pretty busy Saturday dinner and we waited a bit more than average -- they still working things out. Visuals were done really well Spice for our dishes were inconsistent Pad Thai - Thai hot - literally almost zero spice (the kitchen might have forgotten) Fried crab rice - medium - no spice Kao soi - hot - actually spicy (saucy spice) Tom yum something soup - hot - pretty spicy (pepper spicy) -- this one spiciest Overall ratings Moo ping 8.5/10 -grilled well, sauce is a little salty but flavorful! Chicken Wings 6.5/10 - not that bad but not that good Crab fried rice 8/10 The amount of crab was fair, and the flavors was really balanced! Tom yum nam khon soup 8/10 - should have pay the extra $5 for seafood the the broth to taste better, I got it with chicken Pad Thai 7/10 - not bad - just not spicy for requesting Thai hot Kao soi 5/10 - not a fan of the noodles; the noodles were a little chewy in the broth and the crunch was a little hard - the sauce to me tastes like the light pink buldak ramen and thai curry merged into a dish

This is a nice step up in ambiance from the sister restaurant Thai Villa but the food is just as good! These restaurants introduced me to real Thai food and the quality is always spot on. Hot and fresh. We attempt to try something new from the extensive menu each visit. Haven't chosen a favorite but the Thai Dumplimgs are a must.

Just came back from dinner and we had a great meal! Food was great overall. We came in on Friday at 6pm with a reservation. We got seated right away. We ordered our appetizers and a salad first. They were served in timely manner. We ordered entree right after we got our appetizers. Entrees came out in timely manner. The place became bit busy soon after we got there. We had to waive at the staff to get attentions at times but our needs were met right away. The booth seats were comfortable and cozy. Loved the green ambiance. We celebrated a birthday with a dessert at the end and we had a perfect ending to our night.

Veggie Spring rolls - Peanut sauce is amazing. Not on the menu but can ask!

After an awesome experience at Thai Villa (sister restaurant in Fishers) we knew that we had to give Thai Prime a try. We had a large party and the whole staff was very accommodating. Co-owner Chariya was our server and made a great impression right off the bat. The place has a large menu and I always appreciate when a server makes suggestions/shares common favorites. Not that it mattered because everything ordered was equally as impressive. All the cocktails were tasty and strong. Fans favorite meals include the Yellow Curry, Basil Fried rice, Tom Kha soup, and Cashew Chicken. Restaurant itself is beautifully decorated. Felt intimate in the sense that our large party could converse easily. Will be coming back!!

Really enjoyed Thai Prime. A great addition to Carmel and the best Thai I've had in Indy. Will be back. The decor of the space is also very cool/upscale. The service is only a couple weeks in but they did a nice job and we had a lot of people checking in with us.

Came here for lunch and already want to return. This beautifully decorated former Wahlburgers is a great addition to Carmel. For only $15 you choose from at least 10 dishes that come with noodle soup, salad with that great ginger dressing, a spring roll, rice and your entree. Hubs had the basil shrimp and I had the cashew chicken. We both could only finish half the plate and it was delicious! Not sure if I liked red curry, the manager brought out a sample bowl of the sauce and it was fabulous! We poured it on our rice and gobbled it down! Service was great and if you are on a lunch hour schedule, you can get in and out quickly.

I came here for a late lunch on a Saturday and overall really enjoyed it. The space was bright and airy. We were seated at a half booth which was clean and comfortable. Service was friendly all around. Everything we had was tasty. I'm knocking off a star bc I felt like my dumplings weren't as fresh as they could have been. I really liked the taste but they came out lukewarm. Additionally, as much as I liked the calamari, it was the same. They both came out so fast it seems they were already prepared. The Pad Kee Mao was great!

lychee breeze - very vodka-forward. didn't really have a lychee taste.

first off, the restaurant is absolutely gorgeous! it's nice to dine in a pretty space. it just elevates the entire experience. for appetizers, we started off with calamari and the thai curry crisps. the calamari was a hit with the table! the thai curry crisps are vegetarian (and possibly vegan but i would ask) and were pretty good but a little bland. the menu stated there were 6 or 8 pcs but the waitress advised that it was only 3 so just fyi. two of us ordered the lychee breeze from the cocktail menu and it was very vodka forward. we were expecting it to be a bit more balanced. another guest ordered an old-fashioned and said it was also quite strong... you at least know they don't skimp on alcohol lol. for my entree, i ordered the yellow curry with tofu at a medium spice level. it was on the sweeter side and the potatoes were under-cooked. i'm not sure that i would order it again but i enjoyed the consistency of the sauce (not too soupy) and definitely want to try some of their other curries. the medium spice level was actually very mild, so if you prefer spicy, i would order hot. my friend ordered the thom kha at the medium spice level. i had a bite and it was delicious!! i would definitely order that myself and would recommend it. another friend ordered the crispy red snapper with the mango salad sauce - it looked amazing !!! the presentation was just gorgeous and he loved it. unfortunately, he stated the fish itself was devoid of any seasoning and the only flavor came from the mango sauce which was on the side. my boyfriend ordered the seafood madness at a mild spice level. it was sweeter than he expected but enjoyed it. he would order it again but would prefer a higher spice level. the employees were friendly and helpful. the environment was beautiful and comfortable. the food was okay and the drinks were too strong. hopefully there will be some improvement as they get the hang of things. we still had a good time, though.

This place was pretty good! The decor inside was very nice. A mix of hip and elegant. There is also outdoor seating as well and cool shaped booths inside. Our server was nice and attentive. She was knowledgeable about menu items and checked on us throughout. The food I will say was nothing super spectacular. The presentation of it all was very nice but the flavor just fell flat for a few dishes for what the price point is. I got the tom ka gai and chose to add shrimp which is an extra $3. Other places around Indy shrimp is an option that is included when ordering the soup. I got medium spicy which wasn't very spicy to me and the soup was very onion heavy. Our cocktails were all poured with a very strong hand. In my lychee cocktail the first sip about knocked me out of the booth. So if you like strong pours- these are for you. I like a balance so they weren't necessarily down my alley. Overall I recommend if you want an ambient Thai restaurant to visit on the north side and maybe if you order a different dish than what we got you will enjoy. I'd give it another chance knowing what I do now.

This spot was located where the old Wahlburger used to be in Carmel. Seeing the transformation was "mind blowing"! It is definitely Thai-themed and I loved every bit of it. Is it intimate....not really, but very nice, nonetheless. Hubby and I went Valentine's night and it was crowded. We waited about 10 mins before being seated. We were greeted by our server "Heaven". Things started out a bit rocky, but quickly turned around. The cocktails were delicious and refreshing. Let me tell you....I wanted everything on the menu. But we settled on....house salad, chicken wings, Thai Basil Fried rice, Garlic & Pepper w/Chicken, Pad See Ew w/Beef. I feel as if I'm leaving something out.....Yeah, Spring Rolls. Apologies for the late post, but this place is a MUST visit!!!

11/10!!! This place is a MUST VISIT!! We've been twice and both experiences were amazing! The food is phenomenal. We love the ambiance and atmosphere. Service is always great! We've been twice on a Sunday afternoon with no wait. The food is always fast, fresh and hot. Not pictured but the wontons are a must try. They offer kids chicken nuggets and chicken tenders as well as kids fried rice with pork or chicken. My picky eaters loved! I hope this place never closes because it's amazing!

The restaurant is beautifully decorated and has great ambiance, service was well-paced and friendly, and the food was delicious. We tried the crab rangoon and shrimp cocktail in the restaurant and got takeout pineapple curry and Penang curry. The crab rangoon were crisp and flavorful, and the lime sauce with the shrimp cocktail was bright and unexpected. The curries were both wonderful, but be warned that "mild" is subjective. Our dishes were quite a bit spicier than we were expecting!

Our server somehow navigated his crazy, chaotic section with ease, making sure to check on us multiple times. I think I just had bad luck with what I ordered, because everyone else's food looked or tasted much better than mine! I got the Crack Dip, and some boneless wings with the dry goat rub (was recommended). The crack dip came with chicharrones, which was interesting. It tasted...fine. Just kinda bland with not much going for so it, other than being cream cheesey. Unfortunately the chicharrones did not really add much to the experience. My boneless wings were also the same... Fine. Kinda bland. The dry rub doesn't actually stick to the breading, so it was just plain chunks of breaded chicken tenders with a little pile of seasoning sitting in the bottom of the basket. My friends food however, was actually pretty tasty! The bone-in wings with chili garlic honey sauce were zesty and juicy. Two others ordered burgers, which were decently sized and were rated as delicious. Another friend got the thai chicken lettuce wraps, which the sauces were very tasty with. The sidewinder fries are very big and seasoned well. I would come again and try something different, I just I just got unlucky with my picks.

And when they finally did, she made us pay before she ever served a drink. Not only that, it took nearly 30 minutes to complete our drink order. The worst part is that the bartender forgot one of our drinks and we were told she only charged us for two drinks instead of three which was a flat out lie. Especially since we had a long drawn out conversation about her inability to change the alcohol type in one of our drinks because it's premixed, you'd think she would remember. Sadly, no. We should have left then but were there for a watch party. So we ended up reordering and paying again for the missing drink. We moved to a different area of the bar and still experienced subpar service. Nearly every staff member in this place had the look on their faces like everyone was an inconvenience to them. Not one smile. Very limited interaction. And overall, extremely poor customer service. I would not recommend! Cherry on top: when you pay, they have the unmitigated gall to have the tip increments go from 22-30%. Not a one person who "served" us worked to deserve a tip of that magnitude. And I'm saying this as a very generous tipper! Never again....which I'm sure they don't mind since it's clear they don't care.

Muldoon's ended up being exactly what we were hoping for. The covered patio was comfortable, welcoming, and surprisingly peaceful despite being right downtown. Our server kept the drinks coming while we caught up, and the atmosphere made it easy to lose track of time. The real MVP of the afternoon, though, was my friend's tiny pup. She became the unofficial patio greeter, with a steady stream of people stopping by to say hello, ask to pet her, and strike up conversations. Before we knew it, we'd spent hours chatting with each other and a handful of friendly strangers. Sometimes the best restaurant memories aren't about one unforgettable meal--they're about finding a place where you're happy to linger. Muldoon's absolutely delivered that kind of afternoon. We went for a 3:00 show on a Sunday such that by the time we got out, it was 6:00-still early. It was in the 30's outside and already dark (thanks DLS time). Yet as we reached the top of the stairs to the lobby I was immediately disappointed that there was no fire lit in the fireplace. There were only three parties in the place. One was around the corner in the adjoining sitting area and may or may not have been drinking. There were two couples at the bar, where we considered also sitting. But the only empty spot for two had two dirty drink glasses from a previous patron still sitting. So we opted for the leather couch and chair in the main area just across from the bar. And that's where we waited, and waited, for almost 30 minutes, before giving up on getting served (or acknowledged). There was only one bartender, so we were fine with going up to order but communication would have been helpful. We stood at the bar while she chatted with the two couples, who'd all been served. We couldn't really figure out what she was doing as she seemed busy-ish yet wasn't serving, or clearing, or washing, and we were chatting between ourselves and didn't really give it much thought. Then she said she was out of something and was leaving the bar to go fetch it. We asked her to let us know when she was ready to serve us, and we took our seats to resume our conversation. The bartender returned after a while, and she served one of the original couples ... for another 10 minutes at least. Again we were talking so, while an irritation, it was in the background. About 50 minutes into our visit, she came over and took our drink order. This was my third or fourth visit, and I'd ordered my drink, an old fashioned, before and knew what to expect: bourbon of choice, Luxardo cherry, and a dehydrated orange slice. Ten minutes later we got our drinks. Now mind you, my friend ordered a glass of wine. Nothing time consuming about that. She noted that her pour was smaller than the other times she'd been there. Mine came with the whisky cube already on its way to melted, a broken (a.k.a. piece of) cherry and a twist. What? Where's my glorious little crunchy orange wheel of goodness? I had spied them on the bar earlier. No soup for me! Also, and I can't be sure 100% sure of this, but I tasted neither bitters nor syrup. Was this really just a bourbon rocks? It took a minute but we realized this gal cannot tend and talk at the same time. My friend commented that she had no idea what will happen when the place gets busy, as it has been every other time I've been there. We left after 8:00, after one drink, and for me, $21 lighter. Yeah, it's pricey. And the Carmichael crowd is a discriminating one. So we expected better. Much, much better.
