I get what I expect when I eat here. Pros: the staff is so friendly and accommodating, Texas Roadhouse hires and trains them well. Food is relatively inexpensive and you get a lot of bang for your buck. The rolls and cinnamon butter are always an attraction, and their mashed potatoes are real! Having Heinz ketchup is the icing on the cake. Cons: their house steak sauce is pretty nasty and they really skimp on the amount of cinnamon butter you get. The cheese on my chopped steak was not completely melted. Summary: I wanted to rate my meal a 3.5. The latest addition to Texas Roadhouse is pretty much for the most part the same you would see in their chain restaurants. Take out is available. Inside they have a full bar, a dining area, and a refrigerator where you can choose your own steak for them to prepare. Once seated you are served warm rolls with honey butter and offered peanuts. This location is only open for lunch on weekends, however the early bird specials only run Mon-Thurs until 5. Other locations such as Bridgeville run this special daily. The reason for this change is that one is privately owned and the other is corporate. If trying to grab a lunch deal like that is of importance to you then I would advise you to go to another location. They have a full bar here and interesting decor. We had a very friendly and helpful waitress to help us with the menu and order our appetizer. With me being a member of their VIP club from time to time I will get a coupon entitling me to a free appetizer or certain side as long as I make a regular price meal purchase. My girlfriend and I decided to try the sliced cheesy baked potato with bacon. It comes with a choice of sour cream or dressing. The appetizer was very good-a little on the salty side due to the bacon but very generous that we each took some home with us. We each had the chicken with portobella mushrooms with gravy, a side of steamed vegetables and a tossed salad. By all means the salad is their signature item and it is made fresh daily. I would take that over anything else they have here. We got our food fairly quickly. The chicken was a large piece but very flavorful. The steamed vegetables consisted of broccoli and carrots. You can pay directly on the machine at your table if paying by card. The waitress walked me through the process. Cash is also accepted. Restrooms AKA "outhouse" is located in the back. Texas Roadhouse has only been open a month but given its locale will do quite well here. First off let me start off by saying we have eaten at Texas Roadhouse many times, but this time we ate at the Robinson location and our experience was not so good. My wife had a glass of wine and I ordered an original Margarita, and it tasted like Kool aid. So, I did an upgrade to a Legend Margarita. The glass was filled over the top with ice. Three or four sips it was gone. I asked to speak to the manager (Holly) told her my complaint about the drink and Holly told me it was Roadhouse policy to fill the glass all the way with ice and measure the alcohol which due to the ice all the way to the rim I may have gotten 4-5 sips of liquid and it was gone. I did not care about the price nor was I looking for a freebie, I just wanted what I paid for which I did not get. No complaints on the food. read more

This is a newer Texas Roadhouse, I seen to recall seeing it being built and I recently stopped in to try it. There were two of us and we got there just before 6PM, but there was already a wait. This place sure seems to be popular, I don't know why though. Once seated, I tried their yeast roll with butter... it was decent, but far from anything I would crave. Next was to check out the menu and it looked interesting, with lots of tasty looking items. The rattlesnake bites make a great start, but they're mostly cheese with jalapeño chopped up and mixed inside.... Tasty, but definitely not healthy. Next was a cup of chili and it was decent. Next was the starter salad; again, it was good too, but rather basic looking. The server told me they make their own dressings, so I got Thousand Island for the first time in about 20 years and I really enjoyed it. I ordered their smallest filet and when ordering, I asked the server for medium rare plus... he said they don't have that temperature as an option, so he suggested medium rare... I said just stick with medium. Well, once it arrive, it was close to well done (ridiculous!). I pointed it out to the server and he did offer to make me a new one, but I really don't want that, I would prefer it's done right the first time. Afterall, it's a steak place, they should know how to properly cook steak! I will say that the baked potato was really good though! Overall, it was just decent, but far from anything special. I've been to different Texas Roadhouse restaurants in the past (VA and here in PA) and have to say that I have yet to understand what it is that people raved about regarding this place... it's slightly better than Outback, but FAR from the quality, flavor, consistency, and experience you get at a Capital Grille, Eddie V's, Flemings, etc... the real chophouses. After having a conversation with the owner Sean he was very apologetic and sincere. He assured that he will have a conversation with the supervisor and hopefully she will take this as a learning opportunity which is what a good manager would do. While her behavior was inappropriate I agree with Sean. I hope to give this location a second chance. Tonight we had the lovely experience of meeting a manager in this establishment named Marr. I would love to say Marr deescalated our issue but the only thing she did was escalate. We went to dinner with our family. Most of us got some sort of meat that is cooked to a temperature upon request. When the food arrived 45 minutes after ordering the server (who is at no fault) asked those with steaks to cut and make sure they are cooked correctly. Our mothers was still raw in the middle. The manager actually checked in with us as soon as the server stepped away to grab something and our mother also mentioned her steak was raw. This was the only time she checked in. They took it back to cook again. It comes back and it was still raw to which our mother lost her appetite. My burger that I asked to be well done was charred on the outside and medium on the inside. While I tolerated it, I did not care to finish. Another steak at the table had 1/4 of fat which Marr claims is "marbling". We were still in okay spirits until we had Marr come to the table. Our mother was not pleased at all and wanted the other steak taken off. Marr said "well you've eaten half and we took the filet off" never mentioning any other kind of resolution. Our mother again explained this was not a good meal and she did not want to pay for the steak. Marr says "okay I will call the cops then". Mind you none of us raised our voices, made any kind of threats, or said we were never going to pay our bill. Like okay this is the way Marr is able to resolve basic issues as a manager? The cops came and made a report. They disclosed they have multiple reports with this managers name on it as this is a regular occurrence with her. As we were leaving Marr says "it's not my fault y'all couldn't afford your food" (crazy because we paid for it and still tipped the server) which that was very uncalled for and our issue was the fact that most of our meat was undercooked. After reading reviews it seems this manager Marr has been an issue and a big reason as to why your guests are dissatisfied. read more

This is a new location, and the team are already great. They have friendly staff and it is a wonderful experience. It was definitely worth our 30 minute drive to come here. We had the chance to meet Sean, one of the owners because he was this whirlwind cleaning tables and doing support to the front of the business. This time I ordered a filet medalions with extra mushroom sauce and when I got home, there was no mushroom sauce at all.(who wants to eat dry steak) So I didn't eat it because that's not how its supposed to come. We came on opening day and so it was understandably busy. That said, the service was exceptional. Our waiter was great, gave personal recommendations and frequently check in on the table. Loved the booth high chairs they had for my toddler. The restaurant was very clean - as I'd expect for opening day. Very fun atmosphere but almost too loud to hear each other talk at the table. The food was good, not great. Don't get me wrong, I could make a meal out of the amazing rolls and cinnamon butter alone, they never disappoint. But my entree was just okay. I got the herb chicken and green beans. Both had good flavor but were way too salty, so much so I couldn't finish. My son absolutely loved the beef tips though, and my dad enjoyed his steak. The waitress here are very caddy. Our older gentleman Ed was PHENOMENAL. He took care of us realllll good. Love that man and would return just based off of him alone. He made sure we were STACKED with that scrum bread, peanuts, and crisp refills. I would also like to give an honorable mention to Anthony. He was the server in the section next to us and was very chatty with us. He also made sure to give the birthday boy next to us a very special birthday and a very authentic southern YEE-HAW!! However, there was QUITE the damper on our otherwise wonderful dining experience. The hostesses(ones name started with an "E") and a certain waitress (who's name started with an "A") were quite rude. Considering it's a job that is very customer focused, you wouldn't expect the workers there to talk negatively about the patrons. Very disappointed that this seems to be permitted at this location. Glaring at customers and talking poorly about them while walking past their table is NOT acceptable. At the very least, they could wait until the guests are gone to partake in such dismal activities. Won't be returning soon based on how this dimmed the experience, however, if you decide to venture in, make sure to ask to be in either Ed or Anthony's sections.
