I was recommended to Thail Lily Cafe. I was very dissatisfied with the food prices and the taste of my meals. I purchased "steamed vegetable" at a price of $7.95 and received a cup serving. I can purchase Asian Stir Fry Vegetable at Dollar Tree for $1.50 and receive three servings. The cafe inside stated short on staff; they are serving short on food to the customers. I would definitely order it again. I also ordered the curry. Unfortunately it was not as favorable as I imagined and vegetables were very tough. It's one of the worst basil fried rice I had in an extremely long time. Roti by itself and no soup on the side? This is the only restaurant that does this with no cup of soup. I wasn't expecting a lot but give me something. Otherwise, what's the point of ordering it if I didn't order any curry dishes? Now, my biggest disappointment... chicken pad Thai. I was randomly craving some Thai food today so I googled the closet place to be with decent reviews. I was greeted my a lady who I presume to be the owner and she was so sweet. The establishment was very quaint and tidy and there wasn't very many people so you can sit wherever (although I got my food to go) I ordered a combination pad Thai ( chicken, pork and beef) and one chicken egg roll. My pad Thai was level 2 spicy (on their scale of 1-5). I didn't find it spicy at all. I appreciate that the food was hot and fresh but I have to be completely honest, my pad Thai had absolutely no flavor. Like none. When I got home, I legit had to add more salt, chili pepper, seasoning and soy sauce to it to enjoy it. Also my noodles at the bottom of the plate was a bit stuck together. I've been patronizing this establishment for about five years. I love their crab fried rice and chicken wings. Both are flavorful however, while they do use real crabmeat and not the imitation, the amount has decreased significantly. I do understand the cost increase of food, that's why I understand the price increase. If I'm paying more I would like to receive the same amount of crab meat. NOTE: This was my first order with this restaurant ever. At 10:49 pm on July 14th, I placed an order (through DoorDash) for a very simple order of Beef Fried Rice. I added a fried egg, pineapple and extra beef.... totaling $20.90 for the fried rice alone. Then I ordered the cheese rolls (basically cream cheese egg/spring rolls that comes with a sauce of some kind. All I revived was the fried rice, and the cream cheese rolls eye actually the first thing I saw that attracted me to this restaurant. It wasn't until after contacting Door Dash support about the missing cheese rolls that I noticed my egg was missing and the fried rice had almost no beef in it all....I paid $3.00 for the extra beef, $2.00 for the pineapple and $1.95 for the egg. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THIS RESTAURANT. For what it's worth (because I was very hungry) I did eat the fried rice and it was pretty damn good. But for $20.90 I feel I should've received a bigger portion of rice AND all of my ingredients should've been included. But I'm serious, if I added up all the beef in my fried rice it would've equaled 2 teaspoons, MAYBE. I uploaded pics to the DoorDash review, but they didn't save to my phone. read more
