First, let me say if you've never tried Thai food, you're seriously missing out. This place has the best Thai Food in Beaumont/Banning! Everything we've ever tried here is always delicious. The staff are so sweet and the food is amazing. With one vegetarian in the family, finding an assortment of savory and filling dishes at a restaurant that the whole family likes to share can be tricky, but we've never been disappointed at this restaurant. A few of our favorites on the menu are the Vegetable Pad Thai, Green Papaya Salad (a word of warning: order this one mild if you don't like spice, and medium spicy if you like a little heat. Don't get it at full force unless you can truly handle spice!), Mussaman Curry with Tofu, and Thom Ka Gai (Chicken Coconut Soup). One of the best refreshing desserts is the Mango Boba smoothie, especially during our hot summers. Delicious food all around! It was a very busy Sunday dinner rush when we arrived but server was attentive. The portions are a great size and the price is very reasonable. Pad Thai was saucy and spicy, just the way I ordered. The pad see eu had the deep smoky flavor. I placed an order at 7:10pm for two dishes. The lady told me it would be ready in 20 min. My husband arrived to pick up the order at 7:30pm, straight from work after a 2.5 hours commute to find out the order was not ready. He had to wait 30 min at the place. They are liars! They won't place the phone order until you actually arrive there and pay. Won't be going back to this place. I can't stand dishonesty. And on top of that the food was nasty! Everything was excellent especially spicy basil noodles ! And even tried the mango sticky rice for dessert. Very tasty.

Our usual Thai spot (that's closer) was closed on Sunday so we decided to give Thai Orchids a try and I'm glad we did! We ordered the Spicy Basil with Shrimp and Spicy Noodle (Drunken Noodle/Pad Kee Mao) and both dishes were a good level of spice and tons of fresh flavor. The portions were pretty good and so were the prices. Definitely worth giving a shot and a good place to order from when our normal spot is closed. read more

In considering a new place to move, I always try to find a local Thai restaurant since Thai is my favorite cuisine. We were seated promptly, but needed a few minutes to check out the extensive menu. Our waitperson seemed a bit impatient, and I gather that she didn't write down our order since she didn't put in for the Fried Tofu we ordered for an appetizer. Our dishes, Pad Thai and Panang Curry didn't come out at the same time, but portions were large. I must say, this was some of the blandest Thai food I've ever had-- grocery store Thai has much more flavor. As for drinks, we ordered a Thai Iced Tea with boba and Honeydew boba-- both were weak and very disappointing. I decided to skip dessert, which was a good thing. Didn't eat much, which was also a good thing because what I did eat made me sick for a few hours afterward. Minimalist decor-- a bit unusual considering the usual Thai decor I've found in Norcal and Texas Thai restaurants, and there is limited seating. I can forgive bland food if the environment is pleasing, but Thai Orchids fails on that front, too. I won't be returning. read more

Crept in to Thai Orchids close to closing time to visit for the 1st time. Had a very welcoming reception and sat down to wait for my to-go order. Ordered vegetarian-style pad thai, yellow curry, black pepper stir-fry. All good! We did wish that the curry had more heat/kick, but we forgot to ask for hotter. read more

I found this restaurant via the HappyCow app and was excited to a separate vegetarian menu. We were warmly greeted when we entered the restaurant and promptly given menus. At the employee's suggestion, hubby had garlic tofu served on a bed of cabbage and I had pad see ew with tofu. We split an order of vegetable fried rice. The food arrived quickly and was delicious. Pulled over to grab a quick bite and discovered this gem! We were starving so we ordered many items from the menu. The food was so fresh, the chef definitely took their time in making every meal. Combination Fried Rice and the Orange Chicken are really good. I am not a huge curry fan, but their curry is very tasty.

Great Thai food! My dad's diabetic and is reluctant to eat at Thai restaurants because of the amount of sugar in most dishes. Thai Orchid has a great assortment of dishes that don't have too much sugar. Their dishware are flavorful and the portions are large. I'm a fan of the mussamun curry. It's great! read more

I am sorry but I do not agree with the great reviews. There were 3 of us dining. We ordered and our food came out at 3 different times, not together. The 2 people I was with said their pad Thai was good but ordered 3 as far as Spicy and it was waaaay too hot! I ordered the coconut chicken soup and it was terrible. There were hard stringy thick stems in it, very tough chicken and canned button mushrooms. I did not think it was edible. I guess stick to the noodles but beware of the spice. I do have to say the people that worked there were friendly. I'll give them that. read more
