To be completely honest, this place wasn't as good as I had wanted it to be. Was in the area and was craving some Thai Food and decided to give this place a try before roaming Dos Lagos. Overall, it could have been better. Looked through the menu to see what there was and ordered my usual at Thai restaurants, Pad Thai. The Pineapple Curry stood out to us so we decided to order the Pineapple Curry as well. We were pretty excited hoping it's like our favorite Pineapple Curry at a local Thai restaurant but unfortunately it wasn't the same. It didn't have the unique flavor it had. It tasted like green curry with pineapple. Hence pineapple curry, I guess. Nothing special about it. The Pad Thai was alright. It was a little bland, like it was missing fish sauce. and if it did have fish sauce, it wasn't enough to carry out the dish's rich flavor. Pricing was average - $11.95 for the Pad Thai and $11.95 for the curry, but I've had cheaper and better at other places. Although the food was lacking, the service we received was good. Our servers were really nice and were always checking up on us and refilling our waters. They were also personable. I'm not sure if it was what we got but the flavor just wasn't there. I guess once you have great Thai food at one place, it's hard to find any other place like it to enjoy it as much. read more

Drove 30 min there to pick up 2 orders of red curry. We get home 30 min later and hungry I take a bite out of the curry and it literally taste like sugar water. Went here a few weeks ago to see the Mugen Train at the Starlight Cinema. I always figured you can't hurt to eat Thai food, but I was wrong. I am honestly baffled, because it looked like it was a well-run establishment. The cashier lady wasn't the greatest hostess, but its a hit and miss with Asian establishment. I typically order pad thai. I decided that it was really windy and cold for late April, so I ordered a yellow curry. I asked the cashier lady what would she recommend, and she said the yellow curry. And it was the worst-tasting curry I have ever had. There was an off-putting gritty texture, its like they used some sort of store-bought spice/powder mix and went extremely crazy on it. It was completely inedible. I went home and salvaged it by just making my own curry in a huge batch and adding this in as filler. My boyfriend ordered the pad thai, which came with this very strong vinegar-y hot sauce. We didn't know and poured most of it into the pad thai; worse decision ever. It was incredibly sour after that, and was disappointed that they use regular cabbage in place of chives and bean sprouts. Overall, will probably never ever come back, and would definitely not recommend this place. read more

Had a great experience the other night and the food was delicious. Service was excellent and the food was even better. Personally my favorite item on the menu would have to be the fish cakes but if we are talking entrees then the Tom Kha Soup is a definite must. read more

I had the honor to have lunch at the Thai Lotus today but unfortunately didn't take any pictures today. Location: At the Dos Lagos Mall in Corona is this tiny restaurant hidden away between all the stores with plenty of free parking available. Atmosphere: Cute little restaurant which was very clean and cozy. Food: We ordered the Papaya Salad, the Spicy Basil Chicken and the Mixed Vegetable Soup. All dishes were ordered medium spicy and none of them disappointed. The Papaya Salad was fresh and very tasty with a nice little kick to it. So was the Spicy Basil Chicken which was very flavorful, and all the ingredients were just to die for. I only had a little bit of the soup which btw was huge and enough to feed an army. I've been trying to find a GOOD Thai place and have struck out until TODAY! This place is awesome. I ordered the Pad See Iew, the Yellow Curry w/ chicken, shrimp spring rolls( no bean sprouts no mint), mango and sticky rice and all 4 items were on POINT! It was so on point that after my movie that same evening I came back to take the same dishes home for dinner. I 100% recommend this place if you're looking for some FANTABULOUS THAI FOOD. Didn't expect to come here. We were just traveling and needing a bite to eat. We had Pan Fried Dumplings, Shrimp Blanket, and Drunken Noodles (Beef) to share amongst 2 people. I got REALLY stuffed. The appetizers are decently sized, but the actual entree was a lot of food. Overall, delicious all around. Definitely have to come back. I love how spicy the Drunken Noodles were. Crab Fried Rice Coconut Fried Rice Glass Noodles...were the perfect election night meal! The food did not disappoint. We wanted Thai food on Tuesday and it was great! Although I'm used to more crab meat in my crab fried rice, the crab friend rice was good. We got the coconut fried rice with no chicken and it was amazing. Not all Thai restaurants carry coconut fried rice so we were pleasantly surprised. The glass noodles with shrimp were a Fav in house because they were seasoned well and so yummy. We also had egg rolls and crab Rangoon for appetizer which was also yummy. When we arrived to pick up the ice cream freezer was out and we decided to indulge....glad we did! I love crab fried rice.. it's my favorite.. well I have to say the to go meal I received tonight was good in flavor but not one piece of crab.. it's sad I have had horrible in restaurant service over the years so went to online order to take home but from this meal I feel like I paid for rice with some spices this use to have chunks of crab now if any it's ground up the size of the rice... sad read more

5 stars for the food. Pineapple fried rice was bomb!!! 2 stars for the service. Service was horrible. Took 20 minutes for us to get 2 sodas and 1 water. Then we ordered, and it took 30 minutes for them to bring out the first entree. They brought out my plate, but not the other 2 entrees. We waited another 10 minutes and they brought out entree number 2. After an additional 15 minutes they brought out our 3rd entree. I was almost done eating my entree by the time the 3rd person at our table got their food. Ya know sometimes it's nice to actually eat together, at the same time when dining out at a restaurant. So service wise it was horrible. They had one guy doing to go orders, bringing the food, taking dine in orders, answering the phone and corresponding with the chefs. Poor guy was over worked and clearly needed some help. They could use another cook in the kitchen too since it seemed like they cooked one entree at a time. read more

I rated Thai Lotus a 5 star because 4 stars just wasn't accurate. They do everything perfect. The food was delicious, the people who work there are very nice (I believe it is family owned), and my to-go order was ready on time. We had the spring roll appetizer which was very fresh. We also had the fried tofu and flat bread. Also perfect. I can't eat Thai food without having a cup of Tom Yum soup. I especially enjoy the exotic taste of the lemon grass. I had mine with chicken. For entrees, we had beef Panang and pad Thai. The servings are ample size and we have left overs for tomorrow. Seriously, everything was perfect. On top of that, I felt good supporting a small ma and pa restaurant in my community. They deserve success especially after enduring the pandemic. read more

The food is hit and miss. The first day I tried Thai Lotus, everything seemed outstanding. The beef salad was good. The service was prompt and attentive. Lots of happy customers enjoying lunch. I talked it up with my peers at work and went back for a return trip. Of course, this time the food was mediocre. The wings were like fried ice. lava hot on the outside, frozen in the middle. The service was still attentive, but they did not replace the wings. It still seemed like others were enjoying their food around us. I noticed most of them were ordering the soup, which did look appealing. I think you have to be careful about what you order here. Stick to common items and it should be enjoyable, but if you venture too far from the norm, you may be in for an unexpected result. read more

Great spot for authentic Thai food located in the Dos Lagos shopping center. The owner and workers are very courteous and welcoming. They answered all questions I had about certain dishes and gave me insight on the levels of spiciness for those dishes. Overall, the food is superb and tasteful. They're open for takeout and delivery. There is also a new green Thai tea that they're promoting and it's really good. Tastes just like the original Thai tea, but green colored instead of orange. This is our go to Thai spot, mostly because we live in the middle of nowhere and there aren't many options. However we are getting used to the menu and now ordering something closer to the spice level we are used to. I will say when you order items with no spice 1) it doesn't taste as good and 2) literally zero spice. Thai food just taste better with a little something. We are usually ordering with small kids in mind. There is a different spice level for the curries and the rice and the noodles. Mild spice in a curry goes a long way vs mild spice in a noodle which is almost like no spice. Food is solid and we come here at least 1-2 times a month. I wish they gave a little more white rice for the curry but we usually get fried rice anyway. Huge fan of the papaya salad need to make it medium next time. read more

I am going to rate this place HIGH because I love it and the food is remarkable if cooked by Jose. BUT....a few suggestions....AMBIANCE..add a nice touch to your tables. Maybe a couple condiments (salt pepper) to start..then try a little candle or small vase with fake orchid. Each party should have access to your little sauce tray without having to beg for it. Tables should be cleared after each course...just keep it clean. I agree with several here about restrooms being less than clean. Also, take a dirty rag over the splashes of sauce on the wavy walls over the booths..would be cleaner than they are now. We love Thai food and the flavors here are really good, but we visited another Thai restaurant (see photos) where you could tell they take pride in ownership....only the food wasn't half as good. Combine the two restaurants and there would be a REAL winner!!! Note in the photos the servers attire (along with the smile) and the decor is much nicer. Shout out to JOSE the cook for always taking care of us...if he's mot in the kitchen cooking you can really tell by lack of flavor in the food. So we've eaten at this spot twice. The first time was pretty good. This time was sooooo greasy it cancels out the first time. I ate it anyway, waiting to see how I am going to feel later. My plate in the photo is from one, medium sized helping of shrimp fried rice. The other photo is from my husband, who had drunken noodles with tofu. We also had yellow curry and spicy egg plant.
