The place was quiet with me and another couple. Service was fast which was nice. I got the hot/spicy soup. Broth was spot on. My issue was the flavoring bark was cut into 1/4" pieces. We happened to stop by because pho across the street was very busy. There were only a few parties in this lobby and their menu was marked as vegan friendly. Our server was nice and attentive. We ordered the vegan orange chicken and vegan coconut princess. The dishes came out quickly and good portion. The flavor of the coconut princess was incredible. I ordered a 3 spicy and it was so good. It came with white rice for us both. The orange tofu. Wow. The flavor AND crispy texture was just too good. We had to end with mango sticky rice. We got a new Thai restaurant that replaced Phuket in Fulton Ranch Towne Center. They have a decent sized menu with most of the standard proteins except duck. Whenever I go to a new Thai restaurant, I usually start with a standard like Pad Thai. Theirs was very tasty. I chose Chicken which was tender. The sauce was the textbook sweet and sour with exactly the amount of heat I would expect when ordering level 3 on a 5 scale. Not American spicy but Thai middle spice level which means a noticeable heat but not "I need water NOW" hot. The noodles were also very tender. The service was quick and friendly. The atmosphere was up to date and clean but in keeping with what you would expect in a strip mall. I also made sure to see how appropriate it would be for my wife who has quite a few allergies. For those with shrimp allergies, you know that Thai food can be challenging as most curry paste mixtures include shrimp past and Savor is no exception but they did work with me to find several options for my wife such as the Coconut Princess or the Chicken Pad Thai that I was enjoying so I will definitely return with her. I always come here but I remembered to take a picture finally. I got the Thai fried rice and it was so good. I got spicy level 3 and it was perfect. It seems to have a little sweetness to it since they changed owners but still delicious. My friend got a noodle dish that she enjoyed. The service was good too, it was a weekday. This place used to be called Phuket Thai, and we disliked it. It wasn't good. Apparently, they're under new ownership and now called Savor Thai. We had hopes they may had improved, so we DoorDashed them. Nothing was better. In fact, everything was worse. The Chicken Satay were pretty good, hence the second star. But the entrees sucked. My wife and I came here for late lunch. They have changed owners and name from Phuchet Thai to Savor Thai. We were greeted and seated by our waitress Vickie who explained the new menu. We each ordered a Singha Beer and water. My wife got the Pad Thai with chicken off of Lunch Special menu. I ordered the Massaman Curry with chicken. We also ordered some Fresh Spring Rolls. The spring rolls were excellent! Came with peanut sauce and sweet chili Thai sauce. Yummy.....our lunch specials came with a small salad with peanut sauce and it was very good..Fresh crisp lettuce and carrot slivers. Our main lunch came shortly thereafter and we're also excellent. The plate of Pad Thai was huge. My Curry came with white rice and I had ordered the Curry 1 star spicy. It was very good and had plenty of chicken in it. Vickie checked back frequently and asked our names, and asparagus we paid and left she thanked us by name for dining here. We really liked our visit..good food, great service, nice and clean inside. Phuket Thai is solid, and that I cannot take away from it though I do have a few gripes that we'll talk about in a minute. As always friends, the positives: Awesome staff and service.... Upon entering we were happily greeted by our friendly waitress who quickly sat us down and within a flash menu's were in front of us. Service was prompt and good throughout with all the beats being met in sync (drink orders, drinks to table, food orders, salads, refills, food to table, checkup, check, cleanup and out) a seamless process that Phuket Thai has down. Environment... while not the greatest environment ever, Phuket Thai is comfortable and is reminiscent of family owned business (which it very well may be) The negatives: The salad was overall good. While I'm not a fan of the peanut sauce dressings (which others may be), this one was warm and pretty darn good. The lettuce choice itself was iceberg though which was ok. My only other gripe was regarding the heat level. I ordered my curry hot, as I am a big fan of spicy food. While I was expecting a touch of hades to my day, I don't think I even got to the gates. Outside of that, a solid, warm (temperature), curry! Would I go back, yes I would. It wouldn't be my overall first choice but for price and experience it's worth it! read more

It's been a long while since I posted my initial review and I thought I should capture their improvements and make sure my rating was current. Somewhere along the way their kitchen flipped a switch from ordinary to fantastic. Everything is cooked to perfection. The staff are very friendly and fast. It's a toss up for my favorite, either Penang or yellow curry. Both have wonderful creamy curries with a perfect balance of protein, rice, and veggies. I love the authentic atmosphere that has continuous Thai music along with the traditional decor paying homage to royalty and spirituality. In the past, I really liked this restaurant, especially for their orange chicken and their pad Thai. One of the problems we noticed recently is the orange chicken has very little chicken inside of it and mostly breading. You will also encounter a problem with the hours they're open. I think they close sometimes just whenever they want. And or they run out of sauce for things. My friend and I call several times and try to get takeout. And have had a challenge. We have ordered takeout from here once before but this was our first time dining in the restaurant. Ordered the Phuket Fantasy to start. Veggie rolls were crispy and packed, the fried wontons were a little too spicy for my liking but they were flavorful with the sweet potatoes; the chicken satay was tender and the sauce was the perfect compliment; the crab wonton was good with a crisp shell and filled center. Hubby ordered Coconut Princess with shrimp instead of chicken and he was really impressed. The sauce was sweet and the level 1 was just enough heat to finish off. The shrimp were sautéed well and the mushrooms were good he just wished there was more cabbage in the bowl. I ordered side salad, side steamed veggies, and the pad Thai with deep fried tofu. The salad was just iceberg with some purple cabbage and carrots but the peanut sauce dressing was delicious. The steamed veggies were perfect tender crisp I wish I just kept some of the peanut sauce from the salad to add to it! The pad Thai was not my favorite. It was covered in sauce and didn't taste like the flavors I'm used to for the dish. It was almost gelatinous with the noodles. Hubby enjoyed it and will be taking it home for lunch tomorrow. The server was friendly and patient even when having to deal with some needy and demanding patrons around us. Based on the reviews we were excited to try Phuket Thai! Overall the food is great. We did take-out instead of dine-in and even the portion sizes for take out were huge. I ordered the crab puff appetizer, and pad se eew. My boyfriend had the beef and broccoli. While the crab puffs were delicious I was a bit disappointed in the amount you get (5) but they cost almost $7. I know a ton of Chinese food places give you way more for much less.
