This is my favorite Thai food restaurant, and I am so glad they are here in the high desert as good and quality eateries are hard to find. I find that their chicken and shrimp pad Thai was delicious, full of flavors and very tasty. I also enjoyed their chicken and shrimp sauteed appetizer. I loved the cucumber salad, love the crunch and the sweetness of the cucumbers. I also savoured the mango sweet coconut rice dessert. And I highly recommend the basil fried rice spicy. Full of flavor on every grain. It's unbelievable and so tasty. I find the prices affordable and reasonable given that if I purchased these ingredients and make them at home, it would far exceed the bill I pay at the restaurant. So I am very pleased. Came here for lunch with a friend and I think we'll have to come back and try again! The food was decent but I probably should have tried something different than my go-to. Deep fried salmon is clearly not their popular dish, it was very dry and lacked flavor. The appetizer we tried was good but I wish the sweet chili sauce had more kick to it. My friend had curry with chicken and it was much more flavorful than my dish. The waitress was friendly and even suggested some dishes for us to try. This Thai spot is one of my favorites. The food is so good and consistently delicious every time. Service is okay, nothing standout, but the food more than makes up for it. Everything we've tried has been really flavorful and satisfying. Funny enough, my boss was recently telling me about a Thai restaurant in the area that she loves, and when I asked if it was Thai Lotus, she said yes. That just confirmed it for me. I always pass by this place but never got to try it. I came here one evening just to see if they had mango sticky rice and luckily they did. I waited 20 mins and finally got my order to go. I only ordered the mango sticky rice and I was a little displeased that the coconut sauce was a really tiny container. Otherwise the place probably would have gotten a 5 star from me. I'd been hearing nonstop about Thai Lotus from my coworkers--everyone at the office has ordered from there at least once--so I figured it was finally time to check it out. Finding the entrance was a little confusing (definitely could use a clearer sign or something), but once I got inside, I was seated right away. The host was super friendly and welcoming, which was a nice start. The menu has a ton of options, but I decided to stick with what I know and ordered the Drunken Noodles and Pad Thai. Honestly, I was a bit let down. The Drunken Noodles were kind of dry and didn't have much flavor. As for the Pad Thai... weirdly enough, I've had better from one of those dehydrated camping meal packs. Not what I expected from a sit-down restaurant. On the bright side, the portions were huge--definitely enough for leftovers. I also tried the Thai Tea, but it didn't taste as fresh as ones I've had at other places. Overall, it wasn't terrible, but it wasn't great either. If I'm really craving Thai food and it's convenient, I might give it another shot, but I'm not in a rush to go back. read more

Used to love this place but we are very disappointed tonight. I called to order a to go order around 6 PM and they were out of orange chicken and Thai iced tea. I ordered the yellow curry, drunken noodles, and then beef and broccoli in place of the orange chicken. When we got home and opened the food, we were disappointed in the quantity of food for the price. The beef and broccoli is all broccoli and the beef has no flavor. read more

The food was a 10/10. The orange chicken is the best I have EVER had. It's so tender and crispy and made with only white meat which I loved. The chicken skewers were also so tender and flavorful. Mango sticky rice was sooooo dry, I bent the plastic spoon they gave me trying to cut into, and the little sample size of coconut sauce they give you is literally a joke. A sample size coconut sauce for a cup or more of dry mango sticky rice. My husband is Thai, also makes this dessert and completely different quality of mango sticky rice . Sweet and spicy, came out super hot, shrimp were not overcooked and big chunks of pineapple. My sons had the Chili Beef and Fried Basil Chicken. The Chili Beef was a 7 out of 10. Tender beef but overly sweet. The Basil Chicken was ok. Chicken was a little dry. But good flavor The egg fried rice is good. Basic fried rice. The Thai Iced Tea is not too sweet and the right amount of tea. It's one of the best I've had. The server was super nice and pleasant. The restaurant is small and clean. I placed a pickup order at 6:10 PM and was told it would be ready in 15-20 minutes. I arrived at 6:30, paid, and was told it would be another 10 minutes. Delicious lunch specials are available here weekdays until 3:00 pm. I had the Spicy Sole Fish. It is a good sized fried fish which came with a slightly spicy dipping sauce. The fish was tasty and moist with a few slices of sautéed jalapeños as garnish. Fried rice with egg comes with this meal. I also ordered a Vegetable and Tofu Drunken Noodle. They are Vegetarian and Vegan friendly here. The noodles were flavorful with plenty of that wok caramelization aroma. The level of spiciness can be adjusted according to taste but, to me, it was fine. There is definitely a return trip in the future to this restaurant.
