Food is consistent but pricey compared to other chains. The problem with this place is the cleanliness of the bar. The last two times it has been filthy. This time there were parts of food and crumbs everywhere. I watched a couple leave after eating and the bartenders did not wipe down anything. We came here to celebrate a birthday and had a lovely server/waiter named Patrick. He was prompt with bringing drinks and taking our order. We enjoyed the complementary table bread and butter. We had a round of soups and salads along with the spicy chicken bites for appetizers. We all loved the chicken bites the most with their Asian/fruity flair and a kick of heat. I thought the shrimp and lobster chowder was light on the seafood and heavy on the corn, though still flavorful. For my entree, I had an 8oz NY strip with a loaded baked potato. Both were phenomenal and cooked perfectly. I discreetly mentioned the birthday we were celebrating and our server brought out a surprise sundae with a candle. This was so yummy! I went to LongHorn Steakhouse with my family just to compare with Texas Roadhouse lol. I was surprised with how great it was. The ambiance was definitely calmer and less chaotic. The service was good-- nothing special. The food was yummy. Everything was great. The sweet potatoes had a lot if sugar in them but I'm not sure I hate that. Lol The salad was good but I wasn't a huge fan. I eggs, bacon and french dressing if you know what I mean. The steak was one if the juiciest steaks I have ever had. I'm not a huge fan of the seasoning and it did have a lot of black pepper but the steak was definitely cooked perfect!!! I am glad I gave LongHorn a shot and would definitely do it again. read more

My friends and I stopped in to LongHorn Steakhouse for dinner on a Saturday night. We had been outside in the rain all afternoon at my nieces baby shower. We were tired and hungry. We were seated within five minutes. Our server came by roughly 7-8 minutes later. We all had decided what we wanted for dinner, so we ordered. I ordered the fillet with asparagus and a side salad. I kept debating whether to order the cheaper steak, but I knew I wanted the highest quality of beef, so I went with the fillet. The salad was fresh and helped ease the hunger pains in my stomach. When the steak arrived, I cut into it and was so pleased. It was cooked just as I requested, medium. It was tender and juicy and needed no steak sauce (which I normally use). The asparagus was also cooked to perfection and had seasoning that enhanced the flavor. I ate half my meal and took the rest back to the hotel and flew it home to Jacksonville the next morning (direct flight) and had it for dinner. It was just as good the next night! Barely spoke to us at all, was not nice at all for what you pay to eat, So we left no tip. The girl throws are change to our bill on the floor and smirks after. We usually enjoy our visit to the Robinson Town Centre location but our dinner experience last evening was way below stellar. First, the waiter brought my wife a glass of water. When he got to our table, he remembered that she didn't want a lemon in it. He said it was habit and then proceeded to stick his fingers in the glass to fish it out. As he was doing that he realized he probably shouldn't be. Then he told us the complimentary bread was in oven and would be just a few minutes. Later, he served all the new diners around us their bread and drinks while he forgot about our table. When he brought out our meals I asked if there was any bread available. He snickered and said he would get some for our table. To top off the meal, the Longhorn salmon dinner I had ordered was overcooked and top of it had areas that were crispy, hard and charred. That's the first time I've ordered that meal and been disappointed. At today's dinner costs, it will be a long time before we consider going back, especially with the choices available. read more

My Dad and I enjoyed Sunday lunch at LongHorn. Restaurant wasn't busy. We were seated promptly and had an excellent waitress. I ordered the Salmon and sweet potato it was 10/10. The wild rice is the perfect pairing with it. Also, highly recommend asking the staff for brown sugar butter if you order a sweet potato here (trust me you'll thank me). It's been a long time since we've been here. The last few times, the wait wasn't worth the time or money. Overall I would come back again but know what to order. The wings appetizer was very good. The flavor and jiucy-ness was on point. I ordered the renegade steak with shrimp combo. Since making our own steaks at home, it's very hard to beat. The steak itself was just ok. There could have been more flavor. The shrimp were decent but hard to get off the skewers. I also got a Ceasars salad which I mostly took home, as well as the loaded baked potato. It's annoying paying extra for sides that cost very little to make, such as the mac and cheese. While it was good, the up charge doesn't make sense. Same with the $3.39 price for each soft drink that costs cents to make. Luckily we had gift cards, otherwise would not have splurged. The parmesan crusted chicken was actually the best thing the table ordered. Frozen fries are always a miss for me as well. Our waiter was young but very attentive and knowledgeable. read more

My Mom and I came in for a nice dinner. We were seated without waiting on a Thursday evening at about 6:00pm. Our server was very attentive. We were seated in a quiet area, which was great, as we are both hard of hearing. The hostest accomodated us well. We got our waters right away. A few minutes later, the complementary, warm, delicious bread and butter arrived. Yum! We both ordered 8 oz steaks, Caesar salads and sweet potatoes with the cinnamon sugar on the side. My steak was medium rare. It was cooked perfectly, a warm, very pink center. It was such a good cut of beef, it looked and tasted like a filet. My Mom asked for Medium well and she got exactly what she wanted. She was extremely happy. We opted to split a dessert and ordered the chocolate lava cake. Well, that was plenty for two to share, decadent, really. I've never left a Yelp review like this but I feel the need to... Saturday night my boyfriend, my sister, brother in law, niece, nephew and mother came here to eat. The food was good and the waiter was good but there was one thing we could not shut up about: the hostess. I'm kicking myself for not getting her name but she was a beautiful, charismatic black woman who called everyone names like sweetie or love. My boyfriend used to work in the restaurant industry and flat out said if he was still in it he'd be trying to steal her to come work at his place. It's literally two days later and I'm still thinking about this woman. She was so warm and upbeat and amazing. I wish I had asked for her name so I could give her a proper shoutout but if management reads this it was the hostess working 11/19 around 5pm. LongHorn Steakhouse is a regular spot for my family and I, and I wanted to share my experience from my visit today. First, the parking is actually very nice, a little cramped but still has good enough room. Next, we were seated and I ordered the Outlaw Ribeye and my mom had ordered the French Onion Soup. I got my steak as medium rare and it was delicious, and I really loved it. My mom said the French Onion Soup was delicious as well. Our waitress Jami was excellent. She was frequently stopping by and gave us time when needed and suggestions when they needed to be suggested. I loved her, she was amazing. Visited the Robinson Township LH yesterday for a lunch with 3 friends. The restaurant was crowded as people are celebrating the Holidays. The food was excellent. Parm-crusted chicken, ribs and grilled shrimp were enjoyed by all, plus potato soup. All items were prepared well and served hot. I've never had a bad experience at LongHorn Robinson. Yesterday, we went to LongHorn for my mom's birthday. We used the call ahead feature for our party of five, so we ended up waiting on 5 minutes for a table after we arrived! Our waitress, Renee, was a great waitress and very personable. We also had the manager check up on our table twice and she was great and had a wonderful sense of humor! It's so nice to see interactive, happy managers! In addition to the wonderful staff, the food was DELICIOUS. We were all 100% pleased with our selections. Our steaks were done perfectly, and everything came out in a timely fashion. I've been at this Longhorn multiple times. My family arrived around 5:00 on a Friday and were promptly seated. There were four of us. When we were seated, it was easily 10-15 minutes before our waitress finally got us drinks. She stopped and said she would be back then disappeared. When our waitress finally reappeared we ordered everything all at once. My soup appeared prior to my drink (water). I had the potato soup (interesting mix) and my wife had a salad. My oldest had a 8oz sirloin, wife had the 6oz sirloin, I had a 12 oz ribeye and youngest had chicken fingers. Everything was ok but I was far from blown away. Steak lacked seasoning and the baked potato was small. They ran out of bread and one point as well which seems odd on a Friday night. I often wrestle between which is better when deciding between Longhorn or Texas Roadhouse in a pinch. Definitely room for improvement here. read more

My wife got the filet, she said it was good, when she asked the waiter if she could get onions on her steak she was informed that they did not do this but she could get mushrooms or Parmesan encrusted. We ordered the "Spicy Chicken Bites" for an appetizer.. they were good. They were like boneless small chicken wings in a spicy chili sauce. Fun and perfect portion for two people to share. Medium is good and pink. Thank you. - My salads are pretty fresh and crisp. - The bread is always served warm. - They have call-ahead seating. NOT SO GREAT: - Some cuts of steak are too fatty. I'm taking leaner cuts like a NY strip. They're just not trimmed right. - This location is a bit too crowded, like they added a few extra tables or something. My walk to the washroom required me to wait a minute for a server to take an order between two tables essential in the hallway right be the washrooms. This is odd. I've never seen or experienced this at other Longhorns. I'm pretty sure they squeezed in an extra table in the hall. What do physically challenged diners do? No way could a wheelchair fit. No way. - My server this last visit was friendly but frantic, almost shamming dishes onto the table. But this is just one server. - They sometimes seat families with kids in the bar, where sauced up patrons curse at full-Pittsburgh volume, right in front of little kids.
