The staff were nice, and although it was packed and busy, they were friendly and worked fairly efficiently! Food was delicious, felt clean and had great portion sizes! The pork was crispy and had a really good sweet peanut flavor that worked really well together. We also ordered the spicy beef salad and asked for medium. It was VERY spicy, but I like spicy food so I was totally fine with it. That said, if medium is supposed to be the middle of the road, I'd say this definitely leans hotter than expected. Overall, everything was good and I'd come back if I was in the area, but it's a very casual spot. Definitely not a date night kind of place, more of a quick, laid back meal when you're craving Vietnamese or Southeast Asian food.

I've been to a few which you think they'll be good but it was a little disappointing. Alway hunting for amazing Thai food... My second time here and it's good. Of course with this heat wave, it's so hot to sit outside which the patio tends to be pretty off limit in the heat. Unless you prefer it. We came for dinner which was still pretty early. There's two main entrance, the front and the side/back where the patio is. And two dining area, front and back. Well we walked in, it was a little daunting as we were the only one there. That does have an effect of do we stay or leave. Anyways, we stayed as we enjoyed our meal last time. It did pick up during our meal. Service was great with our waiter. Constantly refilling our waiter without us having to mentioned it. Menu wise, a good amount of Thai dishes that you would be familiar with. The only downfall, they don't have noodle soup which is a favorite for me. If a restaurant has it, that's a plus. Well they don't carry it. Also there's a bar so that's good as well. Honestly it doesn't matter to me with Thai food if they bring out starters before or with the meal. I'm going to enjoy it regardless. Food, we had the chicken larb. Minced meat with Thai spices and a nice sour sauce. So good and had it with a side of rice. That's normally served with cabbage but this time it's with Napa cabbage. Never had it that way but it was still good. Entrees, the spicy noodles. So many different names for them but all the same. Thin rice noodle with whatever protein and slice veggies all tossed together with a nice sauce on top of lettuce. Some places add that while others don't. Lastly the massaman curry, with carrots, potatoes and peanuts in a rich curry sauce. The food was good and very tasty. Portion wise was plentiful and perfect for a main or à la carte with friends. I'm alway on the hunt for amazing Thai food and this place is quite nice.

The complimentary vegan rice porridge was amazing. Very peppery with black pepper, some garlic and ginger and just so flavorful. I could have eaten a big bowl of that and called it dinner. Our drinks - Vietnamese iced coffee and the ube cocktail - were good. The cod was absolutely amazing. The chicken ball in curry sauce was delicious though with all the salty curry sauce I felt like it also needed rice. The tea leaf salad was good, but pretty mild. I'd order a different salad or appetizer next time and come with a big group so I could try a bit of everything. The food at the tables next to us also looked so good! Service was friendly and pretty attentive despite being busy. I'd come back.

My two go-to appetizers are the spring rolls and the fried tofu. The spring rolls have a lot of lettuce in them, which I like. They are cut up into smaller pieces than a Vietnamese place might do. It comes with a peanut sauce. The fried tofu has a dipping sauce, but I tend to supplement with the little caddy of sauces on the table. I've gotten noodles and tofu dishes at this location. They're always fine; never quite what I am hoping for, but good. The place is quite small and sometimes a little warm. (I totally understand saving money on AC, when there aren't many people coming in.) Food comes out pretty fast. Iced tea is served in a big to go cup, which I appreciate. Prices are reasonable. Portion sizes are pretty big.

The staff is very pleasant and friendly. The food is typically well prepared and tasty. Portion sizes had also been above average. Our most recent order was a bit of a shock. Prices have soared, portions have shrunk and some of the food prep was dismal. The food still tasting good was a consolation. One item we ordered was chicken lettuce wraps. The seasoned ground chicken tasted good and then there was lettuce. The lettuce "leaves" consisted of 4 pita chip sized core piece. No wrapping was going to happen with this. Moving forward, we get our Thai elsewhere.

It's about a 12min drive west of I-10, located in a small business park strip mall. It's absolutely worth the diversion. They have a small section with groceries, and a larger area with refrigerated goods. I tried El Cubano (no tomato, no cabbage), Potato Salad, and Key Lime Parfait. El Cubano was actually delicious. Their thinly sliced and seasoned seitan was perfect, as was the accompanying sauces and toasted bread. I'd order this on repeat if I lived nearby. I was surprised by how great the potato salad was. It had the perfect mayo/mustard balance, which is extremely difficult to find. I need a gallon of this. The key lime parfait was ok. I expected more (in terms of flavor, not quantity), but it was not bad. I've just had much better so I wouldn't order it again. I'd be willing to try a different dessert next time. It was gluten free so that's a plus! There were many other things on the menu that caught my eye, but I only have one tummy. If we'd had a cooler I would've grabbed some tuNo salad, Egg-y salad, smoked chick'n & pasta, and CTK tempeh pâté from their refrigerated section, because everything looked delicious. But now I have the perfect excuse to return to CTK on my next PHX-LAX drive.

I also love their little store section with the faux meats, seasonings, and merchandise. I ordered the bowl of chili, the Chupacabra sandwich and the Guadalajara burger. The chili was so flavorful and I enjoyed learning that they use Rancho Gordo beans. The Guadalajara burger had great toppings but as much as I try, I'm not the biggest fan of Tempeh. The chupacabra sandwich was good, the menu said that the 'chicken' is thinly sliced, I didn't realize just how thin it is. I think I would have preferred if it were slightly thicker and less cabbage. There was so much cabbage that it overpowered the rest of the sandwich. Overall, I think this place is a gem and I'd like to try their other menu items.
