Over the last few months the service I have received has been a little spotty...that is until my hubby and I sat in Austin's section. Not only did he remember us from a previous time, he was a very outgoing and sincere server. Austin anticipates the needs of his guests and does it with the best attitude possible. Steak was not properly cut or cooked. I ordered a 10oz ribeye and it covered my plate being so flat and long. It was super thin. I sent it back once and got my second steak and it looked the same. Paid for it but I won't be back. The rolls and salad was good. My sweet potato was only warm. read more

Visited this location yesterday as I was in town for a funeral. This chain seemed like a great choice but our Party was disappointed, mostly with the seating options. We had a party of seven, mostly older people, two on canes and we were offered a booth for seven. The booth may have been able to seat seven teenagers but not seven adults. After complaining we ended up moving to the back of the restaurant at two tables of 6 but told we could not move the tables what so ever. So five of us sat at one table and two sat at the other. It seemed the restaurant is not an option for large parties. The food was mediocre at best. We did have a server that could handle our request. read more

I am a fellow who enjoys a good steak, so I tried out the Texas Roadhouse in Fort Smith Arkansas, with a rather disappointing result. It was mediocre. But a friend told me that the Texas Roadhouse in Texarkana was very good. I am happy to report that this is true. In almost every conceivable manner. The steak (a 20oz. bone in ribeye) arrived perfectly seasoned, juicy, and delicious. The sides were piping hot, as if they had just been prepared, and my server was very friendly and polite. The difference between the steaks at the two places was night and day. The Fort Smith steak was bland, rather dry, and very salty. This one was the reverse. My faith in the Texas Roadhouse has been thoroughly restored. My server, Tiffany, was chatty in a pleasant way, despite the fact that she had many tables to wait besides just mine. Been going to Roadhouse for years. I have never had a bad experience here. Staff has always been friendly. They usually are busy and have long waiting lines. Only ate there twice as it's one of those places you go when you get a bonus or tax return but it was very good both times with good sized portions. Hot fresh rolls with sweet cinnamon butter are great when waiting on your other food to come. The wait can be long to be seated as it's very busy and they gave us a beeper one time when it was going to be over 30 minutes. The worst thing I have to mention though was my wife's grilled pork chops which had a strange taste to them when she offered me a bite to try. She couldn't eat them. Roadhouse is my go-to place to eat! Never lets me down! The waiters/waitresses are super nice and they do great service.

It took 14 minutes for server to take drink order. Server was not very attentive. My wife's chicken salad was fine but the bacon bits were rock hard. My pulled pork sandwich was bland, dry and tasted nasty. To top it off they still charged us for it and I only took two bites out of it. Don't go here they are setup to cater to the hotels next door and don't care if you comeback. read more

Food was good. We arrived just before opening and was not turned away. Got seated in a small room off the main seating area ( along with everyone else). Someone needed some deodorant, others were way too close to our seating location. Way too crowded for my taste. read more

This is a good place to eat. We only had appatizers, but we enjoyed most of them. My wife started with their chili. The chili was great. We also had the sweet chili calamari. This was awesome. I usually don't like sweet dips. This had enough spice to counter the sweetness. The let down of the night was the chilli and cheese fries. We expected the same chili that my wife ate when she had her bowl of chili. This was not even close to the same chilli. I would not order the chilli fries again. We had a wonderful waitress, Lexus. We went to the Texas Roadhouse on the 13th and again today the 27th. We had two gift cards one for $25 and one for $50. On the 13th the waiter got the cards mixed up and gave us the 25 back for the 50. Tonight when we tried to use the 50 they told us it was only 25. We related to story of the prior trip. They took our word and gave us a $25 gift card and apologized for the mix up. They were so nice and we appreciate them doing this for us. We love Texas Roadhouse Texarkana. My husband and I loved our experience in Texas Roadhouse Fresno, CA so we decided to try this restaurant which is actually in Texarkana,TX. It was a busy weekend so we waited for at least 25 mins to be seated. I told my husband this better be worth the wait. When we were escorted to our table, we have to wait again till our table is bus-ed, it was made half-heartedly I ended up sitting on a soaked chair. Then, we were given wrong orders which we noticed because I specifically ordered for fresh veggies and seasoned rice as sides for my steaks but was given baked potatoes instead. It was hard for us to locate our server and when we told her about the mistake, she was too transparent to express her annoyance of getting the correct ones. We still gave a 20% tip despite the bad service we got but the management should give attention on how servers like this can actually cost them business in the long run if this server won't be re-trained to at least give a decent service if not the best one. My steak was too dry...way below on my expectation of a good tasting steak looking at their awards by the waiting area. I could've insisted on our first choice of restaurant that night. I believe this place is overrated and not worth visiting ever. read more

Went here for a simple dinner, Fried chicken salad with Honey Mustard and a sweet potato, I did get my glass of water with lemon, but after a half hour nothing. I spoke to the manager and she wanted to know if I still wanted it, I'm like no. Service was less than bad, won't do TR again. read more

We ate here today and it was great! The steak was awesome and our waitress, Candice went beyond the service. My tea wasn't sweet enough and she kept brining it back until it was right. I visited this restaurant years ago and was not impressed. I have a friend who really likes it and he wanted to go there while in Texarkana this past Saturday, so I decided to give it another try. First, we had to wait 45 minutes for a table, understandable for a Saturday night. We were seated and ordered. Out salads were delivered and as we were eating he found a printed paper receipt in his salad. How does that even happen? A second friend's order was wrong when it came to the table. The absolute WORST dining experience I have EVER had!! My boyfriend took me there on my 30th bday....and what a disappointment! We went on a Monday about 830. We were taken to a table that still hadn't been cleaned...though staff was standing around. After about 5 min they finally half-ass cleaned a table for us while we stood in the bar area waiting. We still had to get some napkins and wipe the table and booth down. Our server brought us hard, cold rolls and dirty plates (yes, the plates still had butter and ranch on them). We politely showed her the plates and she gave us some clean ones with out an apology or anything. My steak was supposed to be medium but was done tasted like a salt shaker got spilled on it. Our waitress never asked how our meal was. My boyfriend wouldn't let me talk to the manager because he didn't think it would get us any where. Before we left I asked her if they had a survey I could fill out and she said no. I asked how to give feedback about my dining experience and she said I could call corporate and started to walk off. I asked her for the number and she said she would bring it to me...5 min later she was no where to be found. I will NOT be going back to that Roadhouse!!
