I came back for a lunch meal. I had the mango chicken. It was lightly breaded chicken stir fried with bell peppers, shredded mango, and Thai basil. It also came with a side of white rice. I opted for a three-spice level. This was well put together and a good size portion. It was sweeter than I thought, but the spice offset it a little bit. Everything was cooked appropriately as well. It was just a satisfying dish. I also split the seafood tom yum noodle soup that came with thin rice noodles, shrimp, squid, mussels, bell peppers, onions, mushrooms, and lemongrass. Visited on a Thursday night around 5:30 - it was pretty quiet when I got there but super busy by the time I left. The service was friendly and patient. They didn't rush me out when I stayed a little long to talk with the friend I met up with too, and I was grateful. The only downside was the sound/acoustics made it pretty hard to hear each other talk when it got fairly busy. (This wasn't a dealbreaker for me - it's just a note of advice in case you plan to meet up with anyone to have a deeper discussion). I had Pad Thai and really enjoyed it. I had enough to take home a little leftovers too. My friend really enjoyed her meal (and spice level) and her Thai iced tea too. Very disappointing experience. We frequent this restaurant quite often, which made this incident and the way it was handled even more disappointing. After paying our bill by card, the server returned with only the receipts--the credit card was missing. When we informed her, instead of checking or apologizing, she repeatedly insisted that she had returned it with the receipts, making us feel as though we were being dishonest. After several minutes of going back and forth, another server finally found our card left on a different table. What was most disappointing was that there wasn't even a simple "I'm sorry." Mistakes can happen, but it's how they're handled that matters. A missing credit card is a serious issue, and a little accountability and courtesy would have gone a long way. Ambiance-Hidden gem off Prince George Rd I found near Gong Cha bubble tea. Weekends here are crazy busy but this was a late Tuesday and empty tables before the 9:30pm close. Service new server and she learned not all food have spice levels like puffs. Food-The puffs were so good with potatoes n carrots it was a lil samosa you get 3 or 4 per order for an appetizer. The roti was really tasty too but only 1 piece of naan which more sauce than bread per serving. The calamari was very good too the breading doesn't need sauce so crunchy goodness. That Kitchen is still amazing for several years this was the weekly lunch spot with Co workers, sometimes twice a week The staff is engaging and always friendly. And the food is out of this world delicious. I love spicy and they can make it nice and spicy of you ask. The decor is inviting and it has a nice ambiance. They also have outside dining as well. Having been to their sister concern which I didn't care for much , we decided to visit the original Thai Kitchen as the rest of my family liked the food here Z it was my first time and I was looking forward to dinner . Being a strip mall there was ample parking and walking in the ambience was inviting and they were quick in taking the order It started off on a positive note with the first couple of apetizers Spring roll & Chicken Satay . The Steamed Shrimp Dumplings had a piece of shell in it that it got stuck in my throat and I struggled to get it out for a while . Seas food sizzler was supposed to be a speciality but I didn't care much for the sauce and texture of the seafood Mee grob was a sticky mess - nothing noteworthy Our entrees were also mediocre Panang curry , Jungle curry Veggies i Basil sauce . Very thin watery curry felt more r like stir fried curry and not a creamy coconut milk based one . The only dishes worth talking about were the Veggie fried rice and Drunken noodles. Great food always. We have our favorites here and once in a while we try something new.

I sometimes yearn for the days when I would more often sample what I considered to be "adventurous" fare, like Turkish or Arabic or Indian or Slavic (not that these are particularly "adventurous" for the majority of sentient, worldly people, but they used to be for me). These days, I tend to dine at least semi-regularly with an old friend whose tastes are even more staid and conventional than mine. If it's not Italian, it's Asian. If he's feeling "adventurous," maybe we'll eat at a Greek restaurant. When it's Asian (as it so often is), it's usually Thai. Not that I'm necessarily complaining. I usually prefer Thai to Chinese or Japanese cuisine. Back in the day, Thai was considered "adventurous" dining, at least by those in my parochial circle. (I remember a first date where I treated my date to a meal at a newly-opened Thai restaurant in my area. Back then, I figured it would lend a "man of the world" aura to her still-unclear perception of me. Recently, my old friend, who was also familiar with the restaurant in question, remarked that that restaurant has gone precipitously downhill since the days when it first opened. Just like that long ago "romance." I guess the "man of the world" aura...such as it was...only went so far. Anyway...) About a week ago, my old friend suggested Thai Kitchen I in Bridgewater, and I was agreeable, having no readily available alternate suggestion in mind. Evidently, it's owned by the same people who run Thai Kitchen in Chester, which I've enjoyed (I remember I wrote a laudatory Yelp review about them some time ago), so I figured-- how bad could it be? Not bad at all, as it turns out. Pretty damn good, in fact. In actuality, I had eaten there once or twice years ago but couldn't remember with any degree of clarity what my impressions had been (other than the fact that I ate there with the same old friend, who had had an office in the area before the drugs and the alcohol took hold; he subsequently sobered up and got his life/sanity back, but..alas...not the office). There's something to be said, of course, for the fact that the restaurant is still in business all these years later. The restaurant is located in a sprawling, unimpressive "mini mall" near the much larger Bridgewater Commons and Rt. 22. I wasn't all that impressed by the interior of the place either, which was dark and nondescript, but we were promptly seated, and our orders taken. Usually, in a Thai restaurant, my "go to" order is Tom Kha Gai soup (chicken coconut milk soup with bell peppers, mushrooms, the spice galanga, onions, and scallions) and Massa-Mun Thai Curry, with a side order of sweet coconut rice. This time, I decided to try something different (in the interests of eating healthier; the deleterious effects of my wayward, misspent youth are starting to catch up with me). I still had the Tom Kha Gai soup (in case it hasn't been obvious so far, I love coconut, and couldn't resist), but instead of the Mussa-Mun Curry, I ordered the Choo Chee Salmon, which was a fresh and substantial portion of the fish served with crispy asparagus, red bell peppers, tomatoes and curry sauce. Delicious, and for once, I could actually tell myself that I was eating something at least moderately healthy. Although...again...I couldn't resist a side of the sweet coconut rice. Which I almost immediately regretted, because my friend...can't remember what he had ordered for dinner...had been intelligent to leave enough room for dessert, which in his case was sweet sticky (coconut) rice with mango. Which is...maybe ironically, maybe not...actually one of my favorite desserts, and one I can almost assure myself while I'm eating it is at least somewhat healthy (as opposed to Tres Leches Cake, or Fudge Brownies with Vanilla Ice Cream, or...). But...this time...there simply wasn't any room for me to partake of it. The generous portion of salmon I had been served (along with the soup and the side of rice) negated the possibility of enjoying any kind of dessert, much less the ample portion of mango with sweet sticky rice that Thai Kitchen serves. Next time, though...and there will definitely be a next time...I'll be leaving room for that sweet sticky rice with mango. The memory of that particular dessert stays with me much more vividly (and pleasantly) than the memory of that long-ago "romance" where I tried to project the "man of the world" aura by introducing my date to the then "exotic" wonders of Thai cuisine. Not so "exotic" anymore, but definitely pleasurable, satisfying and worthwhile. Highly recommended. read more

I've ordered takeout from here a few times, both delivery via apps and pickup. Each time my order was ready on time or early. Inside it has a very distinct American-Thai-Restaurant ambiance. Typically my orders have stuck to the rice and noodle dishes and I'd say each was above average. One day I'll try their curries or other main course style dishes. My one complaint is that I have asked for "5 spicy" multiple times and it is usually a 2 or maybe a 3 maximum. read more

I visited here for an early dinner on a weekday last week and was surprised to see how busy this place was. Despite the crowd we were seated pretty quickly and the food came out just as fast. I got the drunken noddles (4/5 spice level) and the Thai iced tea. Everything was delicious, it was just what I wanted from the meal! Service throughout the dinner was great. It was a packed house on a Friday night dinner time. Luckily, it was just my husband and I, so we got a table right away. The place has nice decorations and it is also a clean place. Combo (Fried Calamari and Shrimp) - The calamari and shrimp were cooked perfectly. It wasn't over-battered, and it was lightly seasoned with salt and pepper. Went well with the sauce. Roti Canai - I would say it wasn't that great at all, and I love Roti Canai, but this wasn't it. Malaysian style pancake were not crispy at all. Husband says he felt it was undercooked. The curry itself was very liquidy. The potatoes were good. When you dip the pancake into the curry. It would dip everything down, meaning you don't get that curry on to the pancake. So you have to use the spoon to get the curry and eat it like soup. Gang Kiew Wan with Squid - Green curry was a great pick. The squid is cooked perfectly. It was soft and easy to chew. I love the veggies, and they were delicious. Duck Noodles - It's great and very flavorful. Wish they would add a little bit more of the shredded duck meat. I felt there wasn't much to it. (This dish reminds me of Beef Chow Fun.) Overall, from the beginning to the end, even though it was a packed house, the services were great. They made sure the water on the table didn't go empty. They checked on us to see how everything was. I had to take off the one star because I wish their Roti Canai was better. But I am planning to go back here again to try other dishes. read more

From the time we sat down for dinner that place was busy with take out orders and constant diners who were just waiting to sit and enjoy some Thai food. My go-to choice for lunch when I am in the area! Thai kitchen has several locations and they're consistently great on the food. I highly recommend coming for the lunch specials since you'll get a great price. The thing with their food is that they have a Spice Scale based on elephants. ! elephant being mild which 5 elephants being the spiciest. I'm a lover of spice so I always choose 5 but if that's not your thing, keep that in mind! My go to order is the yellow curry with tofu and vegetables. If you're not a spice-tolerant person, try the duck noodles! Located at an unassuming strip mall, I wasn't expecting anything special but boy was I wrong! They have a large patio area, great for COVID social distanced seating. The Pad Thai was amazing -- noodles were perfectly tender and packed with flavor, and a huge portion. The pineapple shrimp was also banging, served in a "chef's special pineapple curry sauce." We wanted a duck appetizer. We specifically asked the waitress the difference between the house, special duck and YUM PED YANG. She said Yum Yang was a crispy duck, and house special was shredded. To a horror when we got the order, the Yum Yang was a salad. It was four small pieces of duck that was soaking in lime juice and topped with the heap of vegetables. The food was average mostly salty and unfortunately the overall experience was not great. What really left a bad impression was they automatically added an 18% gratuity to the bill, even though we were not a large party and they did the calculations after tax which it felt misleading. While I understand restaurants want to support their staff, gratuity should be left to the guest's discretion based on the level of service received. This year I tried them for takeout during the pandemic lockdown, and really liked the quality and flavors of the dishes, as well as the whole set up for ordering and getting my food. I ordered over the phone a few times, each time with special requests like "please make this Pad Thai vegan" or "no onions." Everything was prepared just as I had specified and was ready on time, packed in a labeled bag, and waiting on a table near the front door so I could get it quickly while wearing my mask and social distancing. Everyone who helped me was very polite. Tonight I ate in the tent for the first time. It was pretty and romantic with soft lighting and heat lamps. The sides of the tent were down and the top was partially covered. It would not work in the rain but for tonight's clear weather it was perfect. We had called the day before and made a reservation and were seated right away. The food was excellent as we knew it would be from having had take out there so often! The Pineapple Fish from the specials menu was the star, with light crispy breading that enhanced the delicate flaky fish. The staff all wore masks and were gracious, attentive, and unobtrusive.
