How about that Commanders WIN! Sunday Funday with my love!
    Nessa R.

TG Cigar is a cute cigar shop in DC. It's close to my beloved Unconventional Diner and although I've passed it many of times, I had not visited until our Sunday Funday. My Big Spoon loves to smoke cigars so like a real life magnet wherever he goes, I'm there, stuck to him! Service was absolutely wonderful, thanks to the front desk lady for allowing me to use her IPhone charger. A little slow with bar and food service but only one bartender/server was working. She did a commendable job doing it alone. My drink was perfect and our pizza was great! The space is small so you definitely smell when you come out. Don't wear anything you love love or anything expensive as you'll have to immediately clean whatever you have on. Ladies, keep real furs at home, or anything designer at home. Wear your lounge wear, put a hat on, and/or throw your hair in a ponytail. Or if you have long money, wear that expensive stuff just know you will need to clean it, ASAP! This Cigar Bar definitely has a lot of men, not too many women were in there. If you need to buy cigar items, this is the place! Parking is a nightmare. Good luck with that.

Well, I'm not a smoker. Soon as I entered the back room - WHEWWWWWWWWW! lol the smoke was strooongggggggggggggggg. Wear clothes (and hair) you don't mind smelling like smoke. You certaintly do Not have to dress up here You can also bring in your own cigar/kits etc. I heard that Cigars at this location were pricey There are some reserved tables, but most you can sit at your own. TVs were on for the football games In-between games/commercials really good old school hip was hope playing Food: Friend loved the Salmon Sliders, came with an order of fries I had the Nachos. They were bland. Cold. I barely ate 1/4 of these Drinks: Espresso Martini was REALLY good. The sidecar was good, strong Metro: Take the Convention Center metro and walk about 2 mins to this place

Located downtown Washington DC, has a walk in humidor full of several premium cigar brands, a lounge with comfortable chairs, tables and 3 large flat screens, a full bar and serves food. There is an outside enclosed seating area in the back also. TG is a female Blacked owned establishment opened in 2006. Keep up the good work Dawit, it was good to meet you

This place has a very nice humidor. We ordered Old Fashioned, wings and fries. The server was very busy, but still got us our drinks quickly. They also serve hookah. Plenty of TVs and comfy seats. It's pricey, but we enjoyed it. Our second time visiting!

My friend visited me and she's into Cigar and TG has great reviews so we decided to check it out. Please bring your grown and sexy with you because this place has it. The vibe is very classy, sophisticated and grown. There was a piano player...it doesn't get more elegant. She did a great job. My friend and I sat in big comfy leather chairs, off to the side, really just enjoying the vibe and atmosphere. Had a flight of Whiskey with our cigar to savor the full experience. Eventually we decided to order some food, some hot wings but I really was not a fan. The wings were cooked good but the sauce was not giving buffalo. Although, my hair smelled like cigar for days and I was not prepared but now I know. Overall, it was a great experience and I look forward to returning!

What a gem of a place near the conference center. Now, obviously, you need to be cool with smoking to enjoy this place. And while I'm not a smoker, I do enjoy cigars a few times a year. And now I've found my go-to spot to hit my craving. First, the selection is good. It's not the biggest collection I've seen, but they have all the hits and some fun brands. I didn't have a lighter or cutter on me, and they gladly cut and lit it up. But what makes this place special is its ambiance and the extras. Typically, a cigar store has a few epically smoky couches, some soda or bottled water, and Netflix or sports radio on in the background. You'll come home smelling like the cigars of people past. I'm not complaining (I've smoked happily many times in this kind of environment). But here, they have a long and luxurious bar with some top notch local and hard to find spirits and a decent beer selection. There are nice tables and seating that doesn't look like it's been through 1,000 cigars a bit away from the bar. Lots of TVs and a motivated wait staff. This is definitely a higher end experience for a reasonable price. I also found the regulars welcoming and talkative (which is definitely not usual at cigar bars). I had a great time smoking, chatting, and having a nightcap. I will definitely be back.

Favorite cigar lounge in DC! Upscale, classy, yet down to earth vibe! Great staff, awesome atmosphere, fine selection of cigars (Monte Cristo!), drinks, and the food is really grande! Nice to get off work and unwind here. Superiorly recommended!

This is the place to take a break from the daily grind. Directly adjacent to the DC Convention Center, parking is often a challenge. However, once inside, relax and enjoy the services. GREAT Humidor with a broad variety of cigars and a full bar that offers a full array of drinks to order. In addition to the cigars and bar, the wings are to die for. Overall, the space is small yet intimate. Crowd ebbs and flows. If and when in the DC area and looking for a spot to sit and relax, so yourself a favor and drop in.

Fantastic place to relax with a drink and a cigar. Great service and outstanding selection of cigars.

This nice little hidden gem was just what I needed to relax and have some downtime. Contrary to some of the reviews I read all the staff were very friendly and attentive. There is a nice selection of cigars in the front and the drinks were pretty good.

I was charged $120 for this bottle of Prosecco's.

My cigar of choice, Davidoff SIGNATURE AMBASSADRICE. This slim stick was pretty simple and easy for me to indulge in. Drink of choice, Black Cherry Manhattan. The serving of salsa was pretty skimpy Given the size of the basket of chips I got. I had to ask for a refill on the salsa. Also, the salsa to me was not salsa, It was more like pico de gallo as it was all just chunks, which was tasty enough, but if I'm to be dipping chips into salsa I was really expecting something a little more liquidy and not just chunks. Also, their chips are way too thin for their salsa, as such as it is. The chips kept breaking every time I wanted to scoop up any of the chips/pico de gallo sauce. Finally, I was a little annoyed at the end, when I noticed the was a slight price increase on my angels envy bourbon. Apparently they charged me $.50 to have one ice cube in my glass. I noted to my server that nobody had asked me what size ice I wanted I had merely said angels envy on the rocks. I didn't get rocks plural. I got one piece of ice. And it wasn't one of those humongous cubes like I have at home either.

WHAT A ONE-STOP SHOP!!!!!…read more 219 is a VA gem, that I personally don't want too many people knowing about. The bottom floor - the Bayou Bar. The middle floor - dining within 219. And the top floor? - the performance space and the side cigar lounge! When I say there is something for everyone at this location, you could not miss going here. My friend and I made reservations via Open Table and had no issue making our allotted time, neither did 219 with having our table ready upon our arrival. Our server was super attentive, giving all of his best recommendations, including the jambalaya, and wings! (Both pictured). We were also seated by the window which was surprisingly not cold (the fireplace was also not lit this night), and was able to have a nice view of the street! She and I love people watching, and this was nice! Loved this place, and took our drinks right upstairs to the jazz performance where we spent another hour or so. Greaaaat performers come, along with great sounds! It's set up as a first come, first serve basis so please come early! 219 is a great place to come for a cozy. comfortable night!

Given the size of the upstairs I'm glad we came right upstairs first. As it is very very small and tight. It's first come and first serve. Ordered wings fries and crab soup. The wings were okay from what my friend said. The soup could be better. It needed old bay seasoning and more crab. It was very bland. Too much scallions in it. It was like eating scallion cream soup. For $15 it could have been better. The drinks. They put too too much ice in them. My whiskey sour turned into water sour. My friend's old fashioned was old ice with orange and cherry bitters. Very disappointing. Even with the food and drinks not being the best the music was on point. The band was awesome. The space is very very tight and limited so you will need to arrive early if you want to sit by the band. But there is also seating at the bar down the hall. And the balcony seating does not do any justice as you can't see band only hear them. They could expand if possible. I gave it 2 stars due to the food and drinks. The music pushed it to 3. I may go back but do things different depending on the time we go. And bring our own cigars is a must. It's definitely a jewel in the Old Town neighborhood. Stop by to see the band and bring your cigars. And order drinks with light to mo ice.
