The temaki wasn't bad, but the fish was a little dull looking and mushy so I'm not sure it was as fresh as the hand roll. I likely wouldn't visit touken again. King Salmon with truffle cream and miso sauce was so ridiculously delicious, rich, buttery, melt in your mouth goodness. 4. Hotate with spicy tobanjan aioli was smoky, sweet, spicy, and oh so creamy. 5. Uni from Japan was perfectly briny, sweet, and creamy. If you're an uni lover this is for you. Seasoned with togarashi, I assume a little kewpie mayo, maybe green onion, and some pickled daikon. Perfect heat, fresh, and a nice crunch and lift from the pickled daikon. We began our meal with Agedashi Tofu, which is fried cubes of tofu that have a magnificently thin layer of a crisp skin encasing melted tofu, and there's a perfect sauce to dip them in.
