the group had a taste for wings so we came here since we were in the neighborhood. I tried something new and tried the southern fried wings with the Garlic Q wing sauce that comes on the side. The sauce was ok but I will try the other garlic sauce next time. I like the southern version, it was crispy and tasted like homemade chicken. I also tried the garlic parm aioli fries. They were full of flavor and were delicious but I would have liked the cheese on top to be more melted. Hubby had two of the top hot sauces. He said they were good but not as spicy as he expected and couldn't tell the difference between the two. lol Service was friendly and in good time. Overall we enjoyed it all. I came here for a real quick bite a few weeks ago. I had just dropped off my fiance at a nearby coffee house. The place had plenty of parking. When I got inside, I was greeted quickly and able to get seated immediately. I chose two types of wings to eat. I want to say that I got an order of the Sweet Habanero and an order of the Korean wings. I've often thought that I should bring a small notebook so I can make notes and not forget specific details. The food came out quickly and I asked for the check as soon as the food came out. Both types of chicken wings were delicious. There were alot TV around the dining area that were playing the different football games going on at the time which is typical of a sports bar. The waitress was friendly and accommodating. She got me the check quickly when I asked for it. I ate my chicken wings pretty quickly and headed back to the coffee shop to pick up my fiance. We had the best late night dinner experience at Wings and Rings on TX 337 Loop in New Braunfels. Me and a friend visiting from out of town got hungry after a long drive. We picked this restaurant was because of location and operating hour that suited our needs. We were welcomed by friendly employees as we walked in. The restaurant has a big dining hall and multiple TV monitors on each wall. It happened to be the Dallas Cowboys football night. Cheers filled the restaurant. As soon as I sat down, I saw the daily specials menu on the table. It was Chicken Tender Wings night with $1.69 a piece. They were sold by the 3-6-9. We each got 3-piece strips with different sauces. I also ordered as side of cauliflower. It was fresh and cheesey. The chicken strips were made of white meat. They were really tender and juicy. I normally don't eat fried food but I have to make an exception because I crave for that wing experience. Our waitress was really good. I presented the Yelp check-in coupon and she accomodated us with a soft drink and to-go cups. It was very nice of her. On today's journey I went to Wings and Rings, first impressions, lot of tv's to watch the games, plenty of seating for larger groups and in the bar area has good seating areas too and even a place for the young ones. Now the main attraction the food, you can't go wrong here. The wings are absolutely great; different types of how they prepare them from traditional, grilled, smoked and southern fried and a huge selection of sauces and flavors so what ever you're craving they most likely have it. They also have burgers, sandwiches and salads, this place has a good variety of options. I got traditional wings with a medium buffalo hot sauce also some southern fried Korean sauce. Both were delicious but I preferred the traditional ones the flavor and the sauce was excellent. I paired it with some potato wedges and onion rings, both were amazingly delicious, cooked to perfection. So the only train is not 5 starts is only because my cheeseburger was bland. No flavor, very blah. But the wedges, fried, Mac an cheese and mozzarella sticks and fried pickles were all tasty!! Mac an cheese was average, how can you mess up man an cheese. Fried pickles were amazing, their ranch was different. It wasn't hidden valley, it just taste very different but it was ok, maybe a 5 on 1-10. Mozzarella sticks amazing! Hands down! I don't eat wings but my guest did and, no complaints. Tried this place one day with a friend. The bar area is not real big, but it works. We sat at the bar, so service was quick our bartenders/server continually checked to see if we needed anything. We were just having drinks, but decided to try some appetizers after looking at the menu. I ordered up a half dozen chicken wings with the habanero dry rub. They weren't near as hot as I thought they'd be, but they were good. There's also a restaurant section in this place and it was pretty full. Seems to be a good place to take the family to eat. Plenty of parking and I have no objections to trying this place again in the future. For what it's worth I understand this is actually a chain restaurant. Great portions, excellent sauces and the service is impeccable! The owner is great at hiring staff. My girlfriend got the traditional buffalo medium and they were not to spicy medium is like the mild so a little kick with good flavor.Great atmosphere! It was very cold though. As far as chicken wings go this is the place to go in town. The waitress was friendly and attentive. The dining area and tables were clean. The boneless wings order was plentiful with large boneless wings perfectly cooked. ( Not dry ) I like this place and would come more often if it weren't for the music being ridiculously TOO LOUD. As mentioned I don't come often but every time I come the music is always TOO LOUD. I don't understand how a restaurant manager doesn't recognize this. Don't know what is happening with this joint because it used to be my and several of my friends favorite. Decided to give em another shot after a couple disappointments but turned out to be the same. The sauce covered about half of the wings. I don't mean 5 of the 10 had sauce I mean all 10 had half plain and have sauce. Just poured on instead of tossed in a bowl. I mean even wild wings manages to coat with sauce. Asked for well done instead got what tasted like barely reached safe temp to eat. Rings the same. For a pickup I realize rings won't be hot by the time I get home but these had obviously not been cooked enough as I was just a clump of soggy undercooked slop. If they had been done right they would have been just cold rings to throw in the air fryer for a couple but this clump went in the trash. I've called this place twice for past orders just to give them feedback but hasn't helped for me at least. The wings they use are quality and their ranch is damn tasty but it's some combo of the staff, management or ownership stopped caring. Was my go to for years now they can't even notice wings are half covered in sauce. Love wings so I'm sure I'll give in and give it another shot. read more

This place has become one of my favorite places for casual dining. I especially like Tuesdays when they have .89 boneless wings. I always get the grilled boneless wings with buffalo sauce. They are meaty and tasty. The thick & chunky blue cheese dip makes them even better. (I could eat that stuff with a spoon.). We also enjoy the onion rings dipped in their chipotle ranch dressing. They have several TVs for game days . Our waitress wasn't rude but you can tell she didn't wanna be there. She was patient though with all the questions we had and our indecisiveness when ordering. We didn't really like the wings we ordered. My bf ordered lemon pepper and they were really dry lacking flavor. I ordered teriyaki and they were drenched in sauce. We also had fried pickles which were ok as an appetizer. Maybe next time we'll try something different on the menu. We did check in on Yelp and received a free non-alcoholic drink. Usually, their food is good and service is pretty decent. Today, wow. We waited 15 minutes for our server to even come to our table. She didn't know we were in her section. I dont blame her, it's their unorganized leadership. Our food (2 chicken sandwiches and a shrimp appetizer) took about 30 minutes to come out. They weren't even busy. The sandwiches were good. The appetizer looked like it was thrown into a chipped bowl haphazardly like someone was throwing a tantrum. They remade it how it should be. Now, normally when someone has such a bad experience in your restaurant, you try to placate them, maybe give a discount or something. Not for us. Our server even asked the manager about it and told us not to leave her a tip (we did because we aren't animals). The manager told her that because he remade the appetizer, that was good enough. Sports bar style with several TVs on all the walls. The menus were greasy feeling ( bad omen if you can't clean your menus). I'm not a big wing fan but thought I'd give it a try. The garlic Parmesan were ok. My dining partner like their choice. The frozen house margarita was a steal! But not much alcohol in it. The place was clean ( there were quite a few high chairs so they were keeping up cleaning. Shane the bartender was great at both serving my food and mixing up some difficult drinks for customers at the same time (espresso martinis and breakfast shots when it was also 3.50 Margarita night) Sauce flavors were unique, I really enjoyed the Korean BBQ bites and Hot Honey.
