Stopped here for dinner on a one day trip to OKC. It was downtown, close to the National Memorial, & had great Yelp reviews. I loved this place! The interior is your standard hasn't-been-updated-since-the-grand-opening cheap tables, vinyl chairs, & typical Asian trinket decor. I personally wished it was more updated, but it's the food that counts. I sat down and was quickly greeted by the waiter. He was very friendly & attentive, gave good advice on my dish, went to the kitchen promptly to ask the chef my question, and took my order. My Thai tea came out right away, but he poured too much milk into it & it was practically white. I could barely taste the tea. I apologetically sent it back, but the server was very gracious about it. I ordered the rad na with fresh tofu (not fried) & it was amazing!!! It came in a bowl with a light but flavorful gravy, flat rice noodles, & loads of veggies & tofu. Perfect end to a long travel day of no food. read more

We came for lunch and decided to make it to-go, and it took us more than 20 minutes to get the food! Don't try to wait for your food at the cashier, because there's no space, and their staff and other customers would need to pass by 100 times. I don't want to see the kitchen... Ambience? Not exist. Thai Kitchen is awesome if you're one of those that are on the go during the weekdays. They offer a buffet between 11 am - 2 pm on the weekdays. If you're not available at those times then their menu is also pretty damn good. I recommend the Yellow Curry and the Phat Kee Mao. They offer spice levels between 1 - 4. I'd stick to a 2 and just add some spices to it unless you want to sweat it out. The restaurant is small and decorated with thai sculptures. At first glance, you wouldn't be sure about eating there but it's very inviting and like a home. The owners really take care of you and they make sure you are fine and that you have water to drink. I really enjoy the hospitality here. The reason it isn't 5 stars is that they are very limited on dishes. For the dishes they do have, they do a great job. I wished the appetizers would be a lot more flavorful like their entrees. Give this place a try! read more

My wife and I were looking for place to eat , we are from California and don't know the area so weren't sure where to go. We saw this place and walked in, it doesn't look like much from the outside but the food is GREAT! It's an older building but it's CLEAN and the waiter taking our order was prompt, considerate and came to our table regularly to ask if we needed anything which was cool as we didn't have to "wave" him down! !!! Super-good eats !!! Don't let the decor fool you. As I walked up, I was not sure I wanted to stay for lunch. When I went inside, there were no other customers. The place looked kind of like it was under construction and it smelled a bit funny. I stayed anyway because I was craving some Thai food. I am glad I did! I was pleasantly surprised! Went to see a show at the civic center and we were desperately looking for food (which was oddly hard to find in that area?), it's not a particularly conspicuous location. As far as the interior goes I liked it enough, bit hot but I don't expect much else in an Oklahoma summer. Our server was really friendly if not a bit busy as I think she may have been the only one working tables ? not that we really minded, it wasn't super busy and we weren't in any particular rush. My friends were delighted with the curries they got (Red and Massaman) and I was pleased enough with my cashew nut stir fry. I'll admit having worked in a Thai restaurant before I've been a bit spoiled and was somewhat disappointed with the menu selection but that's not a fault I can really blame them for. read more

If I'm being honest with myself I should not have eaten Thai food in Oklahoma City. The restaurant is a hole in the wall and easy to miss. I should have walked out when I was greeted by a white chef but hey given the reviews I decided to stay. I started by ordering the Tom Kha Kai soup. It was much thicker than I was used to and had an interesting flavor but was just ok. For dinner I got Phat Nam Prick Pao. It's hard to say how it tasted because it looks like a bottle of chili pepper flakes exploded on my plate. There was literally a pile on the side. I could only eat half of it before my sinuses and stomach had enough. They ran out of the beer I wanted by 5p. All was saved when I saw mango sticky rice on the menu but I was informed the menu was not up to date and that was an item no longer being sold. To top it all off we had an awful server. I want to give him the benefit of the doubt and say he was brand new. We never got waters, any time we had a request or ordered something it took us repeating ourselves 3 times before he remembered. He only had 2 tables. We asked him to split the check 3x and he even repeated our request back to us but we got a single check. Everyone is so friendly at Thai kitchen!! We mostly come here for take out but their lunch buffet special is a great deal! This is not the place you take a first date because it is very hot inside and it isn't the most swanky. But if you just get takeout you can get the best pad kee mao in town. I usually order their green curry and have a few bites of my husbad's pad kee mao. Two dishes is enough for dinner + lunch the next day for two people. It is a great deal for great food. read more

Food was pretty good but was expecting more. I walked over from the Sheraton hotel after reading all the great reviews. The decor and cleanliness are what you would expect in Bangkok. The kitchen is tiny yet the dinning room quite large. The menu has plenty to chose from. I ordered the drunken noodle lunch special hot which came woth two spring rolls. My own opinion was too sweet and too oily. The spiciness was fairly mild although i ordered hot. I think must of their business is lunch buffet patrons. Service was fast and efficient. read more

Just ordered through postmates during lunch . I ordered the PHAT THAI i guess that's how they spell it , but my first time ordering from them and I didn't really enjoyed it . I had a level spicy 3 stars and it wasn't spicy at all . A one year child can even eat it ! Very disappointing and also lack of flavor too . Had the cheese spring rolls and vegetable panache curry. The cheese rolls were good. The vegetable panange curry which I've gotten many other places only had two types of vegetables; peppers and carrots. That is the worst amount of vegetables I have ever seen.
