I often get orders to go from here. I would order more if it wasn't so expensive. However some of the portions do make up for the price. I usually get the pho or creamy tom yum soup with veggies or tofu. Others in my home get spring rolls and chicken lo mein or chicken fried rice. I love the pho and creamy tom yum. Be careful with the heat level. I usually get a four or five and that is plenty. The spring rolls are great a little on the expensive side for two spring rolls. We have determined the fried rice is better than the lo mein. I can't speak to the dine in experience but service for to go orders is usually quick. However, last time they forgot my rice noodles. So glad to happen upon this hidden gem! Canton is lucky to have such a special taste of Thai! Stopped in for lunch and was so pleasantly surprised. The Dynamite roll was excellent! However, I wanted to comment that (1) when I asked for low sodium soy sauce, there was none; they brought me little individual packets of regular soy sauce. They brought me about 4. I asked for more. I like a lot of soy sauce. I think I ended up being given 6 or 7. I prefer pouring from a soy sauce container and not having to open a bunch of little packets. (2) I asked for a pepper shaker - like normal salt and pepper shakers that used to be on every table in restaurants. I was brought a little plastic cup with ground pepper - ok, that's fine. (3) I had reviewed the online menu before dining for the first time. The dynamite roll said it was torched. The online description was: "Crab, cream cheese, avocado roll topped with tuna, salmon, pepper, jalapeno & torched." When it was brought to me it didn't look like it was torched. The server who brought the food didn't even know what I was talking about when I said the online menu said it was torched. She did say some other rolls are torched, though. I ordered that roll because I like spicy food, and it had jalapenos in it and it was one of the few specialty rolls with raw protein rather than just cooked that said it was torched on the online menu. Anyway, I ended up being extremely disappointed and didn't feel the $15 specialty roll was worth it since it wasn't as advertised, plus I had the hassle of opening all the soy packets and not being as advertised on their online menu. My husband did like his meal. I think he got Thai Basil with beef and rice noodles instead of rice. And our companions loved their chicken satay and other Thai meals. I guess I shouldn't place so much anticipation on online descriptions that aren't the same in real life. read more

I'm so picky about sushi and what I'm willing to eat. Thai Lanna has a Sushi Monday special where certain rolls are $3.99 and it's a great way to try things I wouldn't normally eat. The Shrimp & Cucumber roll is my absolute favorite. They also have a Thai Cashew Chicken that's absolutely incredible and a must-order. We typically order crab rangoon and spring rolls too. Tried this for takeout for the first time, we were very excited but when my daughter brought it home there was none of the traditional accompaniments I'm used to for my pho. Only noodles, broth with beef and one lime slice and couple small containers of sauces and red chili flakes. I called thinking maybe basil, cilantro and bean sprouts were forgotten, I was told it was packed with the order they were sure of it and I should recheck. I emptied the bag there was none. I was told nothing we can do for you it was packed. I pretty sure they just called me a liar over bean sprouts rather than offer to let me pick them up. so I just paid 30$ for 2 bowls of less than mediocre broth and noodles. Of the soups that we've tried, one of the best is the Wonton Soup, which uses ground chicken rather than the usual pork. Another interesting one is Tom Kha Kai. For entrees, we like the Mango Fried Rice, and the Pineapple Fried Rice, too. Both are excellent. A really cool dessert that they have there is Mango Sticky Rice. Yummy! So, when I my friend and I decided to go out on a double date and catch up, so we thought this would be the perfect place! (And much better than a loud bar.) I had ordered boat noodle, but what I got was definitely a pho (a subpar pho). Our appetizer was okay. My friend and her date enjoyed their dishes. But the restaurant was so busy, we received terrible service. No one waited on us when we first got there, and there was confusion when we ordered. While I appreciated the busy atmosphere and the music, the acoustics of the restaurant were not suited for this. We couldn't really hear each other well. I love supporting local businesses, and we did, and it was an ok experience. The food was a bit pricey for what you got, and I would have been ok with it if it were flavorful. We had the ginger and the garlic stir fry dishes. I was hard pressed to tell you that the named flavor was in the dish. We had a couple rolls of sushi and they tasted great, just a bit smaller compared to other places in the area. I likely won't go back simply because of the vale we felt we didn't get for the price. Had an issue with my order, i get it mistakes are made, i picked up. Tried to call them, but the phones kept saying line was busy. Tried calling again ( a total 10 times over 20 minutes) hoping to get through. Since the phones were not working, ended up driving back for them to say "you should have just called". It was going to take over an hour for the meal to be remade. $15 is not worth the 1-1/2 i spent so ended up leaving. Like i said there was us, and two other tables, it took us about a half hour to get our sushi rolls, once we got our sushi we all needed refills but she kept coming to the table saying "we are so busy im sorry" and running away....then another waitress brought out our pho (all at different times, the adults got their food before the kids) and we were missing a spoon for my fiances pho, the waitress said "sorry we dont have any clean we ran out" ok....so should he eat with his hands? About 20 minutes later when he was almost done eating she came out with a spoon, sat it down, still no refills. Came back to the table, we asked for refills and she said again "sorry we are so busy hold on" and never came back. Again, only us and two other tables in the restaurant. The staff was immediately apologetic and you could see they were doing their best and were getting slammed. I totally understood, so just waited at the bar.
