I used Texas Shuttle recently and recommended them to some Canadian guests at a wedding to take them to the airport. They waited and the driver was a no show. They text him and called him but no response. The driver ended up sending a lyft driver after 40 minutes. The Lyft driver was playing obscene music and would not turn it off. They called Texas Shuttle and the customer service would not help them get a refund. Since my sister and I had used them several times and I live in Texas I reached out to Texas Shuttle. The customer service person was rude. She stated since they took the Lyft they could not have any refund. I asked her what were they to do since they had to get to the airport and it was now 40 minutes past pickup. We're they to miss their flight. I asked to speak to someone higher up and for the phone number to corporate. She said they do not take calls and gave me an email address. I have sent two requests to this email and so has the guests from Canada. YOU WILL NOT HEAR FROM MANGEMENT. They are not humble like they state on the website and not honest nor do they care. Please think about other options I plan to in the future. This is a repeat of my Google review. I want to make sure everyone and anyone can learn about this business. Initial Review: I saw all the wonderful reviews for this company. I spoke to a very nice agent, Krista. She set me up for a round trip from Houston to Galveston and back. My reservation was confirmed on 11/16 for a 11/21 pick up at 10:30 AM. On 11/20 at 2:26pm, I received a text alerting my reservation for 11/21 was being cancelled because they did not have a driver. This cancellation was less than 24 hours before we needed to be picked up. I was told, when I called, that I would get a full refund. I asked about the other leg of my reservation (pick up from Galveston back to Houston) and how they could guarantee we wouldn't get cancelled again. They couldn't provide me enough assurance that this wouldn't happen again so I cancelled that part of the trip and went with another provider. The part of the reservation that I cancelled will be charged a 30% fee for cancelling. I don't think it is fair but I was willing to pay the fee because I lost all faith in their ability to meet my needs which are to pick me and my family up like you said you could. I could have chanced it but considering I wouldn't know their was an issue until we were back at port from our cruise, the uncertainty wasn't worth it. Response from the owner on Google: "You were initially issued a full refund. Clearly your review is a lie." Update after the above response from the owner (on Google): On 11/20, I received the text and did not immediately receive a refund. I wouldn't have expected an immediate refund as it was a Sunday and banks are closed. On 11/21, I wrote this review and got on a cruise without access to my review or banking information. The charge of 30% was in your contract and your phone representative stated was true. When I arrived back to land on 11/26, I saw I missed a call from Texas Shuttle and went to my bank online and saw I was refunded all my money. I came back online to update my review to see the OWNER state that my review was obviously a lie. I will let my "1" star stand as I didn't lie and would have updated my review when I arrived back and was able to see that Texas Shuttle decided to make an exception to their stated rules. I will let the "1" star stand as the comment of calling me a "lie" was uncalled for and very unprofessional when all the facts I stated were true. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID! Made hotel to airport pick-up thru Texas Shuttle 3 day in advance prepaid via credit card. Waiting at appointed time & place. No texts so placed call. Texas Shuttle explained that I had cancelled the ride! I explained I had not, but the clerk hung up. Called again. Hung up. Called again. Phone blocked. Received text from Lyft that their driver had been contacted by Texas Shuttle to get me to the airport. A few minutes later, I received a text that the Lyft driver had canceled my trip. NEVER EVER ISE THIS SERVICE! The only reason this is one star is because I could not do 0. They let me know 14 hours before the flight they were cancelling because the can't find a driver. My 94 year old mother cannot drive 75 miles to come get me. They will make less on me because the driver has to get back to which takes time and they would rather book another ride. Also their website says if you book with less than 48 hours in advance they charge you extra but when I booked it 51 hours they still charged me and said it was 48 hours before the day of the flight , not 48 hours before they pick you up. If you cxl it is a 30% surcharge but they can cxl on you and they don't do a stinking thing for you. read more

I found this business' "Tyler to DFW Shuttle" in an internet search for my elderly brother and his handicapped wife who were visiting family from out of state. They booked a 1-way shuttle from Tyler to DFW 2+ mos in advance. Rec'd confirmation of reservation and pickup date/time. Less than an hour before pickup time, rec'd a text that they would not be picked up due to the driver having a "family emergency". A mad scramble to find a last-minute substitute transport to DFW from Tyler ensued, which was incredibly inconvenient and psychologically traumatic for all involved. A full refund was promised by the business, but after more than 72 hours from that promise, no refund has yet occurred. Is this a scam business? Don't know yet (since still waiting for the refund), but do know that Tyler To DFW Shuttle / Texas Shuttle LLC has proven that they are a business which will cancel its customer's reservation at the very last minute, leaving their customer stranded 100+ miles from their departing flight and that they can't be / shouldn't be trusted or used. read more

Headed to the bank to dispute my charges! They left us hanging! I know for a fact they double booked the driver, Arthur. He picked up part of our party at 8:45am and according to my email he was also to be our driver. No possible way he could have left Galveston at 9am, drive to Houston and back to Galveston to pick us up at my scheduled time of 10:30. After Arthur was 20 minutes late I spoke with him on the phone and he said he was going to be at least another 45 minutes. I called the office to see my options and the lady was extremely rude. Basically said tough crap and only offered to refund the drivers gratuity. A male contacted me and apologized, said he tried to find us an Uber or Lyft but non were available and said he would refund my money. We scrambled and secured a ride and made our flight out of Houston on time. I have emailed them and only receive a form letter in return stating their cancellation policy in which it states if they are over 30 minutes late or a no show a refund will be issued! Last time I checked 75 minutes is more than 30. I have called the number of the man who said I would be getting a refund many times and no one has answered. read more

My family and I have used Texas Shuttle for a few years now and have been pleased with their service. During the travels to and from, we have had rides with most of their drivers, though during this past trip one in particular deserves recognition and that is, Kevin! He was gracious and professional and we engaged in good conversation. The gentleman that he was, he kindly assisted with my luggage in getting it into the door area of the Airport. That certainly helped my back that day and for that I am very grateful. So, thank you again! One area if I may offer to upgrade is, for all drivers to wear a polo and or button down shirt with their name embroidered on the front. Smooth Rides from DAL and returning to DFW. Both of our drivers, Marcus from DAL and Wayne back to DFW were excellent drivers, thoughtful people and made the journey interesting and worry free for us. Each was relaxed, courteous and flexible to any of our concerns. The entire service was timely, even early, with generous communication. They made a change in time for us easy, they covered our whole flight schedule and were in touch with us before we could confirm that they would actually appear. The traffic was heavy, they were calm and skilled. We could focus on scenery, no sweat, arriving early, with time to spare. They offered additional courtesy services and responded to any text or email questions quickly. Fantastic service! Less than half the cost of renting a car, without the many efforts of that process. I would recommend that anyone needing transportation from the Dallas/Fort Worth airport to STAY AWAY from this company. I booked transportation from the DFW airport to the Gaylord Texan Resort--a 7 mile trip. The driver had NO CLUE where she was going! After nearly 40 minutes and seeing signs to ENTER the airport I had to get my phone out and tell her where to go. THEN today our flight from DFW to Indianapolis was canceled by the airlines. When I called the airlines to get another flight we (9 of us) had to leave the Gaylord property immediately in order to get to DFW in time to get our bags checked. I notified Texas Shuttle I needed to cancel our transportation and was told I would still be charged the FULL PRICE since it was not 48 hours prior. The Website doesn't allow for a planning price or even a price range without completely filling out the itinerary and providing personal information. The website claims that you need simply enter origin and destination for a range, but the feature is either disabled, non-functional or nonexistent. I don't expect a "quote" per se, but would like to know if the rate is in the $10 range, $100 range or $1000 range. read more

I am EXTREMELY upset with Texas Shuttle!!! Specifically with Amanda who was handling our booking for yesterday morning. I booked online on Feb 23rd for a ride the next morning at 4am to the airport, which was only 3 miles away. We were already stressed out and stranded in Dallas due to cancelled flights, and I was willing to pay the $200 for a 5 minute ride to ensure peace of mind that my large family would make it to the airport together and make our flight. I have 4 kids, ages 10, 8, 2 and 1. (feeling stressed for me?) Well, you can imagine that I was seeing red when we were downstairs in the lobby of our hotel, at EXACTLY our scheduled pickup time, and I discovered that my ride had been CANCELLED. Amanda had texted my phone 10 minutes prior to see if we were ready early, and I had not answered at that time because we were busy hauling our bags and 4 kids down to the lobby trying to be quiet. So she just cancelled our ride!!! I've never heard of a shuttle company cancelling rides before the scheduled pickup time! I tried to have Amanda send the shuttle anyway, but she became unresponsive and stopped answering my texts and blocked my phone calls. Because of this, we had to SCRAMBLE to order two lyft rides, which dropped us off at different places in the terminal, and we wasted time waiting for the rides, and getting to each other at the airport. We ended up only just BARELY making our flight, arriving only 5 minutes before boarding. *WARNING PLEASE READ* This company use to be great, but is now the worst transportation provider in DFW. Their driver arrived 20 minutes late. The car he arrived in looked nothing like the autos the company boasts about on their website. This car was a small compact that had accident damage. It was dirty and made a loud consistent roar for the duration of my transport. He told me he was a Lift driver and just moments earlier answered the request for my transport to the airport through the Lift app. On the Texas Shuttle website, they brag about the background checks and "high standards" they have for their drivers. Yet, when they don't have a driver available, rather than informing me so I can contact Uber and pick out the auto that suits my needs, they keep my money and send the cheapest choice on Lift. When I got to the airport, I tried calling Texas Shuttle several times. Their phone was never answered. Their website gave an email address link for driver comments. However, when I sent an email via the link, I received a reply stating "we don't take reservations online". This company is making fraudulent statements by all of their claims on its website. read more

We recently flew my 79 year old mother-in-law from Ft Worth to our home in Savannah,GA. We wanted to make sure she didn't have to worry about getting to and from DFW, so I booked Texas Shuttle for her. They made the process super easy - from the great communication to the great driver named Bruce. I hired Texas Shuttle for an important corporate outing with 30 key clients. Texas Shuttle was wonderful to work with! I received courteous and helpful customer service during the booking process and the drivers, Bruce and Russell, were awesome. We were attending an event in a highly trafficked area in bad weather and Bruce and Russel proved to be extremely knowledgeable and savvy with getting our group to and from where we needed to go. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I had booked a ride to DFW Airport 2 months before my flight and received a confirmation. I thought everything was all set. However, at the pick up time - 2:30am on the morning of my flight I received a call that the driver cancelled and they had NO back up driver. They could not book a Lyft either. None were available. I was left stranded. While they offered a refund, it was not enough to compensate me for my trouble of being stranded and not able to get to the airport on time. Do yourself a favor when you book any limo service and make sure that they have back up drivers and cars on their own staff/company at all hours and don't rely on Lyft as their backup plan. I was planning a trip to see my best friend who just moved to Durant, OK. She told me I really didn't need a rental and mentioned a company she googled called Texas shuttle to get me back to Love Field in North Dallas. I looked up a few companies for comparison and this one seemed to fit the bill nicely. I got a reservation confirmation and called to add some information. The Customer Service Rep was really nice and accommodating. Well I just got back today from that trip and I cannot say enough, of how pleased I was with their service. I was a little nervous as Ginger lives in a very new area that doesn't even have a street sign yet! So I was kicking myself for not calling and adding information I now knew to give the driver an easier time of finding the place. I did not have to worry! Iwas to be picked up at 7am and at 6:37am I got a text from Marcus that he was already at the house and I could come out to the car when I was ready. I was SO relieved and impressed!! He used a couple of different applications and found the house. The drive to Love Field was peaceful and relaxing. Marcus was so charming and sweet!! We talked a little bit on the way- found out he is originally from Louisiana. Long story short- I would use this service again in a heartbeat!! I have been very impressed with the courteous & professional service of Texas Shuttle. Melissa helped me set up a pick up at Dallas Love Field at the last minute, and my driver Quentin contacted me rignt as my flight landed and was able to pick me up 15 minutes earlier than my reservation time because he had been tracking my flight. He literally was at the curb 2 minutes after I picked up my bag, and delivered me safely to Rockwall during a snowy and icy day. Driver arrived on time and we arrived at our destination; however, he got lost in DFW, drove through into do not enter drives, and wanted to drop off 10 gates early. Amazing, Awesome, wonderful all the way around. My first trip we had several people (all co-workers) they picked up at 3 locations. Which allowed us to leave our cars at home. I don't remember the drivers name but he was great. One of the guys left his phone and we had to return to his house. In spite of the delay, we arrived early for our flight, and hopefully didn't delay the driver for his next pick up. Because of the great service, I book TXS for my trip home. I was able to book a round trip from and back to the airport several days in advance. My 2nd driver Wayne, is amazing, and nothing against the others, but when I remember I will request him every time. He was super nice, friendly and patience. He knows the airports and when and where to go. He gave me directions just based on my flight info. He arrived before I did and texted directions, for baggage claim and to his car. He sent a picture of himself and the car as well as a description where to find him. We had a good laugh, because I didn't follow his directions and could not find him. Just follow their directions they know all things good. LOL I found him and we were on our way. It was a comfortable ride; great conversation and I look forward to my next stress-free ride. I don't travel and this is the first time using a service, I had trouble finding a uber, or lyft but TXS was easy. I mistakenly asked for pm instead of am for a pickup and caught the mistake the day before they fixed it no problem.
