We stumbled upon this hole in the wall place while traveling and we were pleasantly surprised. It's a mishmash of decor in an old bank building. Our server, didn't get his name but "Amz" was on the receipt, was pleasant and friendly. No alcohol here just beer, wine, and sake, and not a huge menu. We ordered dumplings, tuna special roll, pad Thai pork, and chicken satay. He brought us some kind of soup which was really delicious and full of flavor. The chicken satay was juicy, and the dumplings were very tasty. My tuna roll was terrific, I like when the nori is on the inside and the rice is on the outside. RJ's pad Thai was chicken and not the pork he ordered. The server got it right as it's on the receipt as pork, so the cook got it wrong. I orders my food over the phone, the guy told me 20-25 mins. I arrived at the restaurant 30 mins later and the cook told me she had a lot of orders and my order was not ready yet. So I sat and waited another 20 minutes. The waitress called my name and took my card for payment but when I looked at the receipt, it was for someone else's order. I told her that was not my order and they had to refund the first charge then charge me again for the correct order. Now for the food, this was the worst chicken pad Thai I have ever had. I opened the box and all I could smell was burnt food. It had absolutely no taste at all. The spring rolls were not bad but not great either. My son ordered steak fried rice and he was not thrilled with the taste. We won't be returning for seconds. read more

We were pleasantly surprised at how tasty the Thai food was. We started out with Spring Rolls. They were crunchy and delicious. I ordered Thai Curry with a spice level of 2. It had a nice kick to it. It was a little sweet but so delicious with the perfect consistency. My husband enjoyed his Sweet & Sour Pork. It wasn't fried. Great sauce. We also had other dishes which we shared and also took home leftovers. I really enjoyed the fried rice. It was perfectly spiced and not greasy. I think this spot just recently changed locations! It's actually located in the same plaza as Winn Dixie now. It's pretty decent Thai food and I think their menu has unique things that I really want to try like the Tom Yum ramen. I got the chicken Pad Thai to try out something generic first and it was yummy! I would recommend asking for a lime on the side to get some citrus in there to brighten up the flavor. The Tom Kha soup is also good and coconut-y. 10/10 recommend. I would definitely give this place a shot if you're craving Thai and love around the area/live on the military base! read more

I was recommended this restaurant by coworkers however I had a horrible experience. Upon entering the restaurant, my guest and I were not greeted. After 15 minutes we were given our seat which was the first red flag because the restaurant was not really busy. Probably about 3 small tables at the time. I noticed that all other tables received water expect ours after 10 minutes of sitting we were asked what drinks we would like. I had ordered Sake and a Thai tea which was also not given to us until 20 minutes and we never were checked up on nor given waters at the table. Quite frankly we were the only African American customers at the establishment and were the only customers to receive this treatment. I ended up paying for the drinks and walking out. The waitress also had the nerve to tell me "you only get water if you ask" when it was apparent all the other guests DID NOT ASK. I also have a business in NYC and yes we are all human but that was no mistake. It's sad to know that in 2023 this is how we are treating customers. There was no apology or discount etc. Regardless there is no justification of why we were treated so badly. Nonetheless I went to Green Papaya in JAX where the ambiance was nicer, staff were sweet and restrooms/ tables were much more cleanly. Please DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE! read more

THIS IS NOT REAL THAI. We stoped at this restaurant 1 mile from I95.on our drive up from Florida expecting good food and service. BIG MISTAKE. This establishment took over 1hr to complete our order. Many of the dishes were incorrect and dissapointing. Soggy noodles, salty pad thai, drowning in a soy heavy sauce. Spring roll was black on the inside. THE SUSHI WAS BEING MADE BY A COLLEGE STUDENT WHO APPARENTLY HAD NO TRAINING... UNEVEN, SMALL AND TASTELESS UGH! I could not finish my meal. Our experience was so bad the owner offered a 20% discount on our meal. This establishment needs to hire a real Thai and sushi chef . read more

My son wanted Ramon so on the way to Walmart to get some packs, I decided to try this place. What a find. The Ramon was superb. The dumplings were perfect. I wish I had a bigger gut because of all the items I would have tried. I will eat through the menu. Oh yeah, They have sushi too. read more

A great little restaurant tucked away in a small shopping center. The inside is nice and clean every visit, the servers have always been nice and attentive and the food is always great their ramen and stir fry noodles are delicious and it's not pr. The chef sometimes even goes out into the dinning room to check on customers. The restaurant doesn't get the love it deserves. Do yourself a favor and check it out. read more

There seems to be a change of owner or chef. This use to be our favorite, but after tonight, I would not recommend this restaurant. Service was questionable and seems to be run by college kids that doesn't really care to be there. Tea - this happens to be my favorite drink in this place. Tonight, it was just straight awful. The messed up the mixture of tea and water which made the tea more bitter. No sugar could have helped it. Sushi - we decided on one order of Dragon Roll and the texture was pasty. The presentation was not professional looking. They also added the ingredients that we specifically asked to not add. My husband and I would normally go to a higher priced place for sushi but we were wanting to try something local. We didn't except the food to be that bad with it having 3.5 stars, but boy let me tell you, we knew right away with the fried calamari, then came the soup, salty as hell. Then the fish which looked like they had just picked it up from the Walmart down the street. After not finishing the food they prepared, someone came out and asked why we didn't eat it. With any language barrier it's hard to convey what you really mean but they just kept on pryin. Asking if we knew what was in the roll when we bought it, implying we didn't eat it because we didn't want crab or shrimp. We didn't eat it because it was foul, not because we didn't read what we ordered. We brought some plain salmon rolls home for our dogs and they wouldn't even eat them and they eat everything. We stopped in Kingsland overnight on a road trip and went to this restaurant based on the reviews, but it was a disappointment. Essentially, the food was flavorless. The food came very slowly. The curry was not flavorful. The Tom Yum soup also lacks flavor. Stir fry cashew had few cashews and the chicken was very dry. We stopped by here a month ago and ordered takeout during our road trip. All three of us ordered Panang Curry and I ordered medium spice and two others ordered super mild. All three came back Thai hot with no variation between any of them. The curry absolutely tasted as from a mix rather than fresh. The spice level was so hot that the two others in the party returned it and asked for Pad Thai instead. The two others in my party claimed the Pad Thai tasted like drunken noodles. As for me and my #6 on a spice scale of 1-5, I gastrointestinaly suffered for two days (no exaggeration). I eat Thai on an at least a biweekly basis and when I pay well for a dinner, I expect to at least get what I ordered the way I ordered it off the menu. the food is always amazing i've never had a bad experience and they give you a complimentary clear soup if you're dining in and that's amazing itself, i love the sushi there and the portions are big, it's a standard 8 pieces but they put a lot in there, i get full after 6, my bf got they're house ramen one of the last times we went and it was a huge portion and absolutely delicious. the staff do absolutely everything, but they do it so well and i've never waited more then 15 mins to get my food after ordering. i've never ever been disappointed, the staff are always so sweet and the foods delicious, i absolutely recommend, it's the best sushi i've had here hands down! read more

Service was friendly and prompt, that's where the good experience ended. The sushi chef acted as though he was doing me a favor. The rolls were small in inadequate by any standard, I got a few pieces of yellow tail that was fishy/ old and yet still partially frozen. I predict this place won't be in business long. This place is terrible. Worst experience I've ever had at a restaurant. First didn't have salmon which was fine. After ordering a pick up order I was quoted 30 mins for pick up. I showed up 35 mins and was told just a few more. No problem. But after an hour of waiting I had to leave. I went back food was ready. Got home and all my sushi rolls were broken and scattered in the Togo box. IThere were no sauces or wasabi after I asked for extra since there were 4 of us eating. I called and the young lady who took the order said sorry and her and the cook were brand new I asked to speak with a manager. The same girl said the owner and manager were not there. I told her I didn't believe a manager or owner would leave a business to two brand new employees. Finally someone got on the phone who couldn't speak English nothing got resolved.
