Located in beautiful downtown Winter Garden, Thai Blossom is a good choice for a casual or dressed up meal. Food: I ordered the Pad Kee Mow with tofu (see pic). The meal had an unmistakable taste of basil but also consisted of flat noodles, veggies, and tofu. I ordered my noodles "spicy hot" and though the spice level was good for me, the salt level was not. The dish was so salty it was almost inedible. Service: Our server was pleasant and attentive to our needs. Checks were split correctly and food was accurate. Was a bit disappointed as we asked for medium but they forgot to add any spices to our dishes. The garden delight was a huge disappointment. The veggies were soaked in the watery sauce. We met some friends for a Sunday lunch. We tried to wait for them, but eventually we ordered the Summer Rolls while we waited for our dining companions to arrive. They came out in relatively short order. The order has 2 large Summer Rolls that are stuffed full. They had a great fresh flavor. The peanut soy dip was good, too. Our daughters got the kid's Fried Rice, 1 chicken and 1 shrimp. It was a generous helping if rice with egg mixed in and the protein on top. It was nothing special, but I am sure it is perfect for picky kids. I ordered the Thai Basil Chicken hot, but not Thai Hot. The meal had a great flavor. There was just enough heat without being overwhelming. The heart-shaped white rice was a hit with all. The cost for the 4 meals was very reasonable. We got there early... 5PM and there were only one or two other tables filled but the place soon began to fill up. The service was prompt and excellent... in fact, just after one server took our drink order another stopped by to see if we had been helped yet. I had the Fried Tofu app then the Hawaiian Pineapple entree with chicken. I do not prefer spicy/hot Thai dishes and these were mild unless otherwise requested. I don't recall the names of my friends' dishes but they enjoyed them very much. -- I'm not sure if it's a website glitch but the "Full Menu" is only showing a small portion of their very generous menu. Also ordered the Thai iced tea. Some of the ladies ordered hot jasmine tea. The only thing i had a concern with(it's not a huge deal) was that we wished all of the food came out together. Everything tasted like it came frozen from Costco!!! Just awful. Nothing, absolutely nothing tasted freshly prepared.

If you have kids with a sweet tooth, you might have found your mecca. If, however, you're an adult who loves great Thai food, stay away. You initially are struck by how spartan the table settings are: no spices, no sauces, no table decor...nothing except a single napkin and spoon/fork in a sharing bowl. Everything seems to be amply priced, generally you'll pay a minimum $15 or better for a small portioned entree -- no lunch specials either. The service was adequate and prompt, businesslike and uncharismatic. We first ordered an appetizer sampler plate which had tiny servings of most of their popular apps such as crab rangoon, fried dumplings, spring rolls, etc. -- all served with merely one, overly sweet, orange sauce at the center of the plate. Again, unless you are a sugar-holic you will recognize that your food has no real Thai flavors nor culinary interest. The same with our upcoming entree: Chicken Pad Thai that, although ordered medium-spicy, contained nary a hint of heat -- nor much flavor of any kind except a now-familiar sickeningly sweet flavor which not only detracted from the appetizers, but also dominates the base sauce of the Pad Thai. The skinny, flavorless noodles were reminiscent of bland vermicelli but with less body. A faint smattering of finely shredded carrot and tiny peanut granules accompanied the bean sprouts atop the limp, flavorless noodles of the Pad Thai. Only a couple of tiny bits of green onion slightly enhanced the unremarkable presentation. One of the poorer examples of a Thai meal I have ever had -- the only good notations I could offer would be the appetizers were fried correctly, and the lemon-flavored water with our meal was welcomed on the hot Florida day of our visit. Price was reasonable, $8.95. Proper measures for guests protection were enforced, waitresses wore masked and kept a good distance to keep everyone at ease. Wow so good! Our daughter took her Mom and me out for my birthday. It's in quaint Winter Garden and on a warm Friday night in March the town was bustling. We got right in about 7pm, greeted by the cheery staff and brought right to our table. Within a couple of minutes one of the staff took our drink order. Then two others came by because they thought we were waiting. What an efficient crew! We ordered Pad Thai, a combo app platter and a spicy beef noodle dish - maybe Pad Kow Me but I'm old I could be waaay off. I had a Thai Iced Tea with cream and it was so delicious. I had to stop myself from guzzling it! The meals were all so delicious, well presented and plentiful. I had the spicy beef dish and I couldn't have been happier. It was light yet was filled with complex flavors. I loved it. Pad Thai is usually just ehhh it gets buried under all the components. Again, it tasted so fresh that I had to stick my chopsticks in for a couple of tastes! My wife said that the spring rolls on the combo app platter were the best she had ever eaten and we do a lot of Asian food. I was Asian in a prior life and I am hoping I return as a dumpling and noodle tester! Oh yeah! We had an order of summer rolls! They were so big and round they could have been a meal themselves but trust me, they were not. The two large rolls came with a properly thickened peanut sauce that actually poured onto the roll, not the overly thick versions you sometimes get. The main young lady who took care of us was so nice and attentive and funny! We loved our experience. The place was packed during all of this on a Friday night. Don't be intimidated by the crowds. The server was extremely nice and attentive and never complained once, need extra sauce? "No problem" need extra to go bags "I'll be right back with those" and always with a smile on her face. The service was excellent, only thing better than the service was the FOOD! . The fried rice is better than any hibachi or thai restaurant i've ever been too. The stag is friendly and professional and highly knowledgeable about the menu. We order the fried wontons as an appetizer, they were crisp and the ground chicken was tasty. When I lived in Boston, I lived in an apartment above a Thai restaurant. Their food was so good that when the King of Thailand was in town they would shut down and the royal family would buy tons and tons of food. I remember the food was so good that we went there at least once a week. Thai Blossom is the closest I have ever found to that restaurant in Boston. The panang is my favorite dish and it is so creamy and yummy. Service is great and friendly.
