OK first of all I love Thai chili because it has some good food. However, they always have the worst service ever. So I order a Thai tea and get a little more than half of the cup filled so I asked if I can get a full cup of tea (I probably wouldn't have even asked if the other half wasn't just ice btw) and that girl tells me that she'll have to charge me one dollar.. mhmm seriously? Thai Chili has some of the best Thai food in Corvallis. I have eaten at Thai Chili and I have taken it home as takeout. Both times it has been incredibly delicious. They have different levels of spice so make sure you choose what you can handle. The top one is intense. In the summer it is really nice to sit out on the patio. Vegetarian options or substitute options for meals. Good flavors and large amounts of food. They don't answer the phone habitually even though everyone wants to-go orders. Small space so be prepared for a 30 minute take out wait time or longer for in the restaurant. We love the pad thai! read more

Most authentic thai restaurant in town. They offer sticky rice with most mains and you can have sticky rice and mango for dessert when in season. My favourite is the green papaya salad (som tam) with sticky rice and grilled chicken or their pad se ew. read more

Excellent - my Thai kids say it is really good which is high praise indeed. Sometimes gets a bit overstretched at busy times which leaves you waiting which I hate, but I am a Farang (Westerner) after all so I need to learn to relax. Will do specials for you if you know what you want - which I don't - but my kids always ask for off menu things and get it. read more

My favorite Thai food in Benton County by far. Pad Thai and Khao Soi are both amazing and authentic based on my experience with these foods on the streets of Bangkok. Spiciness is on a 1-5 scale which is helpful for varying preferences. I prefer 3 for a comfortably spicy meal. read more

Thai Chili has an extensive and authentic menu to choose from. I used to only eat red curry when I'd have Thai food, but bringing an adventurous appetite to Thai Chili is well worth your time. For a good place to start I'd recommend the spring rolls. They are always fresh, and come with a delicious peanut sauce. Another great thing about this place is that you can try curries that are traditionally very hot, like the green curry, but ask that the spice is kept at a minimum. If you're like me and have only tried one or two curries, Thai Chili is perfect for your exploration. read more

This is the story of the worst dining experience of my life. We sat outside because it was very crowded. The waiter took our order 3 times because he kept forgetting what we ordered. Our appetizer and hot tea came out fine although it did take awhile. The real issue is that my friend's food came but not mine. 20+ minutes passed without being checked on by a staff member and no food for me. Finally a waiter came to take the order of a neighboring table and I flagged him down. He said my order had not been made but they would make it right away and not charge me. I'm upset but its not this other waiter's fault and that seems like an ok solution. Then my food comes (Pad Kee Mao), and its completely flavorless. The tofu was totally raw and the noodles just tasted like wet spaghetti. Even though I was really hungry I couldn't eat it. My friend and I just left it with some cash for her food and the app. (I've never seriously considered walking out of a bill before but I was tempted this time) We got takeout from another restaurant and as we passed Thai Chilli 25 minutes later they were just clearing our table. Clearly we would have been waiting a long time to get any service. I've never had such a terrible dining experience. I love thai food and have had it in many cities. Sometimes it's great, sometimes it's just ok, but I've never had Pad Kee Mao, or any other dish, taste so bland. I've never been totally ignored at a restaurant for so long. Terrible service. Two friends and I were told that the only table available is by the door (and shaky), because others were reserved. Ironically, less than five minutes later, two girls WITHOUT ANY RESERVATION came in and got a larger and more comfortable table inside. How come I even mentioned this place to some of my friends before. Although it is not serving authentic Thai food as claimed, it used to be cheaper than most Thai/Asian kitchen near OSU. But from March 28th this place increased the price, and got much worse service. Won't recommend it to anyone from now on. read more

Fantastic restaurant. The staff has always been super active every time I have gone there, and they're super friendly if you just want to sit at the bar and chat. The atmosphere is pretty decent though it does get loud and the countless cameras are a little unnerving, but it's not a huge deal. If you can sit outside in the summer you absolutely should! My favorite dish (so far) is the Khao Soi, I have yet to eat somewhere that has one as good as theirs! read more

Was going to give 4 stars, but some small things irritated me before we even sat down. We found this place on yelp and decided to give it a try. We were in town for an OSU football game and wanted to eat first. Hours on yelp showed restaurant open from 11-9, however we got here at 3 and the hours have now changed to open at 330 on Saturdays. Then we get seated when they finally open and I needed to use the restroom, but waiter informs me there is no public bathroom (well fine, I'll just hold it.) maybe he was new because my husband saw the bathroom "for customers only" and solved that problem. Then waiter brings us our water but doesn't offer anything else to drink. I guess you have to ask? Was starting to get really annoyed, but didn't want to give up on the place yet. Finally ordered our food and the food was great. I had the Penang curry and it was amazing. If you don't care about the little nuisances and only want great food, this is your place. Or if you're prepared for the nuisances beforehand. If I were to rate the food only, it would be 4.5 stars. But, I'm going with 3. read more

my girlfriend and i recently moved to corvallis from eugene and were excited to try all of the new eateries this town has to offer. it was my girlfriends birthday and she was in the mood for some thai food so we looked up some thai places near where we live and came across thai chili. the pictures and reviews looked like it had some good potential so we decided to try out a thai classic, pad kee mao. my girlfriend got it with tofu and i decided to try the pork. as soon as we took our first bite we knew we had made a mistake! it was so bland that i dont even think they used any salt! let alone all the other spices it should have on it,garlic ginger,etc. on top of that it was sooo greasy yuck. i would recommend this place to NO ONE! read more

Good food, friendly people but poor service.

Spiders in the food!! My husband and I have been eating here for a while now, and while it isn't the best pho around its one of the only places in town where you can get it. Well... Last Friday I ordered salad rolls and chicken pho to pick up. When we got it home, my husband saw a little brown spider crawl out of the salad roll box. I've never gone here and I decided to give it a try. As I walked in, the restaurant was small, but cozy. The service was minimal at best. The majority of the staff didn't do much, they just clustered together near the register and talked. When I was helped, I ordered the shrimp Pad Thai and ordered it at a spice level of three. I got the Pad Thai quickly, but I was utterly disappointed. The shrimp was spoiled! Not only that, but the Pad Thai tasted more like soy sauce than anything else.
