I love this place! It's a little expensive for what I can normally afford, but for an occasional treat, it's awesome. I love the Pad See Ew, and when I brought my parents there (who also like Thai and on the spicer side), they were all smiles. Had the Lad Na w wontons and chicken. Yummy! Truly a nice balance of some sweet and heat in the soup. All was good and was really fresh and wontons seemed freshly made. Don't try to come here in a rush at lunch hour since they get crowded and your food will take a minute. Parking is tight on the street but can be found. It's worth it. read more

Exactly what I was looking for! This very cute environment provide 10 minute walk out Pad Thai that was excellent and exact spice level I was looking for. Don't really ever write Yelp reviews, but this is a special exception. As someone who has gone to Thai Chili multiple time, what has happened during my last visit is absolutely unbelievable. I order two pad Thais, one freshman level and one senior level. What I received was quite different than what I ordered. The person who orders the level 0 has a very bad tolerance for spicy food and gets very ill when it gets too hot. Firstly when we got home we noticed they gave us one junior level and one senior level pad Thai. We immediately returned to the restaurant and the remade a 'freshman' pad Thai. This is what really upset me, after returning home myself and my roommates tasted this new 'freshman' level pad Thai and it was more spicy than my senior level, which is unacceptable. My friend tried eating this figuring the second time would be the charm, but shortly after they ate it they became very ill. This is very concerning because after calling back the Thai Chili and asking for an explanation they pretty much said 'sorry not our problem.' As someone who works in the restaurant industry this is completely acceptable. As someone who used to be a supporter of this restaurant, I am both shocked and surprised by the actions of Thai Chili. I highly recommend not supporting this restaurant. If you need Thai food in Corvallis, Lemongrass Noodle is a little over a block away. read more

Went to Thai Chili last night. I ordered the pad thai, and it was fair. Found extremely large chunks of egg in it. The egg pieces were bigger than the chicken that was in the pad thai. My partner ordered the pad see ew and it was fair at best. Very little flavor even though he asked for it to be hot. Broccoli was extremely mushy and had many brown slimy spots on it. Overall, a run of the mill thai food experience in Corvallis. Side note: We were seated at an extremely wobble table. The table was so wobbly we had to fix it ourselves so we could eat in peace. read more

Service was moody. He barely acknowledged us, never made eye contact, and definitely seemed like he wanted to go somewhere else. We sat outside, and it was dirty out there (broken bottles and cigarettes in the bushes, plus dried food scraps on the table). Don't eat here. Food is so-so, service sucks. I've tried this place a couple times hoping my opinion would change, but it didn't. The food is mediocre at best. Their Pad Thai is greasy and overall unimpressive. The prices are reasonable for good Thai food, but this isn't good Thai food. My main problem with this place is the service. The service is TERRIBLE. There were about 5 teenage workers (some wearing sweat pants), but 95% of the time they were just standing around ignoring the customers. It took forever for us to get seated, and when we finally did, they stuck us in a corner and forgot about us. Two groups of people who sat down after us got waited on first, and we didn't even get water until long after we had ordered. My boyfriend and I ordered the exact same thing, but I got mine about 15 minutes before he got his, so I was almost done eating by the time his food showed up. My side of sticky rice also didn't show up until the meal was almost over. After dinner we sat there for another 20 minutes before we had to hunt down a waiter to get our check and ask for a box (the only thing we asked for the entire time) and then they forgot to give us a box. They will never again get my business, and I won't recommend this place to anyone. read more

I have been a regular here for years and I feel like it's due time to write a review. I have had more than half of the dishes on the menu and I love all of them. Seriously. Haven't found one I don't like. My boyfriend and I are both really partial to their curries, so here's the low down on most of them. Jungle curry - no coconut milk, so it's not creamy, loaded with vegetables; Thai eggplant, sweet potatoes, onions, I can't even name all the veggies (boyfriends fave) Red/green curry - tons of bell pepper, carrots, and onion, super creamy, hot and spicy (my favorite) Yellow curry - perfect for a rainy day, loaded with GIANT pieces of potato with carrots and onion Their fried rice variety is always on point, their green curry fried rice or their spicy basil fried rice are my go-to's when I'm not down with curry. Piece of advice though: if you want a BIG portion around lunch time ask for their dinner size, otherwise the lunch portion is much smaller. If you get the curry, I HIGHLY advise not going over 3 stars for spice. My boyfriend and I are both pros at handling spicy stuff and we start sweating and dripping after 2 stars. Enough about the food, the wait staff is friendly and attentive, though I usually get take out, on the occasion that I do eat there I'm always taken care of. The waiters/waitresses even know me by name! The only time they've ever "messed up" a take out order, they called my phone before I even left the parking lot to tell me they gave me the wrong entree and when I left with the right entree, I walked out with a complimentary Thai iced tea (which is DELICIOUS by the way). read more

There aren't many choices for Thai food in Corvallis and I've come to accept that. I've only been here once and had my order to go so I could go eat and "study" at the same time (or at least try to). I tried their chicken red curry at junior spicy. It was flavorful and had a lot of vegetables and chicken in it. I didn't think it was that spicy either, but from the other reviews I assume it just depends on the cook for that shift. The staff are really friendly and sweet. I'll probably come back so I could try their soups. They accept credit cards as well which is always a bonus! read more

Dinning in can be slow service but take out is pretty efficient. Unfortunately they are not great with allergies and gave me 2 dishes I couldn't have. However to correct it they discussed my allergies and the entire menu to find me 2 dishes I could have. read more

3.5 stars ordered fried calamari for appetizer and beef pad thai and masaman curry with beef for entree. fried calamari was fried perfectly and the sauce was awesome! beef was so hard and tough to chew for both of the entrees. however the pad thai and curry both had good flavors. i wish the protion of rice that came with the curry was more because it really was not enough. service: we got seated right away and got our menu and water. i was confused as why the water didnt had ice (It was really hot outside so I wouldve prefered some ice in my water) but oh well no big deal. overall I was satisfied with the service. overall it was a decent experience and I will return for sure to try other dishes. read more

So the bubble tea was amazing! It was my first time ever having bubble tea, and it was so good, ill have to have more! I have had a lot of Pad Se-Eew. This one was good but no sauce/flavor on it. I have had ones with an almost sweet hint of sauce on it but this was just noodles with chicken and veggies maybe a little oil on it. Everything was cooked great tho! I'm pretty sure this is the restaurant I've been to the most in Corvallis, and I still like it a lot, but after venturing deeper into their menu, not everything holds up quite as well as the boat noodles, koi san, panang curry, or creamy tom yum noodles does. Specifically, the yum woon sen was a huge disappointment. It was served somewhat warm, lacked peanuts, and just didn't come close to reaching the level I expect. I tried yellow curry two times, what I got was a big cup with half cup filled with ugly curry soup. No more than 5 tiny pieces of beef/pork/chicken with some potatoes and onions. I don't understand how they call this Thai food. I bet they just dumped everything together and boiled the soup. Meh. Food: The food quality is at best average, the better dishes being the curry and appetizers which are of average overall quality. The beef was dry and overcooked, the spicy sauces were all spice and no sauce - think dry rub instead of sauce. Next time, skip the noodle dishes and go straight to the curry. Service: excellent - fantastic people. Atmosphere: When you step into the dining area, it feels like stepping back into the early 2000's. It's relaxing and has a nice hum to the place. I came back here another time with a few friends and I ordered pad thai. I got "sophomore" and I usually don't eat too spicy, so it was a good amount of spiciness. Good food but very poor service. I tried to call in an order for pick up at 8 and they closed at 8:45. The worker told me that they stopped taking orders. The noodles seemed more like vermicelli than rice noodles and the red sauce tastes a lot like tomato. The meat was sparse and I don't believe worth the price paid. I've eaten here a handful of times and the classic" dishes, like pad see uw, tom yum gai and green curry are good and the dinner prices are probably the cheapest Thai in town. The restaurant is sort of small, so be prepared to wait on busy nights, but service is consistently fast. I was not such a fan of the jungle curry, though. read more
