    Massaman Curry

First time trying this place and we're really glad we did. Started off great with some delicious Thai Iced Coffee, and Tom Kha for an app. The broth was so flavorful. We shared some Pad See Eww and Massaman Curry. We were really happy that they were able to make these dishes vegetarian by omitting the fish sauce.

My sister was in town for a visit and we were in the mood for Thai food. Found this place by using Yelp, and it was a hit! We had the tofu appetizer which came with a raucous dipping sauce, then Pad Thai (so good!) and Yum Mama (amazing veg option). It's a bit pricey, but worth it!

Very popular Thai place in rocky river! Keep in mind if you order online Friday night, online ordering still says 20 minutes but the restaurant then will increase the wait time themselves which won't reflect online. A little pricey but good portions and solid authentic flavors. Interested in the dine in experience for the future!

Cravings is a very intimate Thai restaurant located on Lake Road. Every time we go the service is very good and your food is served quickly. There is a patio out front and a drive thru to pick up bubble tea. Tonight I ordered the Red Curry with tofu. It only came medium spice or higher. I thought medium was perfect. My partner had the pad thai. He maintains it is the best pad thai he has had. We really enjoy this spot for an impromptu dinner.

Shrimp Spring Rolls ($10), 6 pieces -- takeout order on 14 January 2022
    Agnes I.

I ordered takeout tonight, on Friday, 14 January 2022. This was my first time at Cravings. After ordering on the phone, I was able to pick up my order within 15-20 minutes which was very convenient. **SIDE NOTE** -- This restaurant used to share their business with a tea shop. FOOD -- I ordered the Tom Yum Soup and Shrimp Spring Rolls (read more below on each order). I was overall satisfied with my meal but when I arrived the restaurant to pay, my total bill was $20 which I thought would cost me a little over $16 based on the online menu on the restaurant's website. So, I was a bit taken aback. When I asked why my bill was high, the person I spoke to at the cash register told me that they have raised their prices. TOM YUM SOUP ($5.95 as listed on the website but it actually cost $10). Menu description -- "Thai hot and sour soup with carrots, mushrooms, tomato and cilantro. Choice of Shrimp, Chicken or Tofu." I got my bowl of soup with shrimp and it was delicious. I added a little of my own shredded carrots but I forgot that the soup comes with a good handful of carrots already. Some high points: The bowl is a very HUGE quantity so it is worth the $10. It is also flavourful, with a hint of GINGER. This soup can last you for 2 meals. There is no milk in this soup which I loved because I hate milk. After several handfuls, it begun to taste a little SWEET which is probably from the tomatoes and carrots in the soup. The sweetness made my stomach feel a bit funny but nothing bad. There were NO ONIONS in the soup which I appreciated because I hate onions. Low points: This soup cost $10 so I missed this pricing information when I called to place my order. I didn't realize I would be charged $10 because the menu states $5.95. I got a bowl instead of a cup so this is probably why the bowl costs more. FRIED SHRIMP ROLLS (6 pieces), $10.95 was the price listed on the online menu -- the Menu Description: "Shrimp marinated wrapped in a spring roll skin. Served with sweet chili sauce." ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. It was a light side dish with a perfect crunch. When you dip a shrimp roll into the sweet chili sauce, your mouth will burst with flavour. I didn't realize how small these were until I opened my order when I got home. Weirdly enough, I was charged $10 for the shrimp spring rolls instead of $10.95. The price of $10.95 was listed on the online menu. When I got to the restaurant, I honestly thought the price would have been $8.95 but $8.95 was the listed menu price for the chicken spring rolls. Although $10 is pricey for just 6 shrimp spring rolls, it is definitely worth it. Of course, shrimp is more expensive than chicken. Overall, besides the pricing mixup because they have not updated their prices on their website, I will definitely be back to support this local small business. I suggest the restaurant update their prices on their menu so not to mislead customers. I do understand that due to COVID-19, many small business had to increase their prices. I enjoyed my food which is the most important factor when I review a restaurant. The person who assisted me when I arrived at the restaurant told me that she is originally from Bangkok, Thailand and I love immigrant businesses. **** - 3/150 total reviews in 2022 - 481 total overall Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 14 January 2022

The best Thai around! All the flavor and more. Everyone is always so nice. The spicy Thai salads have more flavor than any dish I have had anywhere period.

Such a great experience! They let you choose your spice level on all the dishes which is great! I would say this restaurant is more along the lines of Asian fusion but nevertheless great food! Reasonable prices and hip atmosphere.

I've been driving by this place for years and never stopped in until recently. My husband and I were looking to try a 'new to us' restaurant and decided to finally check out Cravings. My husband and I ordered the Chicken Fried Spring Rolls, Tom Kha Soup, Chicken Noodle Soup, pineapple bubble tea and matcha green tea bubble tea. The spring rolls are delicious and have a kick of ginger in them. The bubble teas here are the consistency of a milkshake and are delightful. The Tom Kha soup is packed with flavor and veggies and is one of the best versions I have tried. The chicken noodle soup stole the show and is by far the best dish we've had in a long time. The flavor of the broth is incredible and we've ordered it for take-out since dining in.

Wonderful food and service! Can't wait to go back and try other things. The food was fresh and there was so much of it. It made two meals for me. The outside is plain but the inside is decorated very nice with lots of space between tables.

Been here a hundred times for the best Thai around. Tibby & family are the best. She was in the homeland for awhile on vacation and said to my brother U WILL MISS MY COOKING!! It's the truth, my brother is a curry fanatic & eats here most of the time on the way home from work. Anyway she's back! She has such a great sense of humor it's hilarious to talk to her about the restaurant business & the long hours!! Usually I get the massaman curry, but today it's so damn hot we sat outside & I went with 2 Coronas & the pad see ew chicken. That's pan fried noodle with chicken & carrots, asparagus, baby corn. Heat factor #5. If u know tibby she starts at 4. 5 was pretty hot it settles most in the veggies. In the curry #5 is right out for me, too hot to handle, but this dish it works. People get things hotter & it's funny to watch them deal with it. Tom got the Thai fried rice chicken which I've had many times. It's great Thai here u can't go wrong. Experiment a little with the menu. The tom yum soup has a little tomato in it, really differentiates from the rest. Lots of to-go drive thru business here. Tab for 2 of us $50 + tip. Thing about Thai food I never walk out feeling bloated. I think all the capsaicin must be good for u somehow. I like sitting outside, sometimes the oil smell from all the wok rides home in the clothes. Another good time was had by all ALL HAIL TIBBY the THAI QUEEN of Cleveland.

Also ordered the potato and cheese "corn dog" which was a fried block of cheese with frozen diced potatoes on the outside. And finally something called a Tiger Sugar Dirty Latte which was an iced coffee with a TON of brown sugar and boba in it....super sweet. I couldn't finish it. I can't imagine people going here in a regular basis, but as a treat to get the mochinut I couldn't finish see folks going every once in a while! Other things to note, the service was a slow, but the corn dogs are made to order and was fresh and there was 1 employee, so that's why. And the music was super loud and not "my speed" as I am a little older (in my 50's) and not really keen on rap music with questionable lyrics blaring in my ears! LOL.

I got the cheese and potato "dog" which didn't have a hot dog in it at all, which I was grateful for a no hot dog option. What's better than fried cheese and potatoes ?! It was HUGE! And tasty. Not something I'd ever get again though (I'm a healthy eater and as you can imagine, this was very heavy!) But was a fun, carnival type experience. I got an iced boba coffee which was good but nothing to write home about. The service was really slow, but there was only one staff member doing everything by herself. I just felt bad for her. The rap music was blasting so loud, so it was a little odd for me haha. Overall, I wouldn't really ever comeback. But those mochinuts were pretty tasty and unique.

My husband and I stopped in to get coffee and breakfast for his birthday - we have never been and like trying new to us places. I was quite frankly confused by the whole place Java is in its name, but it seemed like Java was one of the last things that was on the worker's (I think it may have been the owner) mind. As the Java was already premade and all she did was add pump syrup to it! But anyway, it was fine. We also ordered 2 breakfast sandwiches (to go) Our total bill for 2 coffees and 2 sandwiches was around $44 - I don't know exactly, as I didn't get a receipt. But I did question the prices as I thought it was a bit high. Our bacon egg and cheese sandwiches were $15 each, coffee was $5 each. I think there may have been an up charge on the GF bagel to make up the difference. Honestly, it was my husband's birthday so I didn't really pay attention to the pricing. So food/drinks were ok. The croissant itself, which was homemade, was delicious! The store itself was a little schizophrenic - a little bit of everything, handwritten signs, furniture having all different kinds of chairs and what not, backwards signs. And seems like they made a little bit of everything food wise too, I saw Indian, Lebanese, Vietnamese, and Italian foods there. But NO VANILLA LATTE - in a JAVA bistro ha ha ha. Here's where I think it fell off the rails for me: the owner was REALLY REALLY pushing her Pho and meatballs, AND........also unsolicited was giving me weight loss tips, She was telling me about intermittent fasting and healthy eating, etc. I felt very uncomfortable at this point and couldn't wait to get out of there.

It opens for full service again on Friday, August 1, 2025 (full menu and table service). The restaurant is small, has few tasteful Thai details (such as Bangkok skyline art) and neon Thai Thai sign. Bao had soggy bottom. - Thai bubble tea - $6 - Traditionally with milk, but they were out of milk. It was totally fine with me. Bubble tea tasted like light peach iced tea to me. It was good, but bobas were soggy. - Taro bubble tea - $6 - Pretty Instagrammable lavender color. Subtly sweet. Soggy bobas. Service was really friendly and welcoming. The owner told me that they just returned from Thailand. So it's amazing to have an authentic spot in the city! When I entered the restaurant, I noticed some yummy fried rice with steak and shrimp so maybe I'll order that next time, if I visit Kintaro again. I came to try the 'All You Can Eat' hotpot (soup) lunch for $17.99. You can eat as much as you want for 2 hours. They can charge extra for food waste so don't order too much. For their hotpot all you can eat, you are given a menu to mark off what you want added to your soup. I can't remember if I chose a pork based broth or a chicken broth but I think it was pork-based. The hotpot came with some beef strips (rolled up), ramen noodles, and cilantro. The broth didn't look as fresh as I would have liked when my food was initially brought to me but after adding the ingredients to the soup, it tasted fine. My soup needed flavour as it was bland so I had to stand up and go to the back of the restaurant to get some chili oil and sauces so that I could add that to my soup. When my food was brought out, it was actually a lot for 1 person so I don't remember finishing my soup. I did add all the ingredients into the hotpot and ate enough of it that I wasn't charged extra for food waste. Overall, the hotpot is decent.
