I guess since Texas Roadhouse stopped serving peanuts and allowing guests to throw the shells on the floor, the manager decided it wasn't necessary to clean the floor at all. Dirty and disgusting. Dangerous for guests and employees. I wonder how the health department would react? What's worse, guests are still being sat in the middle of this filth. YUCK! Wait times were almost 2hrs so I opted for the bar. First off it should be known that there's zero enforcement for face masks. I would say that only 10% of the people were wearing them. Now I don't know if it's a state thing with the mask mandates but it just seemed painfully clear that it wasn't something there worried about. We live in Oxford and have been coming here for years, and this Texas Roadhouse never disappoints. Grace was our server, and she was amazing! Every detail of our order was right, she made sure everything we had everything we needed throughout the meal, steaks were cooked perfectly, and the food was great! First of all, service was slow my drink got refilled once during the entirety of my meal. Secondly my steak was supposed to be medium and was blue rare, I sent it back and it came back exactly the same. Sent it back again and it was finally medium. Also all orders of fries we got were burned or maybe fried in old oil. I eat Texas road house all over the U.S so I know how it's supposed to be. Do the cooks at this one know how to make anything besides Frosted Flakes? I feel like my 7 year old son is cooking back there. We were seated immediately @ 5:30 on a Tuesday. We were promptly served our delicious rolls and put this in received refills without asking. I had the 6 ounce fillet with shrimp skewers. My husband had the 12iz sirloin with steak fries. Both were cooked to perfection. Clayton was our waiter and was on the ball. Never had to look for him. This location was "ok" nothing to write home about. Fast food chain with sub par service. I think 3 stars is fair if not a touch generous. The host took our request to sit at a table and NOT a booth but seemed not to care than they sat us at a both anyway. The prime was was decent but two nights later we had the prime rib at Outback next door and it was so much better we were shocked. We normally enjoy Texas Roadhouse locations but lately have noticed many to be going down hill. Bad service and the food was not good. The salad had more brown lettuce than green. The steak and chicken was completely dry. Very disappointed. The waitress would come by our table and apologize for not bringing what we asked for (water,ranch, rolls) but then never bring it back. First of all, I do appreciate that this restaurant was open when basically everywhere else in Tupelo closed at 9, and the lady at McDs seemed too drugged to take our drive thru order... but back to Texas Roadhouse, the food wasn't great. My daughter had sour cream in her applesauce, other daughter had 2 long hairs in her food, and my son and husband got steaks, with over half of the steak being inedible fat. However, I am leaving a one-star review and a negative review because I know that Texas Roadhouse in Tupelo has a roach infestation, yes, a ROACH INFESTATION!!! A bad one, too. This is to warn everyone to NOT EAT at Texas Roadhouse in Tupelo! From what I hear, they've had a roach infestation for MONTHS now and who knows HOW many people were served food with roaches in it and didn't know it? Also, I've been told that roaches fall into the big containers of salad dressing, probably other things as well and when an employee preparing the salad dressing sees a roach in it, all they do is take the roach out and still serve that same salad dressing!!! So yeah, don't eat there until after it gets a GOOD house-cleaning, and I'm not talking about just the roach problem, I'm talking about the poor management of the place too, which I've also been told, the management SUCKS! read more

There seemed to be a bit of a wait to be seated, but they always seem busy like this (I work behind the restaurant, so I see their parking lot every day at dinner time). Ordered my food at 4:30 online for curbside pick up. I chose the time for 5:30 to pickup. When I arrived I had to wait 30 more minutes for our food. When they brought it out they forgot the drink that goes with the kids meal. After driving home and setting down to eat we noticed that one of our meals was missing a side item. Out of everything we ordered three steaks were cooked to perfection the other was overcooked and dry. The ribs were fall apart but was way to overcooked and dry and the kids meal came with mac and cheese which was just regular mac and cheese out of a box. Will not order from this place again. I've been to this location 4 times, the last 2 were an hour before closing. They denied to serve me TAKE OUT both times! I went two times before that, and they were ok visits but they were sooo slow and out of the jugs to make half gallons of tea all 4 times. This is over at least a 4 month period mind you. I got the Ribeye Babyback rib combo and it was good. I ordered my steak rare, but it was medium when I cut into it. Ribs were very good. I also got steamed vegetables and the were undercooked.
