The salad and soup were ordered medium heat. We had water with lemon and shared a Asahi beer. The Papaya salad was delicious, fresh and had a little heat. The Tom Yum soup was excellent, creamy, wonderful coconut and lemon grass flavors. The Green Curry was one of the best curry dishes I've ever had. Deep and complex flavors, creamy coconut offset the heat perfectly. The atmosphere was causal and relaxed. The server was friendly and helpful in answering a few questions we had about the menu. Never had to ask for water refills as service was very prompt. We look forward to returning very soon. Highly recommended for excellent Thai cuisine with bold flavors!

I recently wrote a review about Thai patio. A place that I have been going to for about a year. I love the food and have always had a pleasant experience, until recently. I was asked by the owner to take down my review due to some 'misunderstandings' as well as me writing that the manager was the owner. I took down the review, but would like to put up what the actual owner write to me, and my new response. I thank Thai Patio for reading my review and correcting me in the places that I was wrong. This review is based on how the Manager treated an employee, not the food. I have a zero tolerance for people treating others disrespectfully and berating them in from of others. This was unacceptable. Here is the owners response to me: teera j. Hello, I got a chance to read your review, and I am glad that you took the time to leave one. However, there is some incorrect information and I would like to explain. The woman you saw yelling is the manager, not the owner, and the young man she was yelling at was not an employee. He has just been training with us for over a month and he was having alot of trouble remembering what he had been taught, so he asked the manager to train him really hard and to yell if he made mistakes because it makes him learn and remember better. I apologize for the discomfort you must have felt during this incident, and my manager wishes to apologize sincerely. Walked into this place today because my wife wanted to try it out. Sign outside says something to the effect of "We keep it clean and safe for all". Safe? How about the first thing we see when we walk in is this woman behind the counter....WITH NO MASK! How are you keeping people safe when you clearly don't care about the risk of not wearing a mask poses to others? My wife asked if there was a mandate to wear mask. It's almost unrealistic how friendly they are every time I call and/or come in to pick up food. It always puts a smile on my face. :) The food is equally awesome and always tastes fresh. I would agree with some of the other reviews that the cleanliness of the actual restaurant isn't amazing, but it's what I would expect from a hole in the wall family run place and it's never affected our food or service. Terrible food. Terrible service. A dumpy restaurant that's cramped with no space . An owner that's an absolute bitch. The owner tries to add on tips to your meal without asking and started yelling at us because we wouldn't give her above 15% tip. Called my girlfriend and I mean people and poor. My go-to Thai restaurant. The staff is really nice and makes sure that your needs are catered to. I usually get the Red Curry or Pad Thai and love both. Be careful with the heat level as they do pack a punch like most Thai restaurants. read more

No offer to replace the dish or anything. Why won't they use a better cut of beef and charge a bit more? I really wanted to like this restaurant but the flavor of food was just lacking and that tough cut of beef! Very disappointing lunch unfortunately.

The place is small and intimate for cute and cozy feelings. Clean and organized. Service was very welcoming and kind. We ordered the house fried rice with pork and chicken. Sooo delicious ! Full of flavor and yummy vegetables. Chose a 2 level spice and was not spicy at all (we have a lower spice tolerance). Good size plate. Also got the yellow curry with tofu, level 2 spice. The spice was only at the end, I kind of want to try a level 3. It was tasty, potato's could have been a little softer but still enjoyable. I enjoyed the crab puffs but my bf felt they were too creamy? lol Anyway, really enjoyable experience and I look forward to coming back :)
