-wise. I especially liked the red & green chimichurri; it kept things interesting throughout the meal. We ordered a variety of sides which were all decent. For dessert we got a cheesecake, which was yummy and it also had "Happy Anniversary" on it, which was sweet. I actually proposed at this restaurant so I will remember it forever, the good and the bad. The ambiance and vibe are great, but some things need some tuning. I don't feel like it quite delivers at this price point, but it's close. I get that sourcing is important blah blah, but that's background noise if the fundamentals are off. I would suggest scrapping the $49 Steak Tartare entirely as it is a lie, and potentially a biohazard, in favor of a normal Steak Tartare. The Burrata also needs to wow or at least be above average. Appetizers calibrate expectations and ultimately skew the rest of the meal, both positively or negatively. I like what they're attempting to do but it's not quite there in a city with so many good options at that price point.

An excellent meal! I am glad we found this gem in the Village area. The restaurant is elegant and beautifully designed. It is a definite option for a special occasion. The waitress was welcoming and helpful throughout our meal. We started with the shrimp cocktail was very good, and I appreciate the portion size of 8 shrimp. Perfect for sharing. The ciabatta bread was warm and delicious, and the Caesar salad was very good as well. For our entrees, I had salmon, good flavor but a little unevenly cooked, and my husband had a filet that was flavorful and melt in your mouth delicious. We ended with the carrot cake, which we both really enjoyed. We had a hard time choosing between that and the lava cake, so we will try it next time! We had an overall wonderful experience at Symmetry!

Another visit and another fantastic meal. If you've not been I really recommend this restaurant. The service is outstanding and it's a great date night atmosphere. There's a good wine and alcohol selection to suit any taste. This is a more special occasion place for us as it is on the expensive end of the spectrum. I had the bison tips and French onion soup which were both delicious. I'd never tried bison prepared this way and I liked it very much. The meat was tender and juicy. The rest of the dishes were repeats of our last visit so I won't repeat the descriptions. We were there for a friend's anniversary and you can see that the restaurant really went above and beyond. Symmetry is a great place and gets a hearty recommendation.

We walked in for dinner with another couple in August 2025 and I was instantly struck by the aesthetically pleasing interior - it certainly lives up to its name which is what distinguishes it from other upscale steakhouses. From a food perspective, everything was on par with what you would expect from a high grade steakhouse. The ribeye was perfectly cooked with requisite taste and texture and the sides were rich, decadent and perfect to share family-style. Ended with the carrot cake and particularly enjoyed the candied carrots. The servers were attentive and professional. Would come back in a heartbeat for a special occasion!

Came to Symmetry with three friends on Valentine's Day at 7 pm - peak dinner time. My friend reserved a table for the four of us and requested a booth, which was perfect because it blocked out a lot of the noise from the rest of the restaurant. We were able to converse with each other throughout the night without having to yell. Ambiance: Symmetry has elegant decor - table cloths, booth and table seatings, a full bar, and cozy seatings perfect for an intimate dinner or date night. Service: The servers were very friendly! We received our drinks and food kind of late, but I expected that since the place was packed due to it being a holiday Food: *Oyster Trio* 6 oysters - the perfect appetizer for 2 people to share. Each one was beautifully seasoned allowing us to savor the taste afterwards *Shrimp Scampi* scrumptious pasta dish with plenty of large-sized shrimp to get in every bite. The portion size is generous, linguine was cooked perfectly al dente, and the garlic butter sauce was so tasty. I liked that the flavors were not too overpowering *Bone Marrow w/ Mashed Potatoes* We saw pictures of this online and had to order it just for the size of the bone! The sides come a la carte style and the server scraped the marrow from the bone into the potatoes and mixed it herself. This side dish was probably my favorite food of the night *Filet Mignon well-done* I'm not a huge steak person, but I do love the taste! I tried a bite and give this 5 stars...so juicy and tender *Carrot Cake* this dessert is your typical carrot cake with cream cheese frosting but with flair - added in are some candied shreds of carrot. Drinks: *Peace Pipe* delicious smoky drink flavored with a clove syrup in addition to a fun experience! This drink came with a huge ice cube in a glass and a separate bottle with the drink + smoke that was stoppered until I was ready to pour the drink in the glass. I ordered this twice because it was that good! *Puttin' on the Spritz* a refreshing citrusy and cranberry flavored spritzy drink *DePeche Mode* this drink has bitters in it along with four fruit flavors (pear, apricot, lemon, peach) which make it so fancy tasting and wonderful. I can't get enough of the craft cocktails at this place. I want to try them all! Overall, I highly recommend Symmetry for a fancy dinner to celebrate a special occasion. The seasonal cocktails are my favorite and the food and service are phenomenal. I may come back just for those bone marrow mashed potatoes and cocktails!

Symmetry was the perfect balance of great staff, amazing food, and perfect drinks. This was my first visit here and it was a great experience at the very start upon entering the restaurant. I have to recommend the truffle salmon and the brussels sprouts. Our reservation was at 5 o'clock and it was fairly empty at that time. It quickly started to fill up the closer 6 o'clock approached. We also had a birthday cake delivered to the table. It was a very worthwhile experience for all of us!

    The pork chop was amazing!

Celebrated my Dads birthday here. Had a great experience. The service was great and the food was really good. It was a great evening.

After learning this place is owned by the same folks as mahogany I was excited to try! We started with the oyster trio which left us wanting more. Then I had a 8oz filet with bone marrow mashed potatoes. All of the food was amazing. I heard someone mention their Caesar salad was bad. The ambiance here is very nice. We reserved a quiet booth and didn't have any problems hearing each other. I would go back.

This place is like a hidden gem. We stumbled upon it during our wedding anniversary staycation. We ordered a filet to share and the bone marrow because our goal was to try a few dishes at multiple places. The vibe is very date night dark and sultry, so great for a romantic time. The service was great for us too! It wasn't busy on the night we went. Our filet was well cooked to our liking and the bone marrow was good but tbh there wasn't much marrow in the bone for us. Still very flavorful. Definitely a spot we need to dedicate the night to in order to fully experience it, so it's on our list for our next nice date night!

I came to Symmetry for Valentine's Day dinner and had a great experience overall! Funny enough, I had been here before with some friend couples, where I tried the 40-day aged ribeye and really enjoyed it--but I never wrote a review. So, I'm making sure to write one this time! For my meal, I ordered the 12 oz ribeye with garlic mashed potatoes and added truffle garlic butter on top of my steak. I also got a Caprese salad to start and finished with a chocolate cake with blackberries for dessert. Food: * Steak: Cooked to perfection--juicy, buttery, and full of flavor. I loved the truffle garlic butter on top; it really enhanced the richness of the ribeye. * Mashed Potatoes: Very good! My fiancé and I both enjoyed them, but in hindsight, I think I would have preferred Brussels sprouts or something lighter to balance the steak. * Caprese Salad: This was the most disappointing part of the meal. The tomatoes had no flavor, and the balsamic lacked the punch I was expecting. It just didn't impress me. * Chocolate Cake: A nice dessert, but a bit too sweet for my personal taste. However, I knew what I was getting into, and since we split it, it was fine. Service & Experience: Service was a little slow, but considering it was a holiday, I completely understand. The restaurant was busy, and they were doing their best. Final Thoughts: Despite the underwhelming Caprese salad, everything else was great, and I will definitely be back. This place knows how to do steak right!

Made a reservation on OpenTable. We had a late arrival and they were still able to accommodate our party. The restaurant is beautiful on the inside. Love the metallic furnishings and the lanterns hanging from the ceiling. We started out with glasses of red wine. Excellent pinot noir & malbec. We listened to the list of specials offered and decided to try the bone marrow mashed potatoes along with the pork chop, the lamb and a side of asparagus. Everything had incredible flavor and was cooked perfectly. The only downside is the shear level of oil and butter on everything. It was a little too rich for my liking. All of the sides are made for 2 servings. Will definitely return to try something on the lighter side. Service was exceptional. At the end of the meal, our server offered to wrap everything up for us and split the sides between the meals. We had a wonderful time here. Cant wait to return.

We had a great experience tonight. My husband and I both started with a Cesar salad and it was delicious. We shared the bone in 16 oz with butter bone marrow topping and it was absolutely superb. We also shared the Mac and cheese and scalloped potatoes. Both of these were delicious. The mac and cheese had a smoky sweet flavor and the scalloped potatoes were just out of this world with flavor. These sides alone would make me want to come back. The ambiance was good for dinner. The live music was a surprising treat. I saw some reviews say the music was too loud but we thought it was great for the weekend. Drinks were great with a large selection. They informed us that happy hour started at 9am and they had a great selection on that as well. Three of us had club specials and one had an old fashioned. Both of these were on the happy hour list.

Ordered a medium rare steak and it was juicy and tender. It was also a large steak. Meal came with a house salad, baked potato, bread and a roll. I was also going to order Lamb Fries as an appetizer, but the waitress was able to let me try one piece on the house - great service! It would have been way too much food for one person. I washed it all down with their refreshing Double Deuce Beer. Everything was flavorful and satisfying - the steak hit the spot for me. Notes: It was a quick drive from downtown. Right when I walked in I was welcomed by hostesses and seated immediately. Everyone was warm and friendly. Def felt historic and legendary inside with their table booths, photos, and decor. The breakfast options and classic cuts are solid, and you can really feel the tradition in the place. My only real gripe was that my lunch steak came out medium-well when I asked for medium-rare, and it took a bit of flagging someone down to grab A.1. and refill my water since they were slamming through a big rush. Even with the temp being a little off, the flavor was still good and the friendly charm kept the visit really pleasant. The historic, nostalgic charm and the genuinely friendly hospitality are what make this iconic spot so enjoyable. The lamb fries were fried to a perfect golden crisp, the breakfast menu is legendary for a reason, and the whole restaurant carries that authentic western heritage vibe that is super hard to find these days. On top of that, the servers treat you like family from the moment you sit down.

Redrock Canyon Grill - Lake Hefner…read more First visit--and I can confidently say this place just earned a spot in our regular date night rotation. We walked in to a packed house, which is always a good sign, but were seated immediately. From there, the experience never missed a beat. Beverly took care of us and was outstanding--friendly, attentive, and genuinely engaged. You can tell when someone enjoys what they do, and it shows. We started with margaritas, and when Beverly said they were "perfect," she wasn't overselling it. Smooth, well-balanced, and served ice cold. We're both olive fans, so of course we asked for extras--and they delivered without hesitation. Going in, we made a deal: appetizers or dessert--not both. After hearing about the pineapple upside-down cake with vanilla ice cream, that decision was made pretty quickly. For the main course, Beverly walked us through the menu and the weekly specials: * Rainbow trout with roasted peppers and cucumber salad * 14 oz peppercorn crusted steak with mashed potatoes, broccoli & parmesan I know my wife--steak was the obvious choice for her. I went with the trout. Both dishes were excellent. The trout was cooked perfectly with a light, flavorful sauce that didn't overpower the fish, and the vegetables were fresh and well-prepared. The steak was cooked just right, full of flavor, and paired perfectly with creamy mashed potatoes and broccoli finished with parmesan. What really elevated the night was the hospitality. Kirsten, the manager, stopped by to check on us and took the time to have a genuine conversation. She shared details about patio seating and upcoming live music nights, which we're already planning to come back for. Then came a surprise--she graciously covered our dessert. A classy move that didn't go unnoticed. And that pineapple upside-down cake? Warm, soft, topped with melting vanilla ice cream... absolutely worth skipping the appetizers for. The Bottom Line: Great food, exceptional service, and a relaxed but polished atmosphere right on Lake Hefner. Whether it's your first visit or your tenth, this is the kind of place that makes you want to come back. Highly recommend for a date night or a nice evening out.

From Oklahoma City it's less than an hour drive, and before long you know you've left city life behind. As the old saying goes, never judge a book by its cover -- and the same applies here. From the outside the building is pretty modest, but once you step inside you immediately get that cozy, homey feeling. Another unique feature: the restaurant is only open Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 4:30-9:00 PM, and there are no menus. Your server simply tells you the options: * 8 oz or 12 oz Sirloin * Prime Rib * Rib Dinner * Chicken * Smoked Sausage * Salad Bar * Baked Potato, Sweet Potato, or Fries In my opinion, this is a classic approach -- keep the menu simple so the food and experience can shine. Based on reviews I had read on Facebook and Yelp, the advice was to arrive early or expect a line. Since this was our 20th anniversary dinner, we arrived about 30 minutes before opening and waited comfortably in the parking lot. Good move -- we were seated right when the doors opened at 4:30. The atmosphere inside is dimly lit and quaint, giving it a relaxed small-town steakhouse vibe. Our server Virginia greeted us quickly, took our drink order, and we both ordered the 12 oz sirloin with baked potatoes. The salad bar is simple but well done. One detail I loved: refrigerated salad plates -- in my opinion that's the only proper way to serve a side salad. The offerings included iceberg lettuce, tomatoes, onions, shredded carrots, cucumbers, chives, croutons, and dressings like blue cheese, French/Catalina, and ranch. They also offer fried okra and pinto beans, which adds a nice Oklahoma touch. Instead of rolls, each diner receives a barbecue rib to start the meal -- now that's a unique and delicious idea. Our steaks arrived shortly after. I ordered mine medium rare, my wife went with medium rare plus, and both were excellent. The first bite had that unmistakable mesquite flavor, and the seasoning was spot on. Honestly, we probably didn't need the 12 oz steaks -- neither of us finished them. Could I have? Sure. But why be miserable? The meal was outstanding and exactly what we were hoping for on a special night. The only small disappointment was that there are no dessert options, but that's hardly a deal breaker. Final thoughts: Ken's Steak & Ribs is absolutely worth the trip. It takes a little planning because of their limited hours, but if you're looking for a classic Oklahoma steakhouse experience, this place delivers. We'll definitely be back.

They open at 4:30 and there were just a few tables left. The venue is in an old vintage building so common across small town Oklahoma. It's definitely casual with a very relaxed atmosphere. There is no menu and the offerings are limited: prime rib, sirloin steak and ribs. There is a wonderful salad bar. The salad is cold, as are the plates. On the salad bar is fried Okra and brown beans. They also offer a complimentary rib for each diner. The rib was very good. I ordered the sirloin. It was cooked to order and was flavorful. Sirloin is not a cut I would order if given options. Wish they had filet, T-bone and ribeye on the menu. Jan ordered the prime rib. It was nice and she enjoyed it. Texas Toast is served with the meal. It was nice to do something different. We enjoyed the meal. The hospitality was exceptional. The service very good. The prices are moderate. They do not serve alcoholic beverages.
