Anyway, went back to Costco, they said to return to eye doctor. Went back to same eye doctor mid-September, 2023 - just one month later - and received a DIFFERENT prescription. Very concerning since my prescription had changed only slightly over past 10-12 years and now something seriously different in just a month?!? Finally, December 30, 2023, I went to Dr. Li. I had to pay out-of-pocket since I had already used insurance benefits but it wasn't costly. Received a different prescription but he took his time with the exam. I didn't feel rushed to say 2 is better than 3, etc. Got his prescription filled and I am 100% satisfied. Gosh! I can actually see with these new glasses and it's almost a pleasure (perhaps relief) to put them on. Happy happy happy. Doctor and staff very helpful and accommodating. Will definitely return for next eval end of 2024. I really appreciate all that was done for me.

I went to this establishment for new glasses. I took with me, a pair of readers I bought and loved…read morethe frames on and wanted to have them fitted with my new lenses. I was told it was not a possibility. Picked out frames and had an order ready to go which was gonna cost me somewhere around 400.00 WITH insurance coverage! Next day I call and tell them I cannot do it and they are too expensive, so they say, they will stop the order and when I can to come in and we will draw up an order for a more affordable deal. In the meanwhile, I contact two different optical places that tell me without a doubt, that they can indeed fit the frames I want with the lenses I need. So, I call this establishment back and tell them that I have found someone who can do the job on the frames I want and I want my initial (half payment) outlay of money back. They said no, their policy is no refunds. I have had my insurance people speak with them, corporate from Vision Source speak with them and they are not budging. They both said how badly they felt and feel she is being unreasonable. I filed a complaint with the BBB and still waiting to hear anything on that. This has been going on since Sept 29 and now it is Nov 16! I just want my money back and I don't want the glasses that they said they would NOT order, they KNEW I did not want them. I am ready to call channel 8 news to give them my story. Oh and I did not mention the fact that when I was seated having my eye exam, Dr. Hernandez pulled out her script pad and wrote me a script for eye drops for my "allergy eyes" as she called them without even asking me how my eyes felt. She said be sure and see me back in two weeks. Of course, so she can get even more money from my case as then she would be getting paid by my BCBS for the follow-up. I didn't get the script filled as I did not need the steroid she said I needed. She sells jewelry in her waiting area, leftover from a business she was previously in. She is all about MONEY and getting as much as she can even if it is mistreating the people that walk in her door. There is a five star rating up above, she gets NO STAR as far as I am concerned.

I have known him or of him for over 30 years and his reputation is spotless in the community. I have severe dry eye that wasn't responding to traditional treatment (drops, plugs, ointments, masks, meds...)regimes I can prescribe myself to myself. dr Don has a machine that cost twice as much as my first house did in 93 and now my problems are in the rear view Mirror!!! Trust this guy and my fellow docs and I do!

Just moved to Richardson and needed a new optometrist. This practice is in my health insurance…read morenetwork and had generally good reviews online so I decided to give them a go. Scheduling an appointment as a first-timer was extremely easy. I was scheduled with Dr. Sara Nourani. She was fantastic. She was kind, professional, and attentive to my specific health needs. I get really bad headaches (which I attribute to my eyeglass rx), and she listened carefully to me explain this problem and addressed the problem. She showed and explained to me me the images of my eyes that they take prior to your examination-- I've never experienced this from an optometry provider before and was really great to have my eye health explained! Dr. Nourani was personable and made my examination comfortable. I also was able to have my eyeglasses adjusted/tightened for free in the optical section of the offices. The front desk staff was pleasant and sent me home with complimentary boxes of contact solution. So happy that I found a great optometry practice!! I highly recommend this place.

We were letting Dr. Makler know about the severe, constant migraines that my daughter has been having, just to update him as to recent tests & her current, general medical issues. When Dr. Makler heard that my daughter was having constant migraines he immediately expressed his concern - he was afraid that the eye tests that he must do during the exam might cause her migraine pain to increase. He was purposely very careful during his exam, trying to lower the lights so they wouldn't bother my daughter & trying the best he could to shine the least amount of lights in her eyes that he had to. Both my daughter & I were so impressed with the care & compassion he demonstrated!!!

The Dr I saw was very professional and went out of his way to get as much info as was needed to get me on the right track. However...The receptionist was, frankly, pretty rude. i overheard her talking on the phone & was pretty disappointed in her lack of customer service! I had been told to bring my ID and insurance card even as a previous patient. This was great for me because I had a new insurer. When I asked if I needed to show her this info, she was short with me & said they have everything they need on file (even though I mentioned on the phone I had a new insurance). The 2nd girl was so nice, however, and the poor girl had to redo my quote because the receptionist failed to adequately do her job. Lesson learned: make sure they have your correct insurance on file! I gave them 4 stars bc ultimately the Dr and 2nd staff member were so courteous & helpful. They have beautiful frames & decent selection. Give 'em a try!

I'd give this place zero if i could. My bi-focals had to be redone twice, then i found out they cut…read morethem there in house. No thanks, they still couldn't get them right. I was not overly picky but literally the first bi-focal had the cut right in the middle of the lens, i couldn't even drive and see things clearly, everything was so blurry. It was right in the middle of my line of sight. The second pair, is literally done at a 45 degree angle with the point coming literally to my pupil on both sides and going towards my nose. Google what a bi-focal looks like, its not that. it is a straight line across. They didnt even measure me! ugh, i'll never go back and neither will my kids.
