Great bakery with a clean dining room, large outdoor seating area, and very friendly staff. They didn't have a huge selection but we also got there around 10:30am on a Wednesday and heard her telling other guests that they sold out of a lot. The breakfast sandwiches were delicious and we loved the small quiche as well. The quiche took about 10-15min to heat up in the oven and then they brought it outside to us. Absolute gem! We grabbed a little of everything (that was available), and every single thing impressed us. Just a heads up- get there early because they sell out quickly- it's that good! It's always fun to find a spot for a wonderful dessert or sweet treat. The ideal dessert must have just the right consistency, a certain squishiness, is it soft or hard? It must ooze freshness. Importantly, a delicious dessert must be sweetened to perfection and utilize all the right ingredients. This family operated bakery in Englewood knows how to pull this all together. They clearly possess the skills, ingredients and tools to provide consumers with baked perfection. We stumbled across this place on a bike ride through Englewood. There were five of us and we sampled and shared a variety of their offerings, including fruit tarts and baked goods. Everything was fresh and delicious. We drank coffee with our treats and sat at the tables outside in the shade. Our tasting came together nicely and we felt like connoisseurs of desserts by the time we were finished. The owner joined us outside for an interesting chat. We learned all about their family's culinary background and their business aspirations going forward. This epicurean family is the real deal in the food business. Now I'll definitely have to return to Sassy Tarts on a regular basis to try all of their offerings. Salute! read more

Omgoodness, the owner is a European skilled pastry chef, her desserts are simply to die for, the quality is exceptional & what a sweet little hidden gem at the entrance of Rotonda circle. There are three components to this owner occupied business... Sassy Tarts & Sweets, home created wood fired pizza & a delightful sexy little bistro beyond the barn door. OMG! I wish I never went because now I'M GOING TO HAVE TO GO 3 TIMES A WEEK! SOOOO GOOD! I got the pesto bacon quich it was the best I have ever had! The crust was fantastic and the eggs were so fluffy and creamy, just enough flavor without being over powering with the fillings. I got a Blackberry Almond Tart that was beyond Delicious my only regret was not also getting the peach almond one and a Blue berry Key Lime pie! The filling was sooo good not to sweet and the crust was rich and buttery. I also got a Almond Raspberry Cup cake, the icing was very sweet (a little to sweet for my liking, but most people like that, the cake was ok it had a good flavor but nothing amazing. Definitely would try other deserts and go back again and again for the Quiche and Tarts. I was so overwhelmed with the massive pastry selection when I came in I didn't realize they have a whole other side to the display cases that offers tons of Savory options, sandwichs, soups and Pizza, also offering a large Coffee selection. Can't wait to go back and try more things. They had tons of options definitely something for everyone and definitely not low on any items.
