Everytime we've been it's always been a nice experience. It's one of our go to place if we can't figure out what to have. Nothing too fussy but an easy eats. A mixture of Vietnamese and Laos dishes. It's pretty much a mixture of southeast Asian. Restaurant itself isn't that big. There's patio seating out front but I've never seen it been utilize. Inside has a bar area with some bar seating. I believe it's a full bar as some of the cocktails are specialty on the menu. Service has alway been great all the times we've been. Menu has pretty much loads of everything. Your stater of springs rolls, papaya salad, and so on. Mains of course pho with different option, noodles dishes, and pretty much loads of other flavorful dishes. I tend to alway get the same thing whenever we're here. Started off with two cocktails, on of the pink martini which was tasty and strong. One was enough for me. And the other was somewhat of a dragon drink. It was quite tasty. Food, we always get the papaya salad Laos style. That comes with sticky rice and beef jerky. It's a must if you like papaya salad. You could also get it the classic way. And the deluxe pho which comes with all the meats. You can choose two items as the main or add additional for a fee. It's easier to just go with the deluxe. That's come with the bean sprouts, Thai basil and jalapeño slices and lime wedges. Broth is good. Nothing major but still good. Potion is a little smaller than other places. Plus it's one size only as well. Another dish, the beef stew served with baguettes bread for dipping. It was quite tasty. Nice decent chunks of brisket in a flavorful broth with veggies. The food has alway been good. Service is alway excellent and the staff are always so friendly and efficient. It's an easy eats place that does fill you up. Plenty of parking in the lot out back and parking structure across the street. Street parking available as well.

Good Vietnamese food. I had the Egg Rolls & Lettuce, and the Classic Spring Rolls. The Egg Rolls & Lettuce were really, crisp and tasty. The fresh lettuce, mint, and cleantro add to the egg rolls flavor. The Classic Spring Rolls were good too. I liked the peanut sauce that goes well with these chewy and fresh spring rolls. The service was great. Got greeted and seated right away. The server was very attentive. The ambiance was a little mixed. We sat outside, and though the day was nice out, there was traffic and construction near. Maybe next time I'll sit inside.

The beef jerky, papaya salad, and sticky rice I ordered was okay. I wished I ordered something else. I've had other beef jerky that tasted a lot better. It was too hard and didn't have the food overall didn't have the flavor I was expecting. The service was good. The Thai tea was also good. Prices were okay. Restaurant is nice.

Very good dining experience. There was only one server and he covered everything. We were one of two couples when we arrived. But look out here they come. At least 20 people and still he served everyone. We started with spring rolls and a tangy red sauce for dipping. Freshly made and excellent. Then Koi Pba (golden triangle), lightly seared Ahi Tuna, salmon and poached shrimp on an extravagant salad with two sauces and sticky rice. She had beef pho which she raved about. Mango boba finished me off. Beautiful inside with a ceiling of paper lanterns and decorative designs on the walls and ceilings. This is a wonderful restaurant for Vietnamese or Lao cuisine. Each dish was made fresh and the seasoning was true to the origins of the dishes.

I love this place First time in my while life to dine in and the servers greeted ne "Happy Friday". They are so nice. I love the food. Everythinh is small serving though. Food is always expensive here in Palm Spring because of limited resources. But I love everything about this place. The food, the ambience, people and parking. They have plenty at the back of the building. Will come back for sure

Nice, pleasant looking restaurant with good service. Partly because I have trouble finding Lao cuisine and partly because it sounded delicious, I ordered the Golden Triangle (koi pa), which is lightly seared tuna, salmon, poached shrimp mixed in kaffir lime leaves, lemongrass, fresh chili, cilantro, mint, shallots with tamarind paste, lime juice and fish sauce. This dish had those unique Lao spices I was hoping it would have. They are delicious. I should mention that I ordered this medium, and it came out blazing hot. And bear in mind that I'm someone who has traveled in Thailand twice, and India six times, including Kashmir. In other words, I am used to hot food and love it. But I would say that this dish's "medium" is most people's "hot." There is a free parking structure on the other side of Palm Canyon Drive. Definitely, definitely recommended. The food is fresh and delicious, the place is pleasant, and the service is good. What more can you ask for?

    Vegan curry noodles....delicious.

The vegan curry noodles are SO GOOD! Ask for them to be very spicy. They use Thai peppers & this adds good heat & flavor. They also have purple mango sticky rice made with coconut milk rather than condensed milk. They add honey but you can just veganize it by asking for it without the honey. Did I mention the good selection of yummy cocktails? My friends are carnists & they also thought their meals were delicious. The restaurant is cute & the staff is friendly.

Food was delicious and service was great, can't wait to come back. We had Lao Dishes, taste very authentic. We came back two days in a row!

Came in with my son for lunch while visiting the city. The atmosphere is nice - blue cloud ceiling w paper lanterns was pretty but the food was ok. I had the spicy tofu & asked for medium heat & it was so spicy that I had tears in my eyes, and the flavor of the dish was just ok, aside from the red pepper flakes, not much flavor. CC accepted

    Pad Thai
    Lynn L.

ORDER pad thai (3/5) the menu is diverse... they have lao, viet, and thai options. i was surprised to see so many people rave about the pad thai here. it was tasty, but definitely not authentic. the noodles were wrong, they use pho noodles here. as for flavor, i can best describe it to be similar to curry. we tried other dishes as well, one being bo kho. the meat was tender, but again the flavor isn't like authentic bo kho. i also tried the thai tea, which was tasty and for a good price during happy hour! SERVICE we were seated immediately. nothing special about the service, but nothing to complain about. AMBIANCE the restaurant is spacious. there's a free parking lot near the back, as well as street parking.

Dropped in on a Sunday evening and we got lucky with street parking and a table right away at Fuzion Five. There's a mix of Asian foods here, but we tried the pho and fried rice. Both were decent, but the pho was quite small for almost $20. Also recommend to skip the happy hour offerings and stick to the menu.

    Jessica M.

I bought a pho and shrimp fried rice, the both that was in the container was filled less than half way which was so disappointing. I took out the meatballs and i couldn't believe how skimpy and sketchy this was. Then I opened the fried rice which was even worst because they only filled half way of the container. For the price you pay, it ain't worth eating here. You might as well drive to pho of the desert. And when you give them a feedback they don't care. He said in his own words that's how they feed people there. Lol wish I could show you how much broth was given. Normally broth is given more than half but nope.

We made 4 transactions over 2 days that definitely added up to just shy of $200. The cashier that was a young guy was great because he told us that there was actually a 2nd location not too far away that made specialty coffee drinks & ice cream. We rushed over there to try the ice cream & I also ordered the matcha with lavender that they make that tastes authentic, the flavor was incredible, (not like the fake stuff that the most famous coffee place on earth sells that smells funny). The cashier at the other location was super kind, knowledgeable, & very easy to talk to, I asked several questions & was indecisive before placing my order yet she was patient & friendly. The guy that made my ice cream came over to ask me if I would like blueberries with the strawberries in the shortcake ice cream, it was some of the best vegan ice cream that I've ever tried, along with excellent customer service, I highly recommend going there. We were visiting all the way from Vegas & tried Chef Tanya's because we were actually staying in Pioneertown for a show & there aren't any vegan restaurants in the area so we had to drive to Palm Springs. Overall it's pretty good, they have a lot of choices for food & it's also a small store with interesting food & decorative items, I bought some vegan chocolate caramels that are made from coconut instead of dairy.

I also love their little store section with the faux meats, seasonings, and merchandise. I ordered the bowl of chili, the Chupacabra sandwich and the Guadalajara burger. The chili was so flavorful and I enjoyed learning that they use Rancho Gordo beans. The Guadalajara burger had great toppings but as much as I try, I'm not the biggest fan of Tempeh. The chupacabra sandwich was good, the menu said that the 'chicken' is thinly sliced, I didn't realize just how thin it is. I think I would have preferred if it were slightly thicker and less cabbage. There was so much cabbage that it overpowered the rest of the sandwich. Overall, I think this place is a gem and I'd like to try their other menu items.

For appetizers, our favorites were the crispy ginger green beans (so flavorful and tasty!), the hand-rolled crispy egg rolls (yum!); and the crunchy tiger shrimp spring rolls (freshy and tasty; liked these better than the poached shrimp spring rolls or mango spring rolls). For entrees, our top favorites were the (1) chicken protein bowl w/ fresh seasonal vegetables in a delicious sauce w/ a touch of chili oil and tamari soy sauce; (2) the sweet tamari glazed salmon w/ wok fried rice noodles nad peanut tamarind sauce; and (3) the pad thai trio (w/ pork, chicken & shrimp). The tiger shrimp vermicelli w/ shrimp wontons (like a crispy egg roll), was good, but not the best I've had; noodles were thicker than usual. The spicy red curry ramen w/ pork belly had a very flavorful sauce, but the coconut broth made it quite heavy. The Vietnamese crepe w/ pork & shrimp was good, but had too many bean sprouts. The Fried Chicken was good, and very generous portion, but had a lot of breading and bones. Next time would like to try the pho. They also have a happy hour, currently 5-6 pm at the bar and outdoors w/ cocktail, wine, beer and appetizer specials. Friendly service and nice ambiance. Would definitely return!

Delightful menu surprises ensued and this time I was taken to a new culinary level with the Chili Osso Buca bowl. How could I ever have the traditional Osso Buca again having tried this transformative vision! We also were introduced to the lobster popcorn (I leave the description to your imagination...because the preparation will surprise you with culinary delight!). Fellow guests had their usual preferred bowls, a vegetarian pad Thai that was worth singing about and some wonderful grilled pork and veggies. Trying to plan our next visit to this gem in the desert. Hopefully it is soon. The service, as always is the very best, whether you are a regular or first time visitor, chairs are comfortable and indoor and outdoor seating satisfies every happy customer.
