When he did come with the check he handed me a QR code and I had to go through a ridiculous process to pay the bill, something my 84 year old Mom wouldn't have been able to do. Not once did the server come over to greet us, take our drink order, or even acknowledge that we were sitting there waiting. By 8:28 PM, after nearly 40 minutes with nothing but water and no acknowledgment from our server, we decided to leave. We were also the only Black customers in the restaurant at the time, and considering what we witnessed, the experience made us feel extremely uncomfortable and unwelcome. I can't say what the server's intentions were, but I can absolutely say how we were treated compared to the other tables we watched receive service. As Black customers, we did not feel welcomed or valued here, and based on our experience, I would not recommend this establishment to other Black diners. Very disappointing, especially when we made a reservation and came expecting to enjoy our evening.
