    Great lunch specials

My colleague and I grabbed a quick lunch in between appointments. The service was great. We were seated immediately, browsed the menu and ordered right away. They have some great lunch specials for $14. We ordered Thai iced tea for $5 and our lunch came with choice of salad rolls, fried won ton or another appetizer item. We enjoyed a nice lunch for under $20 bucks. The restaurant is decorated so cute and cozy.

Raving for Satang Thai Cuisine! My husband and I came here and are so impressed by not just the quality/cleanliness of the restaurant but the amazing Thai food! The interior of the restaurant is very cute! Nice tables and pretty light fixture. The satay had a chicken or tofu option, being vegetarian I was curious if the tofu would be good even though chicken is the traditional satay. It was DELICIOUS. My husband got the papaya salad and red curry- 3 and 4 on spice and said it was just like his mom made. I am now a sucker for mango sticky rice, this was awesome. So glad we tried this spot!

What a delightful find super close to our home! We learned Satang has only been open for a few months, so I feel better that we haven't been missing out for longer than we have. The food is the best Thai we've had since moving from the East Bay, CA! The restaurant has lively decor and is clean and bright. Our server was welcoming and warm and offered helpful suggestions. We shared satay as an appetizer, which was fantastic! I ordered the Khao Ka Moo as my entrée, which is served with a small dish of chili sauce. My only regret about my entree was not dipping into that sauce sooner! Unlike my hubby and my daughter's partner (both of whom are hot-food fans), I tend to like my food on the mild side. I was wary of adding any heat to my dish, but I'm here to say, I would pour that chili sauce on everything I eat if I could. It was so flavorful and had a kick, but wasn't spicy for spice's sake. It took the dish from delicious to Nirvana. My daughter got her favorite, Pad See Ew, which she said was the best she's had since dining at one of our favorite Thai restaurants in Santa Cruz, CA--high praise! My hubby had the Pineapple Fried Rice, hot, and hasn't stopped talking about it since. Our daughter's partner got Khao Soi, extra hot, and he loved it! We can't wait to return to try more dishes, and we're excited that, after trying several Thai places in the area, we seem to have found "our go-to"!

So good! Glad to have a thai restaurant near my life and that has lunch specials, too! Although my last two times I've gotten my go to, Khao Soi, a yellow curry dish with soft and fried egg noodles.. so delicious. It's thicker here than other places and they use a de boned chicken thigh that adds a lot of flavor. My friends love the lunch desk, too as it comes with an appetizer!

This new Thai restaurant is so cute! The ambience and decor is really adorable. My husband and I started out with some shrimp salad rolls which were delicious. Then we did family style with the pumpkin spice red curry with chicken and crispy pork with broccoli. The portions were well sized. We went for dinner but would love to come back for their lunch combos which are priced at $14. The food and service were great.

A definite must-try! Ordered takeout from this spot near Scholls and Murray (right next to Roxy's). This was my second visit, and once again, they nailed it! I got the Chu Chi Fish and Thai Street Fried Rice (with tofu and veggies). Both dishes were so flavorful. The fish was perfectly crispy on the outside and tender inside, and that curry sauce it comes with? Delicious. The fried rice was also amazing--don't let the simple menu description fool you, it's packed with flavor. Honestly, I could eat it on its own, but it would go great with just about anything. Everything was just as good as my first visit, and the staff are super friendly too. Definitely coming back--can't wait to try more of their dishes!

I think I found my favorite restaurant! Everything was perfect; the price, food, ambiance and service. Beaverton hit the jackpot! My husband and I shared the fried chicken wontons and cashew chicken. The sauce was mouthwatering. Can't wait to go again!

My default is the Buddha's Delight with chicken and house-made garlic sauce. It's basically a steam/stir fry loaded with a medley of fresh veggies including broccoli, carrots, mushrooms, cabbage and a balanced proportion of white meat chicken. It's a very good sized plate of food and enough for me to take home some leftovers. My husband enjoys their yellow curry with tofu, potato, onion and medium-spicy, creamy sauce. White jasmine rice comes with the dishes, brown is $1 extra. We also like the fresh salad rolls with prawns, lots of crunchy greens, herbs and sides of chili sauce and a yummy peanut sauce. The restaurant can feel a bit crowded and noisy during peak times. The service varies from average to good and the food comes out pretty quickly. One thing that really needs mentioning is that the run-down building exterior and weedy, unkempt landscape have been very poorly maintained to the point that I think this could reflect negatively on an, otherwise, very good restaurant. I could see this being a real turn-off to someone unfamiliar with the positive qualities of the place. Hope they consider putting some time and energy into improving this.

Amazing Thai Food, and service. Highly recommended…read more This place has been a regular go-to for at least once a month for my boyfriend and I. We like to order takeout from this place mostly, but on occasions we choose to dine in to further enjoy the scenery of the place. I am Thai myself so this place does a pretty decent job at making me feel like I'm at home again every time I order their food from here or if I show up to eat at the place. The most recent time I ate from them was February 8th, actually, at 3:00pm a little bit after a rush hour or when it was about to end, so I feel like maybe I ordered at a good time. Still, I had a good experience and a nostalgic feeling with every bite that went down. Their menu is pretty well designed, easy to read, well-laid out and self explanatory. The people always greet you kindly and make you feel welcomed which I think is pretty cool too. The pricing is very much debatable. When I say that, I mean that the price number may shock you while you're reading the menu, but that is until you start eating your dish that you ordered and thought it was "expensive" you realize you almost always need to loosen up your pants after we're done eating like my boyfriend, or you need to bother the waitress for a big to go box after already eating the best you could. Almost every single time, that has happened to us and we laugh about it every single time. We usually order the Sweet Sausage Fried Rice and Pad See Ew with chicken. My boyfriend is a big fan of the sweet sausage fried rice, he is a big fried rice lover already and has had sweet sausage before but never together in fried rice so this menu intrigued him the first time he read the menu and saw it as an option. After he tried it, he never stopped going back for more. I, on the other hand like their Pad See Ew much more because I grew up with homemade fried rice a lot so making it myself wasn't a big deal, but stir fried noodles that was something my family would always go out of their way to dine at or order take out from and they would try to top one another which restaurant they thought was better and why (e.g. more meat, more noodles, looks prettier, worth the money more, it's an award-winning, michelin star winning, franchised by this celebrity from this movie, etc.. you name it) so finding good stir fried flat rice noodles was a hit and miss for my family so eating really good stir fried noodles that I found in the US near the comfort of my home really made me feel good. Their service was exceptional, really. Online and in store, really good. When we were dining in at one point, my boyfriend who is a picky eater due to sensory issues, wanted no onions, tomatoes, and some other things in his fried rice I can't remember too sure. But, I tried speaking Thai to the waitress since her appearance seems to be Thai as well, and sure enough she was Thai too and she was really sweet and helped accommodate me and my boyfriend to suit our preferences the entire time. We also tried ordering Pink Milk too which is a childhood refreshing summer drink of mine which really just consists of Ice, Milk, and Hale Blue Boy Red Syrup but it tastes sweet and smells like strawberry and hits the spot really well on a hot day, and that's exactly what it tasted like. We both loved the drink, we almost wanted to order another one, actually. I recommend this place to anyone who wants to try new foods, is interested in asian, southeast asian cuisine, or even just seafood and other food combinations with it. No need for studying the culture or menu, the people are very welcome to people who don't know anything about Thailand or Thai food at all. I recommend showing up at happy hours too, if you can. They have good deals and discounts on food and all kinds of beverages. Definitely worth the money, can seem like a little bit up there if it's your first time or you just don't eat there too often. Very flexible with accommodations in person and especially, also upfront about additional charges for additions to your menu item. An experience worth paying for from time to time, in my opinion.
