I was in the area doing some shopping and was in the mood for Thai food. Yelp led me here. I was alone and needed some quiet time so this place was perfect for me. There were so many yummy items on the menu I couldn't decide. I figured I try something different than my usual pad Thai and Panang curry I typically order at other Thai restaurants. I started with the tom kha soup as my appetizer. And then I had the nam sod salad as my main. The fish sauce in the lime dressing gave the salad a kick but it wasn't overpowering and the fresh ginger with peanuts helped balance out the flavors. It was light and refreshing. I'd order this again.

We've been wanting to try this for a while and it was delicious lunch. The lunch special prices are very affordable for large portions. We had the Chicken Chili Special, Shrimp and Crab House fried rice, wonton soup and spring rolls. It was all served piping hot and fresh. The service was extremely warm and friendly. We will be back to try other things on the menu.

The thai crackle shrimp was unique and a quite tasty dish, thought it was a fun addition to the meal for sure. Would recommend if looking for a yummy, fun appetizer. It's essentially shrimp wrapped in fried spring roll wrapper. The pad krapow was decent, had a fair amount of flavor. Definitely expected the pork to be minced though when I ordered it as that's how I usually see it with pad krapow. Feel like I would have enjoyed it more if it was minced so that it could take up more flavor. Good amount of veggies. It kind of more reminiscent of a regular entree (sauce + rice + veggies) than a traditional pad krapow but still enjoyable and had good flavor.

I ordered this on a random night and I was very pleasantly surprised. The food came nice and fresh and they also sent the peppers I requested. The service was quick and friendly which can be hard to find. It's hard to find good Thai food in Orlando so I recommend giving this place a try!

The food was great. Went in for a take out. Only waited less then 10 minutes & my food was done. Friendly service & food delicious. Cute little restaurant

This restaurant is in a strip mall and so cute inside. We arrived at 5 and we were seated immediately. We got chicken red curry and shrimp pad seee ew. The shrimp was huge and the noodles were decent. I wish it had a little more sauce but decent otherwise! The red curry was very thin, which I prefer a little thicker and creamy to stay on my rice. The flavor was lacking. They dye the sticky rice in the mango sticky rice, which I could've done without. We ordered two because our kids loved the mango. I asked her for extra mango and she said she would tell the chef, but there was none. I told her she can charge me for the mango as well bc the kids loved it. The sauce was also very thin, I wish there was more coconut cream over the rice. If you are going to charge a little more, just give quality, we don't mind paying! Very tidy restroom though! Try it if you're in the area! Thai tea was good as well, but $6!

I came here alone one week night for a nice quiet dinner. There were only two other tables with customers, so I was greeted and seated immediately. I ordered cream cheese wontons and drunken noodles. Both took a few minutes to come to me, so I know they were being made right then. The wontons were hot and steamy and the first couple burned my tongue a bit cos I was impatient, so they'd just come out of the fryer. The ratio of filling to wonton wrapper was good. The drunker noodles were plentiful and had a nice flavor. I got mild but I wish I'd gotten medium--they could have used a little spice. The veggies were just as I like them--cooked but still with a crunch. The thai iced tea was delicious, but I've never had bad thai iced tea. I'd bathe in it if it were socially acceptable. Fast, friendly service, fresh food, and calm and quiet ambiance. I had a nice meal and left a good tip. I recommend!

I was running around doing a return kn a Christmas gift, thirsty and hungry, hoping that I could grab some yummy lunch. I got lucky that they were open for lunch so I stopped in and was quickly sat down. I went with the shrimp pad thai ($17) since it was what Mami ate the time I took her and it looks spectacular. My plate was packed full of tamarind flavored noodles, thick plump shrimp and crisp bean sprouts on the side. It was so good. I normally go for the peanut curry but I am happy to change it up. The service was quick. There weren't a lot of folks but it was the day after Christmas and most folks were most likely working

The food was so delicious. Ordered spring rolls for appetizer. Had the drunken noodles with chicken and beef as well as shrimp pad Thai.

On my journey to try all the Thai spots in the Orlando area, this one is a standout! Very close to the top of my list and also in a very convenient area, I will definitely be back to Thai Place. The appetizers we tried, spring rolls and pot stickers, were both delicious and generously portioned for the price. My entrée, Garlic Pepper Tofu, was flavorful, a perfect consistency, and came with plenty of my favorite vegetables in a well-seasoned broth. The service was also outstanding! Our server was attentive but not overbearing and had a great sense of humor. Overall an outstanding experience that I can't wait to return to!

I've been on a mission to find the best Tom Kha in the area - and this one is currently at the top of the list! It's the perfect blend of sweetness from the coconut, and spicy (I got medium), and the consistency is a little thicker which I love. Their drunken noodles were also great - but I'll come back for that Tom Kha anyyy day!

Amazing food and exceptional customer service! We've been coming here for several years, and the food is consistently delicious every time. During our most recent visit, we were celebrating a friend's birthday, and the staff went above and beyond by surprising her with a special dessert and a candle. It was such a thoughtful touch that made the celebration even more memorable. Highly recommend!

Me and my coworker came here for Lunch on our break. They have good lunch special prices. The restaurant is cute and the staff are very attentive. Two minutes after we sat down the waitress came back and asked if we were ready to order. Felt a bit rushed. My coworker ordered the Thai Tea and she said it was really good. I got the Chicken Pad Thai and it was okay. I've never had pad Thai served with lemon, I was missing the lime. It was both not sweet or sour enough. Lacking flavor. Before we finished our food we were brought boxes without asking. It wasn't great I don't know if I would come back here. It seems hard to find a good Thai place around here.

I ordered the vegetarian one so I'm not sure if that skews the review but it was bland and had so much cabbage. Like, the cabbage was about 75% of all of the vegetables. Maybe like three pieces of broccoli. Not really any flavor, either. I asked for mild (since it was my first time, I wasn't sure what their base level of spice is) and it wasn't even just that it wasn't spicy - it was extremely bland. Had none of that umami flavor I love in a pad see ew. Not sure I'd order this again if I return.

The interior probably is the same, but it was not a distraction from the good food we were served. My wife and I always order summer rolls with peanut sauce when it's offered on the menu where we eat, and the ones we were served hit the spot. For my main meal, I ordered Cashew Chicken at medium Thai heat. They hit the spice on the nose and the rest of dish was an ample amount of veggies, cashews, and chicken. My wife ordered Mixed Vegetables with chicken and enjoyed it. The service was solid. To eat, we started by splitting the chor muang dumplings. These were gorgeous purple dumplings, but I found that their flavor was very delicate. The wrapper was somehow both gummy and overly delicate and broke. They were okay, but definitely more of an aesthetic dish. Next, we got one of the specials, which was a small tart shell filled with raw tuna. This was good, but I felt that the sauce overpowered the delicate fish. For mains, I ended up ordering the kor moo yang (pork jowel). This was the star of the show, it was super tender and flavorful. The relish was barely necessary to be honest. I'd definitely order this again, or get it as an appetizer to split with a few people before the main. To drink, I was really surprised that none of their cocktails were modifiable considering that they have a full bar. They didn't have any cocktails that were speaking to me, so I ended up ordering a zero proof drink, the honey's passion, with a shot of vodka on the side to spike it. This was a good solution. I would probably not go to talay again for food because there are so many good Thai places here, and the food just didn't stand out, but I'd definitely hit the bar for some drinks if I had more time.
