    Khao Man Gai (Thigh)
    Stacey L.

If you're a fan of Nong's, this place is a close second to the famous khao man gai chicken dish. The gingery sauce is delicious, and the chicken is tender to perfection. The soup that's comes on the side was a little too peppery for me, but other than that everything about this dish was really solid! Will absolutely get this again being close to my work. It's just really feel-good food, don't pass this menu item up! The service when I picked up my food to go was really friendly, and the restaurant itself was beautifully decorated, clean and smelled nice as I walked in.

The ambiance is peaceful and quiet. Most people order to go or delivery through the apps. I like to have a seat and just enjoy my food. I've tasted a few different dishes so far. Pad Thai with chicken as well as tofu. Pad see ew with tofu, crab fried rice, pineapple fried rice. The fried banana spring roll was perfect for dessert. They're always very friendly and accommodating. I always get the large Thai Tea. Everything has been delicious and I have no complaints. I really enjoyed the pad see ew, it has a vegan soy sauce in it which is different from the gravy I had in it at other places..I liked it much more than the others I've had. I will definitely be ordering that again. Family owned and local to Beaverton, it's definitely worth a try!

This place was such a great find! Delicious food, great atmosphere and great customer service! We have been 3 times and have not been disappointed. The pad se ew is a favorite! Try it! Come support this great small business.

    Crab fried rice

I ordered a crab meat fried rice today & my fried rice comes with a little bit of crab meat (1/2 of a tablespoon) on top of the fried eggs, no crab meat in the fried rice itself. This is a false advertisement! The fried rice does not have the Thai special taste to it. It is like a heatable grocery store fried rice bag. Trader Joe's fried rices are better than this. Order was prepared quick and the staff is nice.

The perfect place for a casual meal. I was delightfully surprised when they offered complimentary soda and thai tea pudding when I ordered my pad thai. Any noodle, curry, fried rice or special order comes with it during their brunch open - 3pm, Mon - Fri. The food came out fast and the pad thai tasted delicious. For $14 it was a good deal!

Thai food is one of my favorites so I was excited to try this new place since there's only a few good spots here in Beaverton. It's a counter service restaurant so the prices are reasonable. The staff were friendly and welcoming. I like the decor, it was simple and showed much of the Thailand heritage. I ordered the Pineapple Curry with chicken and a Thai Iced Tea (with coconut milk for a dairy free option). To my surprise, the curry wasn't sweet. It had a good balance of spices. Also you can't get Thai food with these low prices nowadays (curry and many menu items are just $11). And the portion was just enough! Would definitely be coming back here.

    1. Khao Man Gai - get it! Thai coconut milk Matcha - so good! 6. khao yam gai sap - if crispy would be better!

Did takeout for the first time thru Doordash and enjoyed the Khao Man Gai (if there's an option for dark meat only, I'd choose that). The chicken was succulent and the rice was savory, the sauce was tasty and delicious but not overly garlicky. Normally, garlic and ginger would be coming out of my pores all day but this didn't happen. It's a great alternative to try closer to Beaverton than Nong's in Portland.

There was ample seating to suit every mood (table and chairs, comfy chairs, and comfy sofas with plenty of outlets and side tables). There's a fun and fresh local artist goods shop tucked in the front corner. It's a perfect place to find a gift for yourself or others. The menu is a nerdy dream come true. When we visited a couple of weeks ago in May, the themed drinks were Lord of the Rings and Mario. I had the Gondor, which, if I recall, may have had hazelnut and cinnamon. I DO recall that it was delish. I forgot what drink my daughter ordered, but she enjoyed it as well. I look forward to coming back and trying their London Fog, which is one of my favorite drinks and seems to have significant praise from other reviewers. We didn't get an opportunity to try the food, but look forward to in the future. One refreshing surprise is that this is a no-tip establishment. I don't recall what I paid for the drinks, but I appreciate places that charge what they need to make their business work and to (hopefully) pay their employees a living wage. Brickhaus is rooted in community and belonging, and I am here for it!

I stopped by Deadstock Coffee while visiting the area and immediately loved the concept. As someone who loves coffee but loves sneakers even more, this place felt right up my alley. One thing that caught me off guard was that there wasn't a traditional menu posted. As a first-time visitor, I wasn't sure what coffee options, blends, or milk choices were available. Thankfully, it wasn't too busy, and the employee working was incredibly patient, friendly, and happy to walk me through everything. Customer service like that goes a long way. My drink was excellent, and the sneaker design printed on top of the coffee was such a cool touch. It's one of those little details that makes the experience memorable and fits perfectly with the brand. Whether you're a sneakerhead, a coffee lover, or both, Deadstock Coffee is worth checking out. I've tried both the ube coconut latte and the black sesame latte, each made with plant-based milk instead of regular milk. The ube coconut latte was smooth, well-balanced, and not overly sweet. The black sesame latte, however, was the standout for me. It had a rich, nutty flavor and is hands-down my favorite of the two. I don't believe it's a regular menu item, so if you happen to see it, I'd definitely recommend giving it a try. Loro is on the pricier side, which is why I don't visit as often as I'd like, but I genuinely think it's worth it. The quality of the food and drinks makes it feel like a special treat. The only reason I'm giving four stars instead of five is the parking. The café is tucked between apartments and other retail spaces, so street parking is your only option. I've had to circle the block several times before finding a spot, making it less convenient if you're driving. Parking aside, this is a charming neighborhood coffee shop that consistently serves flavorful food and thoughtfully crafted drinks.
