Solid Thai food in a more inconspicuous location. Great bang for the buck with the lunch buffet.

The staff was nice and the restaurant got really busy during lunch time. I like that you get enough sauces and that they offer a Buffett. Honestly I thought food was a little dry and the summer rolls were really dry. The selection was not great and out of the whole Buffett I ended up eating only couple items so was not really worth it. I lived in Thailand for many years, and this is hands down the best Thai food in the area. I love the lunch buffet that is always hot and fresh. The ability to have a variety of dishes to choose from and all of them are fresh makes this an outstanding choice for a lunch with friends. Their Thai wings are one of my favorites along with Pad Thai which is much more difficult to make correctly than many people realize. This is truly Thai comfort food for those who really enjoy Thai cuisine. The staff are very friendly and make you feel right at home. This is my favorite spot to go to on the weekends. They have a buffet before 3 and it is really good. When I don't go during buffet hours my go to is the Chicken Pad Thai. Excellent food, authentic Thai. I love the selection, at least 25 items to eat and all very well made. I love the Thai salad, Tom Yum soup, curries, bbq wings and pork, fish and the variety of bobba drinks. This place was amazing. We are traveling through and went because of Yelp reviews! So, so good! The buffet was such a wide variety of very fresh dishes and soups. The Tom Yum Gai was delicious, Red Curry Chicken, Egg Plant, and Chicken with Basil-superb. We couldn't believe getting this quality & variety on a lunch buffet and yet so reasonably price. This is my favorite go-to Thai place when I need to get in and out. The buffet is great, and I love their sweet tea. The downside of any buffet is the business keeping all of the items filled, but they do a pretty good job. I've only gone once where they struggled to keep up with the demand of the patrons. I have eaten here 3 times recently. I love their lunch buffet! I get to eat some of my favorites and try many new dishes too. On our most recent visit they had shrimp cocktail. There are usually a couple of curry dishes and quite a few dishes that have fresh veggies in them. There are so many great flavors and not everything is spicy. read more

Real Thai food, the buffet is excellent - you will not find many Thai restaurants that have that. My gal and I love to order dinner for home, shrimp vegetable and egg rolls, and red curry we love. I don't know what is wrong with the lady that gave low marks, you can't beat the food here. read more

Went here for lunch yesterday and decided to try the buffet based on what other yelpers suggested. They were correct about the buffet being a few items and that the food is delicious. Having a few items actually works better for me because I don't have to worry so much about what I'm gonna put on my plate, and it's easier for them to keep fresh food out. Lunch buffet is where its at! Excellent options such as panang beef, eggplant delight, and of course pad thai to choose from. For such a small buffet, they do a great job at quickly refilling items. This is THE BEST place to go to in the SA area for Thai food! The buffet is absolutely delicious, and the workers are constantly putting out new and fresh food. The Panang curry was my favorite (so spicy and flavorful). I also really love the cheese wonton-spring rolls and the eggplant! There are just so many options, you will definitely get full! I would invite several friends from work to join me in a Friday Thai lunch. AMAZING! I love the option of the beef or chicken curry, spring rolls and their sweet rice. This may be the best Thai food restaurant in the area. The cost is a bit high but for a buffet, you can't go wrong! The only complaints I have are, parking. Limited parking and No Parking Signs across the street in an abandoned lot. The buffet is a bit limited and once it gets busy, being as it is so close to RAFB, everyone comes here. read more

Super lunch buffet for only $10!! Maybe I am used to HI prices, but this was incredibly high quality ingredients and superb preparation (and crazy cheap!). The green curry with chicken and the eggplant were both standouts; also, the fruit and veggie bar (including papaya salad and thai beef salad) was great. Particularly since they had wonderful chilled seedless watermelon slices sans skin that worked beautifully with the spicy green curry (very good heat index). Crispy fried tofu which I was the only one who enjoyed (guess it has to have 4 legs in Texas to be considered protein...). Fried spicy chicken wings and spring rolls flow in abundance. Also, plenty of pad thai, fried rice, and other starchy stuff. But, the green curry, the eggplant, the watermelon, and a little steamed rice were all I needed to be super happy. Close to the main gate of Randolph and plenty of parking. Definitely will come back next trip. read more

Have ate there for many years and my college son about 2-3 times a week some weeks. I got a call from the contact for a relative with end of life cancer. I left my wife at the table while I went outside to talk. A very heavy Thai employee folding the napkins jumped up, followed me outside and then went back in side accusing me of trying to leave without paying, right in front of my wife. My wife left without paying a tip so I went back in to pay the tip. When I went in I confronted the lady who acted like she could only speak Thai, although I had sat there eating hearing her talk to people in English myself. If decent food is worth being insulted in English and Thai this is the place to go. That was my first and last Thai insult. I will never recommend to anyone else again. I hope I can talk my son out of going back as well! read more

Everyone I bring to Thai O' Cha gets hooked! The buffet has so many excellent choices that it's impossible to eat just one helping. The fan favorites include the beef salad (left/front), the chicken laab (left/back), and most of all, the spicy chicken (which isn't hot) (right/front)...you have to be quick though, that goes fast! There are two types of egg rolls: cream cheese filled, and veggies. Both are delicious. Don't miss the dessert bar to the side! CAUTION: The pepper dish on the little table in front of the buffet that innocently looks like regular red peppers you'd put on pizza swimming in clear liquid--isn't! I'm fairly certain it can cure AIDS though!!! read more
