Right next door to the Panang in the south. There was a through window since you can order from Panang and they bring it. Don't know why they don't just converge their menus and open up the space. Service was great, friendly and efficient. Only one guy was working front of the house, so he was busy with the tables and the to-go orders. We only got water to drink, but all their drinks come in these cut mason jars. The E-San Sausage was delicious. It came with a side of cabbage and some pickled ginger that helps cut through the grease. The Crispy Pork Kai-Lan was just okay, not any different from other beef & broccoli dishes elsewhere. Went for lunch, we were seated immediately with a clean table, a very attentive staff member, & a great atmosphere. We decided to get their lunch specials & it did not disappoint for the price & variety of food! Everything was delicious! They have different drink options but I stuck with water for personal preference. I decided on the beef stir fry which we both preferred over the chicken one. Thai Street Eats is the other half of Panang. The two restaurants share the same kitchen. Panang has the traditional Thai foods. Thai Street Eats is the street food side and I absolutely loved it. In general, I love this type of food though. Don't make the mistake thinking street foods are served in small portion. Part of this is true, as the portion size is smaller but there are PLENTY of food with each serving. I LOVED the angel wings. These are stuffed fried chicken wings. I haven't seen stuffed fried chicken wings at many places. This is one of the few restaurants where they are being served. The stuffed wings were ridiculously huge and super delicious. I was essentially full after eating the two wings. The sweet and sour sauce and the salad that came with the dish were also excellent. I was too full to finish the Thai Fried Chicken Rice after eating the angel wings. I loved the taste of the ginger rice. They must have cooked the rice in ginger or something to give the rice a ginger taste. I feel like you have to like ginger to like this rice. The fried chicken was very crunchy. This dish came with two sauces, the old favorite sweet and sour and the peanut butter sauce, as well as a cup of soup. Ordered two dishes and absolutely loved both. The only criticism was the service. A little slow and people were waiting for refills. This was partly due to having only one server but if you get by this aspect, you might love this restaurant too. I stopped here for a late lunch. I was greeted by a friendly server. The environment is a bit dark but clean. He suggested the lunch special which I took him up on and I'm glad I did. For $10.99 I got to pick 4 items and i went with a spring roll, Thai noodles, chicken curry, and eggplant with tofu. It was a ton of food! I had enough for two meals. What a great deal! I bought these two delectables to take home and the photos are taken the next day after they've been in the fridge, therefore they might look a little shrivelly ... BUT, that did nothing to dwindle their tastiness. Delicious fast casual spot serving Thai dishes you can't find at any ole' place. The fried garlic pork appetizer is downright addictive with their amazing homemade dipping sauce with lemongrass and kaffir lime. But our favorite so far is the super-crispy fried chicken breast over ginger rice. While I usually prefer a little more going on in the rice, the provided sauces are outstanding and add so much flavor. The chicken is tender inside, breading unique, not greasy, great flavor too. The kiddos couldn't get enough of the accompanying chicken winter melon soup. "Yummy broth" one kept saying with a huge smile. Kary and the crew are truly exceptional people, going above and beyond in making sure we were well cared for. Food is cooked fresh, so don't expect it lightning fast. They also keep a very clean dining room. You can also order classic Thai dishes from Panang next door as they are companion restaurants. Thai Street Eats has a more quiet, clean and updated feel than Panang next door, with a more focused menu, and also has table service. What they do, they sure do well. I had a seminar I was to be at so I ordered online and stopped to pick it up. It was ready before the estimated time which was great. The lid wasn't fully on the broth so when I opened the bag a lot spilled out onto my pants so I smelled like it at the senior . I ordered the SR5 crispy pork stir fried Kai lan. It came with a broth on the side. The white rice was perfection. The vegetables were Al Dente and could have been a bit softer but I did enjoy the crunch. The pork and vegetables had a lot of great flavor unfortunately the pork was not edible. It was so hard I thought I'd break a tooth. The inside on much of it was extremely fatty/almost as though it had Geisel in it. The broth or soup was great in flavor! Very nice but didn't have much in it so pretty much broth but it was great. I love the flavor with the meat being so rough I'm not sure if I'll try it again or not. read more

Let's talk Thai street foods. I've never been to Thailand but it's on my bucket list and more so after today. We enjoy Thai food so when we saw this pop up, we knew it would quickly be on our list. Here's what we had: 1. E-San sausage: The waiter didn't recommend it as a top dish and we asked why. He said it's a little sour so if you're not used to it, you may not like it but it's one of his favorites. So you know, that made us curious enough to try it! Our family loved it. It's traditional Thai pork sausage mixed with sticky rice and probably some rice vinegar marinade that has a slight tang. The "sour" wasn't noticeable to my kids. It's literally just a tiny tang so if you're into trying new things- I'd highly recommend it. 2. Khao Soi: Egg noodles drenched in a creamy yellow coconut curry served with one chicken leg, green onion, red onion, bean sprout, pickled cabbage and cilantro. I actually didn't see bean sprouts or some of the toppings in ours. I only saw red onions but I'm not going to fault them for garnishes because the curry was excellent! Thick, creamy, rich goodness. Now, the chicken could've been cooked longer though. It was fully cooked, don't get me wrong- but it's hard to eat a leg with a fork and spoon and what would've made it great is if it was cooked fall-off-the bone so it would be easier to eat. I'm of East Indian origin so you better believe I shamelessly used my hands! 3. Roasted Duck Noodle Soup: Rice noodles or Egg noodles, Roasted Duck, bean spout, and onion served with house broth. We went with egg noodles. Very good. Broth was bide and flavorful. Exactly how we imagined it to be. 4. Thai Basil Stir Fried: Choice of crispy pork or ground pork, (or chicken), stir-fried with Thai Basil, chili, green bean, onion and bell peppers served with white rice and topped with fried egg. We picked their more popular crispy pork & asked the heat to be at a 2. Our kids are used to eating spicy but they thought this 2 was really on the verge of being too spicy for them but they loved it. It was a good spice level but we couldn've kicked it up a notch if it was just the adults. The good thing is that they can give you chopped peppers etc on the side so you can add heat to any dish you want. This was probably a family favorite. Loved the fresh Thai basil folded in at the end. 5. Mango Sticky Rice: This is a treat for my lovely wife. It's one of her favorite desserts so no question, we had to get one. Nothing unique about theirs in particular. It was good though. 6. Custard with shallots: I'm not sure what this is called. It was our first time eating it but the bottom was lightly sweetened flan ... tasted more like an eggy custard. Not as smooth as flan. And the top was a bit savory with fried shallots. We didn't know what to make of it. My youngest thought it was wonderful. My oldest only ate the bottom and the rest of us couldn't decide whether we enjoyed it or not. ‍ But hey, we're so glad we tried it. Service was super quick, staff was nice and very helpful and the place was clean. It wasn't busy when we got there so it was only us and another party in the whole place. Restaurant is small but adjacent to Panang. You can order off the Panang menu as well if you wanted to. Overall, great experience! read more

I'm a HUGE fan of Thai food and have been anxiously awaiting the opening of this restaurant. We saw on FB that they were having their grand opening so I hopped over as soon as I saw the news. The cashier was soooo friendly and helpful! At her suggestion I ordered an appetizer of fried pork and sticky rice. The fried pork was sliced into bite sized pieces in a sweet and savory sauce. We also picked up the fried chicken rice platter that has a fried chicken breast over rice with cucumber and sauce. Both choices were delicious and we couldn't decide what we liked more. I've spent some time in Thailand, and this place serves terrific Thai food. The papaya salad alone was freakin amazing. It's so rare to find spots that serve this dish. I'm always looking for good authentic Thai spots when traveling, and this place hit the spot. The grilled chicken was perfectly cooked, the pork skewers were so delicious and moist, the Pork Larb could have had a little more lime, but still fantastic....the crab fried rice could have used a little less white pepper, but still very tasty. I'm being particular, but truly, the food is darn good. The service is also excellent. This spot really deserves our support, it's not easy finding good "sit down" spots these days. Let me start by saying I know nothing about Thai street food or what it's supposed to taste like. I wasn't expecting to love this place but I was pleasantly surprise! Thai Street Eats and Panang have the same owners and you can order off the other restaurant's menu. I ordered the the grilled pork and curry chicken noodle. Both dishes were very flavorful. I don't usually eat pork, but the pork was tender and juicy (image shows 3 skewers but we ate 2 before the picture - there were 5 total). The sauce was great too! I'm a big sauce person. The curry threw me off a bit because of the fried noodles on top and the chicken leg. I am a white meat gal through and through. Before eating I made a comment stating that I had "no clue how to eat this chicken leg." The chicken mean fell off the bone and was so easy to eat. The combination of onions, chicken and the yellow curry was divine! I basically wiped the plate clean. I will say I did removed the fried noodles and didn't eat those, but not because they weren't good. To address Covid concerns, the staff was so friendly, wore masks, and had sanitizer available for those dining in and carrying out. Tables were spaced out far enough! read more
