This place serves the best Thai noodle soup that I've ever had outside of Bangkok. It get crownded over the weekend for lunch but usually we come on the weekday for dinner so we can always find the table without any problem. The two of us eating here usually cost less than $ 20 including tip. My favorite dish from here is the crispy pork with Chinese broccoli and my second favorite gotta be Thai boat noodle soup, be sure to ask for "not spicy" since their medium version tends to be pretty spicy for most non-Thai. What to do on a Friday night, starving at 4pm? My girlfriends suggested this place. We didn't realize it was Happy Hour. Got in, nice atmosphere, two other table had customers - dead and very quiet. We ordered chicken satay and angel wings from the Happy Hour Menu. The chicken satay was dry and flavorless but had nice grill marks and the peanut dipping sauce was good. The angel wings WERE NOT Thai angel wings, just plain and flavorless chicken wings hot off the oil with sweet chili sauce barely poured on top. I was told that their Kuay Teaw Neau Sub (Southern Style Noodles) was amazing by my referral so I ordered it. It looks and tastes like beef pot pie with too much sugar and without the pie crust. It looked like 1 cup of dog food for $9. It was the first time I've ever taken two bites of a main dish and not eat it. No one asked about our food or if we wanted anything else. When the bill came, the waitress didn't ask about my dish that hasn't been touched or how the meal was. I was so hungry. We couldn't get out of their fast enough. $22 meal for a cup of tea, one beer, dry chicken, deep fried flavorless wings and 1 cup of dog food. We went on a Sunday afternoon around 2pm, and they were not too busy. We asked if we could sit outside and the lady (I'm assuming one of the owners) seemed put out that we even asked but sat us outside anyway. I ordered the pad kee mao 'medium' spicy. The dish arrived and had Zero spice added to it, when I asked if this was medium spicy she proceeded to say 'yes' without really even looking at the dish and seemed bothered that I even questioned it. I took a few bites, and went back to her to let her know that it did not have any spice and again she seemed put out, didn't have any urgency to replace the dish, finally came to the table, took it back and basically dumped a bunch of red chili flakes on it, mixed it up and brought it back out. She was rude and unfriendly and the food justs mediocre. We will not be back. They need to take a lesson in friendliness and customer service. read more

Best deal on Thai food by far. Heard good things about this place. Happy hour menu is such a bargain. I ordered the coconut prawns, so delightful! I thought since the happy hour chicken pad Thai was so cheap ($5!!) that it would be smaller portion, but no. I ate to my hearts content and still had leftovers to take home. They give you a Tupperware container for take home, very clever! Ordered my free dessert for checking in on Yelp. Very pleased with the food and service. My GO TO place for Thai food in SW Portland/Beaverton. Consistently great food - seriously, I've never been disappointed and that's saying something for someone pretty fussy about their food in general. My personal faves are the Pad Broccoli with beef, Yellow Curry with chicken and the Lad Nah with shrimp but I really can't see you going wrong with any of their dishes. read more

Pleasant, but incredibly unhelpful service, bland food. The beef in my curry looked of good quality, but the sauces and thai ice tea lacked flavor. It was the service that was worst. My experience with this place just got worse and worse. There's two prices for entrees: lunch, and dinner, which is more after 4pm. I first walk in at 2pm, ask for something to go. Even though there's only 1 other customer, food can't be ready in under 20 mins. I go to my appointment, return. Again, there's only one other customer. It's 3:50pm. I wait, and wait, to have my order taken. I'm finally served, but informed that my meal will now be dinner-priced. I look at the clock: 4:01pm. I arrived at 3:50...can I have lunch price? "Sorry! Computers set the price!" Ok...can I have a coupon discount then, so it's same price? "Sorry!" Ok...(I order.) What's the wifi password? "Sorry!" Can you ask? "No, Sorry!" I get my meal after a while...eat some of it...and then discover a winged insect floating in my sauce. "Sorry!" I send it back, and hear a peal of laughter from the kitchen when my dish gets there. I was dismayed...I had been polite in my requests, then ignored, then laughed at. No attempt was made to make it right. read more

Wow. We were so disappointed by today's visit. This used to be one of our favorite restaurants. The last few times I went, the service wasn't so good. We went back tonight and confirmed it. It's hot outside and we got room temperature water without ice. Who does that on a hot day?! Our Nam Khao came with 3 pieces of romaine lettuce. It usually comes with a wedge of iceberg. The people sitting next to us ordered it and got the iceberg lettuce. We both ordered noodle soups. My husbands noodles were super soggy and I barely had any noodles in mine. The waitress was so quick to walk away I didn't get a chance to ask for their spicy tray. I saw it on the bar so I walked over there to go get it. She then asks which one I wanted. They have this pickled pepper that we love. I asked if she had anymore and she told me no! Not to mention... she didn't check up on us once. So there for... We went here for early dinner on a Saturday night - the food was very good but the service was odd. We were seated promptly but then it took 20-30 minutes for someone to come by and speak to us, despite us making eye contact with staff members multiple times. I came to Yelp to see if it this was normal for this restaurant and it looks like it may be, which is unfortunate. We would like to return but it will have to be when we have lots of time for dinner and aren't worrying about getting a little one to bed on time. Or perhaps we will try takeout. I LOVE Thai food, it is my food of choice whenever I treat myself. Thai Noodle was a new restaurant for me, as I had never heard of them until I signed up with Uber Eats. I am so happy I did! I have not dined in their restaurant, although it looks very clean and beautiful in the pictures I've seen. What I can speak to is the take-out. They are extremely fast, they package the food in plastic, sealed containers which I greatly appreciate since when I order take out from my other go-to Thai restaurant half of the sauce is in the bag by the time I get to it. They follow instructions very well, I customize my dishes quite a bit and have never experienced a mistake. They have high quality ingredients and EXCELLENT taste. Fresh, delicious and consistent great meals. Anything from their menu is excellent. There are several Thai restaurants in the area and this hidden gem is hands down the best. I usually order online which is quick and efficient. The restaurant is simple and cleverly designed. One of these days we will have lunch at the restaurant. The only con is the parking.
