Wow had the toughest beef of my life here! Went around 1pm and the lunch special menu looked pretty good. They come with soup or salad and an egg roll. Chicken dishes are $10.99, beef is $11.99 and $12.99 for shrimp. We however opted to order from the regular menu. We ordered drunken noodle with beef $13.99 and spicy basil with chicken $12.99. I chose level 2 spice for both dishes due to hubby not being able to handle a lot of heat. Well, there was not a hint of spice in either dishes. When I have Thai food, I expect a lot of umami but the flavor in both dishes were very mild. And the beef in drunken noodle oh my was soooo tough that it was inedible! I ended up picking through the noodles and the few vegs it came with. Spicy basil with chicken was just boring and the chicken was dry too. The server asked how everything was and I told her how tough the beef was. She said let me see what I can do. She comes back and says that the beef is tough because they don't use baking soda. No offer to replace the dish or anything. Why won't they use a better cut of beef and charge a bit more? I really wanted to like this restaurant but the flavor of food was just lacking and that tough cut of beef! Very disappointing lunch unfortunately. read more

This was my first time having Thai food but wife convinced me to give it a shot. I decided on level 2 spicy basil chicken with rice. I was expecting a burst of flavor but what I got was pretty bland. Ordered twice now and both times food was fantastic! Spicy noodles medium heat was delicious, with a good spicy kick and great portion size. Also really enjoyed the Panang Curry with medium heat. I think this place is great! My friend and I come here all the time when we want some Thai comfort food. You will never have to wait a long time, the place is always clean, the servers are friendly and nice, the food comes out quick, they are not overpriced, and most importantly, the food is delicious! I love seasoning and this was perfectly seasoned, in my opinion, got the level 3 spice and it was ok, I probably could have went a level 4 spice. My husband got the Thai Ginger (pad king sod) and it was bursting with flavor! Ginger was perfect! Customer service was pretty good, overall I would give this place an 8/10. We will be returning. I've driven by this place several times & finally decided to give it a shot. I ordered an order of eggrolls & Thai fried rice (spice level 4). Eggrolls (4 to an order) were nice & crispy, the sweet & sour was a tad too thick for my liking, could have used a little heat. The fried rice had nice chunks of tender chicken and good heat for me. Fantastic, FRESH, and at a great price. I hope this place never changes. We visit on a fairly regular basis and the food is consistently excellent. And this includes the soups and appetizers. I'm not fond of the peanut salad dressing but that's the only knock I have. Besides the food, the atmosphere is quiet and peaceful. Today was my first experience with My Thai Bowl. Covid-19 has slowed my dining down a lot but I was craving some Tom Yam Bu and spicy curry. Upon entering the door the place was empty and seemed somewhat sparse. Seating had been moved for ample social distancing. The woman at the front desk promptly greeted me. I looked the menu over, remembering all the flavors and dishes I tried on my long stint in Bangkok. I decided on the Penang Curry, Tom Yam Bu and Pad Thai NO spicy for the kids. The woman at the counter told me that it would be ready in 8 minutes and it was. I raced home and opened the take away packages to delicious smells. The Tom Yam was spicy and tangy. The Penang was peanuts and spicy and the pad Thai was just pad Thai (not generally my favorite dish). It was a decent price, fast and good tasting. It's not Thailand, but a worthy rapid fix. Very disappointed! Definitely much better good and customer service at Mr. Thai Bistro. We ordered a $17 seafood soup that was good but small portions of seafood. We also ordered pineapple fried rice that was good as well & also much smaller portion than Mr. Thai Bistro & not as delicious. However, the potsticker appetizer we ordered was brought out after our meal and they simply tasted like frozen pot stickers. We ate one total and asked to have it sent back and they refused. Very poor customer service by the owner, Nuch. Don't waste your time here. There are several family owned Thai restaurants around here that have significantly better food and customer service!!!! Visited on a Sat around 1pm and place was completely empty. No lunch specials even though their website showed everyday lunch. I was asked wether I would be dining in but the vibe was they looked like they were getting ready to close. I took my meal and left. The food was hot and quite tasty but definitely overpriced.
