Went here on Sunday June 2nd 2024 after a slow shift, and taking a brief walk. Was greeted by a smiling face of a host, and asked if i wanted to sit in the dining room, or the bar. Since sometimes i sit in the bar, I decided on the dining room. Dennis was my server, and he is the most kindest person that you'd meet. For drinks, i started with the ocean oasis, which is a blue pina colada drink that i enjoy. Also got the spinach dip as an appetizer, which is very good. For dinner, i got the philly sandwich, which is essentially friday's take on a philly cheesesteak, and with provologne. ate one half and took the other home with me. The speed of service was perfect for the occasion as I am not the type to be in any sort of rush.Dennis also made sure to check on me and my food, which was great: despite the restaurant getting a little busy. Paid via credit card and left a cash tip. Recommend having Dennis as your server. Hope to be back soon! I also recommend other servers here like Jackie/Jacqueline, Monica, Dennis, Chris, and Tom. Ask for them! Also on Mondays- Fridays from 3-6, and 9-close, we have happy hour drinks and food such as $5.00 drinks like the electric lemonade, Philly Eggrolls, Truffle Tots, Pot stickers, and many more! Other food items i recommend is the Cajun Shrimp and Chicken Pasta, Beyond Burger, Whiskey Burger, Our Whiskey Glazed Burger, our thai mango salad, and our brownie obsession for dessert! After going to a music festival and camping for 5 days we stopped here for a late dinner.. i called at 10:42pm and arrived at 12:08am, was told the kitchen closes at 12:30am and we can stay until they close at 1am, this was over the phone! When we got there we were greeted by who seemed to be the manager, he was 10/10! The bartender/waitress first told us we weren't able to sit because it was takeout only, had to see if the kitchen was open and gave us a frustrated energy from the jump, even made it seem like we were lying about calling ahead, why would i do that?? After the manager came out and confirmed we can sit for the second time, our server said we had to be "really fast" so we felt rushed. Me and my partner have both worked in the restaurant industry for 10 years and we have never said that to a table. after we sat the server was nothing but attentive and didn't rush us out. she got our order perfect, the food was cooked really well and we were out before 12:40! We got 2 double patty beyond burgers because this is the only place open this late with vegan options! After our meal, she offered to put in food to go for our trip home to long island, she definitely turned it around by being thoughtful so we appreciated that. After we left we were heading out and the door must've not click closed behind us and this barefooted man entered and sat in the waiting room for a few minutes, he got up and entered the closed dining room so looking out for the staffs safety we stayed and called and got through to the manager who quickly escorted this person out. Unfortunately I can't recommend TGI Fridays anymore. I'm so upset because it was one of my favorite restaurants growing up. We were literally there every Friday night sometimes even more. Lately this restaurant has gone wayyy down hill. The last 2 times I went here, there was only one person working and a chef. The food wasn't bad, but I felt so bad for the guy working. He was doing everything!!! Including help cook. I only know because I saw him in the back on the way to the bathroom which was pretty gross for no one in there. This restaurant really needs to get their act together and get more staff and get it back to where it used to be. My favorite meals here are the ribs, sesame chicken, steak, and of course anything with jack Daniel sauce. read more

Decided to go here tonight 2.24.2024, and it was the worst.... was seriously disappointed. Our server seemed like she could care less. Our appetizer was terrible and took a long time to come out. When the food came out, we were not hapy at all.. The food seemed like it had been done for awhile & was forgot about. We were half way done with our meal when she finally came back to ask if we wanted refills. I used to love coming here for good apps and good drinks. Came at 7:30 on a Tuesday night cause i was craving my old go to of garlic parm tossed chicken fingers and mashed potatoes. Was very quiet cause the music was very low so the atmosphere was uncomfy. They still had great afforable drinks though, although super weak. I know cheap drinks usually arent strong but after 2 without eating all day i shouldve felt something. Im generally a light weight. Then i found out they wont toss their chicken tenders anymore. I know its not the servers fault but i was pretty bummed, i dont understand why i cant get their tenders with the wing sauce. I ended up getting the wings in the parm garlic sauce and they were super crunchy and dry. Asked for extra sauce and that helped a bit. Was there on 7/15/21. As soon as we sat down we noticed the flies flying around us. We complained to the server who attempted to help by relocating us but there appeared to be an infestation of flies. I counted at least 30 flies on the walls alone. They got so bad that I asked to speak to the manager because they were on my cup and my food. The manager said that he called to have someone come and spray but they never showed up and he complained to corporate but they aren't helping them either. I told him that if that's the case he shouldn't keep seating ppl in that area because the flies are everywhere. I was going to order desert until I saw exactly how many flies were just on the walls alone. I wouldn't feel comfortable eating anything else there. This place has downgraded recently . Our waitress who had brown short hair like a boy was our waitress. She was so rude! The way she would talk to us and her mannerisms. At one point, she walked away from us when we were ordering instead of trying to be helpful - she completely walked away!! i flagged down one of the waitress to see if they can apply the healthcare worker discount and she rolled her eyes and fake laughed. This place def honors discount to healthcare workers but for some reason that night, the manager didnt want to honor it. I thought due to covid, they would at least spread us apart from other guests. We walked in (family of 4) and were seated immediately, however we waited another 25 minutes with zero contact from a waiter or waitress. Several walked past us but said nothing. We left as it was a red flag that service and food was going to be bad, which I now confirmed looking at all these reviews. Chillis was right up the road and they actually care about their customers. Also the place wasn't crowded at all, I would totally understand waiting if a place is crowded and serving good food but the staff just gives off an "I don't care attitude". Love going here to relax and destress after going to the doctor office. Went here recently to eat. Love that there is someone smiling at the front door, the hostess greeted us with a smile and sat us in a half booth, half table in the bar. If one doesn't like the bar, please polietely let the host know, lots of people wanted the dinning room instead as I was relaxing. She also mentioned about signing up for Fridays rewards, where one can get free chips and salsa, and eventually rack up points to get a free entree. Our server greeted us right away, she was also the bartender, and i believe her name was monica, always good service by her!. Love the drinks here: like the ocean Oasis, Cotton Candy Cosmo, their new hawaiian mai tai, mudslides, barbados rum punch, and electric lemonade. They also have long island iced teas, which is one of the things Fridays is famous for. I love sweet drinks the best though, and they are always delicous and refreshing. This time i ordered my usual, The Cotton Candy Cosmo, and it was very good and to my liking. highly recommend if you like sweet drinks. Next the food, I love the fridays combo- which comes with your choice of boneless or traditional wings, potato skins, and fried mosseralla, and their new menu actually lets you have the philly eggrolls with them, as well as pot stickers, and our steakhouse meatballs. I also love their cajun chicken and shrimp pasta, and like to add brocoli, and onions to it, to make it more colorful. Also love the beyond burger, which is a plant based burger that we have. Also love the Thai Mango salad, which now also comes with pot stickers and is so good! I decided to get that, and the food was fresh, and very delicous. I also love their sushi, called Krispy Rice, and my favorites are the spicy tuna roll, the salmon and yuzu roll, shrimp roll, california roll, philly roll, and the tuna and advacado roll. Sushi is always fresh and tastes very good with soy sauce! The manager fefe brought out my thai mango salad, and asked if all was well, and it was! Finally, there's desert! They have a dessert for kids called can of worms, which is pudding and gummy worms,. i'm no kid but that hits the spot! also love their brownie obssession, which is a warm brownie with vanila ice cream and pecans and carmel sauce. hits the spot every time! I understand it's Christmas and I appreciate that they are one of the only places open but holy the service is awful. Me and my buddy are the only 2 people in the place and it takes 20 minutes for our order to be taken. Then about 45 minutes later our food comes out completely wrong. I ordered the "Loaded Fry Burger" without queso and my thought was that the cheese fries would be on the burger. Boy was I wrong my burger comes out and there's no cheese or fries on my burger. The bacon is on the side as well as the queso I didn't want. My buddy ordered a plain chicken sandwich and it just wasn't plain. It had lettuce and cheese on it. I can only make the "Christmas" excuse so much. For an hour long wait the food should at least be right. Usually they aren't to bad but today just wasn't it. As I'm writing this review I'm still waiting for the food to arrive. Sent it back 10 minutes ago. The first time, it took forever to get water and food ordered. It wasn't even that busy. We gave it another go and this time 2 of 4 orders were messed up and the food was cold (again service was taking forever in a not crowded restaurant). And the last time we went. We sat for about 40 minutes and no one had come by to introduce themselves as our server, no water, so we assumed the service that day would again be slow and decided to just leave. Ugh. What's happened to this place? It's really gone downhill. Now, I know, I know...one doesn't go to a TGI Fridays expecting gourmet dining. But my mom and I used to be a fan of this location a few years ago. When you were in the mood for some very unhealthy but tasty appetizers, a good dinner salad or grilled chicken sandwich, they did things very well. I don't know if it's the new menu, a different manager, a different head cook or what, but on this recent visit just about everything was lacking. We ordered the "loaded" chicken nachos to start. There was nothing loaded about them. Very skimpy toppings, hardly any black beans or salsa, dried out little pieces of chicken. The only good thing was the chips were nice and crisp and the extra cheese sauce it came with was tasty. For the price there really should have been more toppings. My BBQ chicken salad was just ok. The menu said dressing would be on the side, as I prefer, and it came out fully dressed. Sigh. My mother's chicken sandwich, though, she declared a disaster. Too many sloppy toppings that made the whole sandwich fall apart, the palest and most pathetic tomato slices you can imagine...the only adequate part of it was the chicken itself. Even our drinks were mediocre at best, and service was pretty slow given it was mid-afternoon and there was only maybe one or two other tables there. A real disappointment. I don't think we'll be coming back again any time soon, or unless we see some indication of a vast improvement in the menu and management of this place. read more

I went to TGI Fridays and asked for a well done stake but there was a lot of blood and my niece's food was burnt when the food came. Our waitress didn't check on us at all while we were eating and we waited close to 20 minutes for our check. We had to go find our waitress to pay because again she didn't come back to the table. There was another server who we asked to find our waitress and he made excuses saying that they were busy with other customers but we could obviously see that they weren't because most of the servers (including our own) we're sitting down getting things ready for closing.They could tell that we were upset and both became upset when we complained about how he took the check out of my sister's hand. Here's the breakdown for my 4/20/21 experience. Note... The restaurant WAS NOT crowded by any means. 7:15pm: seated with my 2 sons. 7:30pm: waitress took our orders. I ordered a full rack ribs, jasmine rice and garlic bread. One of my son's ordered a burger with fries and bacon while my other son ordered a skirt steak with fries. 8:00pm: asked waitress to check on our food. 8:10pm: waitress apologizes for delay due to them being poorly staffed and assured us our meals will be coming out shortly. 8:20pm: one of my sons and I finally get our food, almost an hour after ordering. 8:30pm: I requested the waitress get a supervisor to our table since there were at this point parties that came in well after us and getting their food yet my son was still waiting for his steak for over an hour. 8:45pm: still waiting for a supervisor. Waitress tells me the supervisor is unable to see me at this time because he's in the back, cooking. She advises me I will only be charged for 2 meals and the third steak dinner that we've waitress over an hour for at this point will be "on them". 8:55pm: supervisor finally addresses me at my table and is highly apologetic about the inexcusable delay in service. He comps the full rack of ribs and the burger that was brought out to us after almost an hour wait. However, the steak my son was looking so forward to having never made it to our table. We ended up leaving 9pm on a school night to get my son Planet Wings as an alternative. Waitress was definitely apologetic about the whole matter but service like this is absolutely unacceptable! It would almost be acceptable to advise the patrons of extensive wait times before seating us. At least this way, we're able to make an informed decision to patiently wait or go elsewhere. read more

I'll start with the pros: Our waitress, Devan, was great. She had our orders customized to our liking, gave good recommendations, was attentive during our whole visit, and very pleasant in general. The food was good, the place seemed clean. It wasn't crowded, as it wasn't quite diner time yet. The cons: Some of the other employees were having conversations and making comments that they probably should have kept to themselves. The bartender could be heard complaining that he was on his last bottle of a particular ingredient and would refuse to make any drinks that called for it once it ran out. My friend saw two other employees making out, and we saw them later being very flirtatious and touchy with each other. Not what I want to see when I go out to eat. Or to any place of business, for that matter. Perhaps the staff could use some training... All in all, it's a typical Friday's restaurant. read more

On 4/22/23, my family of 14 came to eat at this Middletown,NY Fridays. They sat us in a zone with the A/C on high, and the female manager was told by our waitress and 2 other employees to turn it down. And refused to come check the temperature and did not communicate with us. Instead of setting the temperature at a comfortable level. She not only turned the heat all the way up on us. Walked in at 21:55 on a Wednesday, got seated quick and had a really nice, courteous, professional and cute waitress named Michelle, who was attentive and detail oriented enough to even keep the waters full. The new endless appetizers are so pared down it's pretty useless as uou can't change which one you get, but thank goodness she did let us alternate sauces on the boneless wings. Dislocation of Fridays, seems to have better staff than many of the other ones I've been to the Hudson Valley. At the end of the day it's still TGIFriday's, still has lackluster food, now with added restrictions, but a good deal and fun times can be had by all for a good price! read more

My wife and I had lunch here on Friday afternoon. First the good: Now the bad: It was cold outside and in the restaurant as well. My wife had the steak and I had the chicken & shrimp. Steak was ordered "medium" came out well done. Chicken was good, but there were four small shrimp and seven shells. You do the math. Service.. Same as most reviews, very very slow. Actually when we complained about the steak the manager took the meal off the bill and gave us an additional 20% discount. Although it was the right thing to do it didn't make up for the problems with the food. Sorry but probably won't be going back. Outback and Chillis are within walking distance. read more
