Our first time to visit since it's a newly opened restaurant, but unfortunately our last and we never made it past the hostess. The hostess was incredibly rude as she told us it would be "an hour and fifty minutes to be seated" - but it was the manner is which she condescendingly told us. I realize if the wait list was truly that long (parking lot was half empty), then she really hates her job and should never be the first person a customer interacts with as they enter this establishment. The atmosphere & workers here were absolutely wonderful. They took care of us while we waited for our food. But once we got our food we all only took a couple of bites before having to put it down & stop. My dad got the chicken fried steak & he isn't picky, he will eat anything even if it's not to his tasting but he couldn't even take a second bite. It was cold, & beyond salty. My brother & mom got the Bacon cheeseburger & theirs were also beyond salty & cold. I got the pulled pork & was impressed by the amount of pulled pork I got for the price, but sadly it was so salty I couldn't keep eating. Salads (I love their side salad) kids food. Rolls. Butter. Husband hasn't stopped talking about his ribeye. My favorite is always the cheese fries. The staff were all in amazing moods for being so packed non stop. It's hard opening a new place to eat in NWA. We all eat out!!! It pains me to write this review. I have loved Texas Roadhouse for many years. I have visited establishments across the country and have always had an incredible steak cooked to perfection. Tonight was my first bad experience. This location has only been open a couple of months, so maybe that is the issue. I ordered a NY Strip, medium-well. (Don't hate me - I would be ok with medium, but err on the side of caution). When my food came, I didn't look closely as they placed my food in front of me. When I looked down, I had been served a well done sirloin with a side of green beans that I hadn't ordered. The restaurant was busy for Super Bowl Sunday/Valentines. I waited to get the attention of my waitress, but she had disappeared so I gave up and ate the food in front of me. I definitely regret it. It may be a while before I try this location again. read more

Bar Service and cleanliness were good. Was told out of cactus blossom appetizer, then witnessed it being served 30 minutes later at another table. Specifically asked for burger cooked well done and was served medium cooked. Had to send the burger back due to prior food poisoning. The food and prices are great as all TRH are, but they should have built a bigger bar like in Dallas, and bigger eating footprint to reduce the wait time. They did not research the area and characteristics of the location well. The area is full of people who eat out daily and enjoy getting together for drinks and food. The serving staff learned quickly the menu and are very attentive. The bartenders are great. The hostess is not the right person for that job. I understand the difficulty in dealing with the public but wrong personality for that role. I witnessed on two occasions people walk away simply by the way they were treated walking through the door. I had no doubt it will stay busy after the newness wears off, but missed an opportunity with the design to be a competitive sports bar like Walkons. This place is not worth it. Even if you put yourself on the list ahead of time you will be waiting an hour for chain food. Don't do it. We put ourselves on the waiting list at 4:30, it was a 2 1/2 hour wait, we checked in at 6:54 letting them Know we were there. You can't go inside you have to wait outside. We called to get an approximate time to be seated, they said 30 more minutes....we waited, I called at 7:45p (45 minutes past our original time to be seated) and was told maybe 20 more minutes. This is a new location for the business (only been open a month and a half) and it shows. Had a group of 5 and had a 2-1/2 hour wait (1/2 an hour longer than the wait list said). Once seated, took a long time for the waiter to show up. Seemed like he was relatively new to this and wasn't the most organized. We had a view of the kitchen and it seemed like a lot of food spent quite a bit of time under the heat lamps (e.g. didn't get the food out fast)..long wait for appetizers and food and when we got the orders they were wrong (missing mushrooms on 2 steaks and one potato came out plain instead of loaded). Good news, they quickly made it right. Last thing that happened was waiter gave me bill and when I went to pay it online, there was a $10 difference (more online). Determined that our appetizer wasn't listed on the paper copy. Didn't know if I was being comped for slow service or not, so decided to pay paper copy. When waiter brought back the receipt to sign, they now matched the online version. This is the first time I have ever been showed one bill and charged another. Would have at least expected the waiter to point out the change. Food tasted good, not great. We go to the Texas Roadhouse near us fairly often and it is a well oiled machine. This one needs to work out it's bugs. I would say, give it 6 months and then go and you should get the true Texas Roadhouse experience. read more

As it looks from other reviews that pointless to let people know that the last two, times there, Rogers AR location, that my steak was not cooked correctly. Ordered medium rare, received almost well done. Hardly any pink on the inside. Let management know and they politely took care of the bill and gave us a free appetizer. thank you for that. The last visit my wife's and my steak were over done. I will say that the wait staff and hostesses are always polite and courteous. The waitress did not wait to see if the steaks were cooked correctly, but never have. Probably for good reason. The rest of the meal has always been very good and decent portions. The price is right, but I guess you get what you pay for. Hire some better cooks. You lost me. read more

Have been going to texas in Rogers, AR. From the time it opened, when can get a parking spot, disabled, but this is not about that. The people at the front desk texted us in, then said it was going to be a 10 to 15 minutes, that is fine as we asked for a table, they asked if half booth was ok told them yes. After watching at least 40 people be seated, several couples and bigger parties and 25 minutes later wife went up and was told we have a reserved seat but the people have not left yet, wife asked was that the only table waited another few minutes and was about to leave when they called us. Food was alright not great but alright, the other gripe I have is I had a stroke so only have use of one hand the salt and pepper grinders do not work for me, I know I am not the only one that has this issue. I have talked to at least 3 managers about this to no avail, you need some regular salt shakers for those of us like me that do not want to ask for help to put salt and pepper on our own food. We eat here because my kids love it. But I'm not sure if I'll be back because your "senior" bartender is such a witch. Just rude. I have a family of five. There is always a wait, so the adults go to the bar to order drinks and apps for all while the teens wait in the lobby. That's our system. Last night was a 2.5 hour wait. Not complaining about that. It was Friday. We had a party of 7, celebrating my teenage daughter's birthday. Went to the bar to be told we couldn't sit there unless we were eating. Now, we were ordering apps so it wasn't a problem (or maybe it was ?) But what if we weren't eating at all? What if we just wanted to go out for a beer? It's. A. Bar. But then we watched as your bartender held a seat at the end of the bar for a regular who came in. My adult son sat in my chair while I went to the restroom and was harassed about having two beers in front of him. In the past, in an attempt to actually have dinner for 3 at the bar while one daughter was at a birthday dinner in the dining room, we were told that we couldn't move a barstool one space down so we could all sit together, even though there was plenty of space. My son stood until the seat next to us freed up. On that same evening, your bartender shook a container of mixer, and the lid came off and ended up all over me. No visit from the manager or anything. I know your restaurant is busy, and I worked in the industry for many years, but the woman with the long braided hair is not friendly and needs to check her attitude. I will say that our experiences in the dining room have always been great! Just wish that the experience while waiting to get into the dining room was a little more enjoyable. read more

Very good food. Great service. I always sit at the bar because service is faster & they remember you. I usually get a vegetable plate with a salad, sweet potato, mixed vegies, & chilli but sometimes get the medallions (three 3 oz pieces of filet). If you get medallions, consider ordering them rarer than you normally order because they are thin & easy to over cook, and you can swap the rice out for another vegetable if you want to. read more

I have special dietary restrictions so that was a little upsetting. But I ordered just a plain baked potato and made the meal work for me. Other reviews reccomended using the waitlist app and we were glad we listened. The place was packed with a small village of people waiting inside and outside but we got on the waitlist an hour or so before we intended to eat (it gives you accurate time estimates) and were able to sit down almost immediately after arriving. Best rib eye Ive had in a while, and the onion petal appetizer comes highly reccomended as well. Service was great. They were fast and i had a weird drink order they got right the first time and they made sure it was how i like it. My fiance ordered her steak rarer than she actually wanted to and the waitstaff politely warned her of how it would come out. (I warned her too when they walked away) and sure enough when it came out and she wanted it cooked more they graciously took it back and warmed it up despite it definitely being our fault. Only note is that as busy as they were the place was quite loud, i couldnt hear the music at all, and for a date night the atmosphere suffered for it. But if you're looking for a casual and raucous place to enjoy quality steak its just fine. read more

I've been here SEVERAL TIMES, trying items people complained about... 1. The steaks are amazing and cooked to order. 2. The chicken fried steak AND chicken fried chicken are NOT salty, but cooked/seasoned well. The white gravy is best. 3. The burgers are NOT salty or overcooked. They are juicy, even after sitting in the fridge, when I got off work. 4. The pulled pork is also well done, not dry or greasy. 5. The mashed potatoes are real, green beans are AMAZING! We visited this restaurant and we are out of towners. As soon as we got there to celebrate my husband's birthday, we went to the bar to order drinks while we waited to be seated and were treated like garbage by the bartender Tesla. We ordered a drink and a shot and she slammed things around, rolled her eyes, and called for a manager on the radio. We had no idea what her issue was. The manager spoke with us and explained the law of ordering a cocktail and a shot which we had no idea about since we are from another state. I explained to the manager that was all she had to do is explain that instead of her rude unprofessional behavior. After that she stood at the bar and told other customers about us and complained to them that we had ordered beyond the rules. The manager was kind and said he would address it. The waiters name we had was Noble and he was excellent!!!! He made the experience much better. read more
