Take your business anywhere but here. I purchased a trailer and lawn mower from them and it has been a horrible experience. My temporary plate for my trailer expired 8 days ago. I have made several trips to ask why I haven't received my plates and was always told "The Lady will call you when they are ready" Today I was in the store again to inquire about my plates and while talking to my salesperson some guy I don't know and never met tried to hand my a forged temp tag to put on my trailer and said this will trump the hard plates. A Lie and illegal by the way. Turns out that Bozo owns the place. I paid cash for the trailer and the plates and title should be here by now. If you don't file the paperwork with the county for 42 days after a cash purchase I wouldn't expect the plates would be on time. Now back to the purchase of my lawnmower. I financed the mower with Mahindra and was told that I had to purchase Dual Interest insurance on the loan ( Also a lie and illegal you can simply add a rider to your homeowners to cover the asset) I decided to let it slide since I planned to pay the mower off in a couple of months. After my experience in the store today, I have decided to file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission and State of Texas Attorney General and The Comal Tax office regarding the issues at Texas Tractor Country and unless you have time to go through that I would avoid this place at all costs. Imagine a company that gets you to sign a contract on false pretenses and then, when they don't deliver the product you thought you were buying, they tell you that YOU are the problem and that your credit will be ruined. Thats Todd at Texas Tractor Country in a nutshell. I bought a tractor from Hunter at the end of 2024. After 9 hours of operation rats ate the wiring harness overnight. It took them a month to pick it up Todd in service kept telling me they would "be there by the end of the week." The mechanic that picked it up told me "mahindra put peanut butter in the wires." He showed me the entire wiring harness eaten to shreds. He assured me that this would be a repeat issue...his words not mine. Todd in service then tried to bill me for $3,000 to get it fixed despite the fact that the tractor was under a 5 year warranty AND I had purchased extra insurance from them when I bought the tractor...insurance that they ASSURED me would cover any issues that the warranty would not cover. Turns out...the insurance they sold me "covers everything but rat damage to the wiring harness." How convenient for them. They apologized for selling me insurance that did not do what they promised...but then blamed me for not trusting or wanting the tractor anymore. Todd kept saying "I can't understand why you are upset at us (the dealership) or why you have lost confidence in the tractor"... mahindra finance and corporate both repeatedly lied to me, promising to find a solution and call me back...which they never did. Now my credit is going to be ruined. In one last effort to get Todd to do the right thing and help me, he refused...and kept falling back on these two arguments 1. "I just don't understand why you lost confidence in the tractor.... (that broke after 9 hours and does not have the insurance/warrant they promised me it would have)." and 2. "You keep getting hung up on the fact that the tractor was not insured the way we told you it was insured" yeah...I do confess that I'm really hung up on people keeping their word to me. That this is a problem for Todd tells you everything you need to know about this place. Texas Tractor Country are GREAT people and super FRIENDLY...UNTIL you sign the dotted line...and then once they've got you, even when they are at fault, you will pay the price...and have to endure the same rudeness I did when you talk to the head guy. In their dealings with me they felt no obligation to hold up the assurances they gave me when I signed the contract. I'm paying a high price indeed to not have to do business with them ever again...but having my credit ruined is worth it to never have to speak to them again. Save yourself the headache. read more

We live in Katy but are purchasing a few acres out in the country soon and needed a zero-turn for our new home. I've never owned one and had just started looking at them when my wife and I happened to stop by Texas Tractor Country while we were in the area. We spoke to Randy here, and he was extremely helpful and friendly. He explained what I should be looking for, whether I bought from him or not, and told me what I should avoid. I wasn't in a position to buy anything that day but was really appreciative of the advice he gave. He didn't seem to mind helping, even if he knew it wasn't going to lead to a sale. Fast forward a couple weeks and I found a good deal on a mower south of Houston. I called Randy for some advice on it, as it was the same brand they offered but with a different motor. After a few calls to him he and I had worked out a deal on a mower from Texas Tractor Country instead. I could have probably saved a couple hundred bucks at the other place, but I liked and appreciated Randy and just felt better taking my business there, even though it's 2.5 hours from home, and I still feel like I got a steal of a deal. Picking it up was a breeze. They had it all ready for me a couple days later after I'd worked out the deal, and I enjoyed spending a little time talking fishing with Ron while I was there. We need more places like this. Just good old fashioned customer service and good people. They worked with me for about year. My Mahindra 6075 is the best tractor for my needs at the ranch and for the price. They have the best prices that I found in South Texas. The best part; however, is the team. After my purchase I have gotten to know the entire staff - from the owner to the sales team to the parts department to the mechanics. It feels like family. They have continued to help me with questions and suggestions even after my purchase. I have already recommended them to several family and friends and will continue to do so. read more

If you need a part on Saturday you a screwed. The parts guy only works Monday through Friday. And you are lucky if he calls you back.

Not sure what happened with that last review.... My experience was that I was met by friendly salesman Mr Cole. He patiently led me through options in my price range and offered me patient education on how to drive a zero turn mower. I tested different models for an hour and then closing was quick and efficient. He even offered to get it delivered to my house. This place is absolutely horrible. Came to buy a lawnmower and Randi Cole told me to just write a check when I inquired about financing. First off that was rude as hell as I couldn't write a check because I didn't have that kind of money and was interested in financing. Then he said he would deliver it only to then the next day tell me he wouldn't. Promised a trailer to use to bring it home and then told me he gave it to someone else because they spent $15,000 not $4,000. As a potential customer, he had the nerve to say there's a difference between someone paying 15,000 versus $4000. I can't imagine this guy is a successful businessman treating customers the way he does. I would steer clear as I've heard things about the service at this place also being horrible. read more

Met with Bob the salesman and he was super helpful in selecting the right tractor for me. He explained everything thoroughly and took his time to make sure I was going to be satisfied with it. The paperwork/loan etc., were done quickly and professionally by Rylee. Bob promised the tractor would be delivered in 2 days and did so. I had no experience with this kind of tractor and he went over the operation and didn't just dump it and leave. Kind of service you don't find anymore. Thanks for a job well done. read more

****HORRIBLE SERVICE**** Called to see if they had a PTO switch for my SCAG PATRIOT zero turn and offered a part number. The guy who answered the phone said they were universal and he had some in stock. Drove 50 minutes for him to tell me they weren't universal and he has to order it. He got an attitude when I said I didn't want to order it. This place is trash for having customer service guys like him. I'll never go back. read more
